They piled in. There were five of them now, plus me, bringing us up to a lucky seven, had Sydney been there. When we'd first come to Palm Springs, there'd just been four. Jill, the reason we were all here. scooted in beside me and flashed me a grin.

Jill's three bodyguards climbed into the backseat. They were all dhampirs, a race born of mixed vampire and human heritage form the time our races had shared in free love. They were stronger and faster than the rest of us, making ideal warriors in the battle against Strigoi and royal assassins. Eddie Castile was the de facto leader of the group, a dependable rock who'd been with Jill from the beginning. Angeline Dawes, the red-haired spitfire, was slightly less dependable. And by "less dependable," I mean "not at all." She was a scrapper in a fight, though. The newest addition to the group was Neil Raymond, aka Tall, Proper, and Boring.

Aww Poor Sydney. Having her little sister mad at her because she completely misunderstood Sydney's actions.

I mean it's not Zoe's fault that Zoe misunderstood... Sydney lied.

Don't know if this counts, but a ship I could have seen happened in the future had Richelle or if Richelle comes back to the VA world. Is a relationship forming between Zoe and Angaline's brother that we met in The Last Sacrifice (Don't remember his name at the moment). Not only would that be amazing character development for Zoe. That storyline would be so interesting, giving how the Alchemist feel about The Keepers. Not only that, but as we know Richelle doesn't bring something up to not have it come back in some way. It would also just be hilarious irony for their dad. The daughter that was suppose to be the family Alchemist, gets together with Marcus Flinch (if Silver Shadows is anything to go by) the rebal Alchemist. The daughter that was the family Alchemist, gets married to a Mori (Adrian) and shuts the Alchemist down. And the daughter that was begging to become an Alchemist, ends up with a dhampir who has no issues with being a human and living in a forest. That would just eat him up inside and I would be here for it. Also just imagine Zoe having to hear how happy her two older sisters are from their mom.

And I'm just like everyone else, I want to get to see more of Jill and Eddie's relationship. I think we are all ready to see a relationship between a Royal Mori and a dhampir and how their world thinks about it. Since Sydney and Adrian live in the human world.

Honestly that would be extremely intriguing to watch play out if that were to ever happen! Because we know Zoe doesn't necessarily hate and recoil away from Moroi and Dhampirs so them growing on her could be a possibility especially after she clearly felt bad about sending Sydney to re-education.

I do love about hearing your guys ideas and ships because these are things I never would have thought of myself so again thank you for sending this!!!

okay listen. if meredith is eddie’s twin on the show, then au where she follows eddie out to palm springs and is a melrose triplet, and when zoe arrives, she bonds with one of the melrose fam - meredith, the out and proud queer girl, the one who happily calls out anyone (including the alchemists) on their bullshit, the one who finally gives zoe the courage to be who she is

Sage 101: Zoe

Zoe increases the strength of your next healing spell by 30%. This only includes three of Sage's buttons: Diagnosis and Prognosis (and their Eukrasian variants), as well as Pneuma.

Zoe unlocks upon getting Sage and is available for all Level 56+ content.

Primary uses (by my personal priority) -

Level 90: Buff Pneuma into a mega AoE heal. Great way to maintain your DPS uptime. (780 potency per person + 950 on your Kardia target. For comparison, Earthly Star has 720 potency)

Below level 90: In dungeons, buff your tank's shield before pulls. You can also shield your party before bosses. Also great for shielding boss phase transitions with high damage.

When you are low on resources and need a strong backup heal. Especially at lower levels where your only other AoEs are Ixochole and Physis, Zoe can really support your AoE healing when both are down. (Note Pepsis is an "ability" so you cannot buff it with Zoe)

Zoe isn't the strongest ability but it has its place in Sage's kit. Hopefully these tips will help you get the most out of it :)

Long, optional info under the cut~

When healing raids at 70 or 80, I get pretty decent use out of Zoe. Lots of people are eating mechs, so you run out of resources fast and often have to throw out GCD heals. Pepsis and Zoe are very reliable backup options for healing your party to full. This kind of falls off at higher levels as you get better tools and especially once you have Pneuma.

Starting from 90, 99% of my Zoe use is for Pneuma. I always use them together. Even if it's somewhat overhealing, it doesn't really matter. This is only for big hits, and you're not likely to use Zoe elsewhere. But emergencies happen! Use your healer intuition and your knowledge of the encounter to make the best use of your resources.

^Because of this, I don't use Zoe to shield my party before encounters so that I have it for Pneuma. A regular Eukrasian Prognosis will do.

At level 88, Zoe's cooldown goes down from 120s to 90s. The usefulness of this is... niche. I wouldn't say it's never helpful, but the places this is useful to you are pretty rare. Plus, Pneuma is on a 120s cooldown. Maybe damage happens to be really high in that 30 second window and you had 0 stacks and everything else was on cooldown? It could happen! Duty Finder is always a journey.

I ship Eddie x Mason. My headcanon is that Eddie always had a secret crush on Mason but never said anything afraid it would ruin their friendship. I also saw a tumblr AU where Jill and Zoe fall in love and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

Ohhhhh those are ones I absolutely haven't seen before, that's really interesting (in a good way of course!) I really never thought of Eddie and Mason! The AU for Jill and Zoe is also very intriguing!
