Then he flicked his gaze over to me and did a double-take. His expression wasn't love-struck so much as dumbfounded.

Trey:

"Whoa, Melbourne. Where have you been hiding?" Trey strolled over to us and began liberally filling a cup with the fluorescent green punch. "You look badass. And hot."

Adrian:

He turned his head toward me and froze. I had never seen him so still-- or so quiet. His shock was thorough and intense that he actually dropped his cigarette.

He slowly sat up, eyes wide. He slid off the hood and didn't seem to leave any marks. Obviously I'd have to check it later. "Sage," he said. "What are you wearing?"

I sighed and stared down at the dress. "I know. It's red. Don't start. I'm tired of hearing about it."

"Funny," he said. "I don't think I could ever get tired of looking at it."

Movie nights

Eddie is gonna make sure Declan grows up to be his cheesy action movie buddy, watching Raptobot style movies with him. He'll have Raptorbot pajamas.

One day he'll make the whole family watch Sharknado and Sydney will be absolutely horrified. Adrian will barely pay any attention to the movie because he'll be so delighted at her reactions.

Sydney: My twin is making me watch a movie where there is a tornado of sharks. A shark tornado. Please save me.

Eddie: It's my night to pick the movie and I'm not changing it, sis

They actually enjoy listening to Sydney rant about how things are narratively incoherent and scientifically impossible.

Also, after he makes them watch Transformers Sydney will hate everything about the MBay movies but begrudgingly admit she likes the idea of the alien car robots

Sydney has to be introduced to a bunch of famous movies the gang thinks are essential but she wasn't allowed to watch because Jared thought they glorified magic.

Both Sydney and Adrian like black and white movies but they like different genres, although they both like those screwball comedies from the 30's where the couple talks really fast in witty quips and roasts each other, I wonder why. Adrian might like some pretentious artsy movies but he's also really into romantic movies and swashbucklers (ninja pirate skeleton biker tattoo everyone). I still have to watch any James Dean movies but I feel like Adrian would like him. Sydney likes Audrey Hepburn because I said so.

When Jill comes over she makes them watch YA adaptations and teen movies.

Sydney gets them to watch classics adaptations (So you watched this on your first date with Brady, Sage?) and documentaries but she's surprised by how much she gets into the lighter movies the gang enjoys. She thinks vampire movies are hilarious but actually really enjoys some witchy ones unironically

Angeline is delighted by everything. Maybe horror. Maybe she could get into musicals, they'd seem so absurd to her at first. She likes the action movies Trey and Eddie like too. Occasionally they'll even choose good action movies when they're not taking delight in horrifying everyone.

Daniella is a softie and picks things Declan wants to watch, even though he has his own turn in the kid appropriate movie nights

I cannot fathom what Jackie and Wolfe would want to watch when they visit but I'm sure it's amazing

Bloodlines Characters in Quarantine

-Sydney: Follows all the quarantine safety protocols and only goes out when absolutely necessary. She has a list of educational tv shows, and apps for Declan. 

-Adrian: Is definitely sliding back into his drinking heavily habit, but is refraining from utilizing spirit for Sydney’s sake.

-Jill: Worries about her human friends, bingewatches her favorite tv shows, and occasionally provides her sister Lissa with some insightful ideas. Misses Eddie a lot, and Zoom calls him once a week. 

-Eddie: Is paranoid about accidently bringing home the virus, and has enough hand sanitizer for the whole neighborhood. Teaching Declan is the highlight of his day. 

-Angeline: Is going stir crazy about being locked up, but isn’t willing to put her friends in danger. 

-Trey: Spars with Angeline to cheer her up, and figures this mess will blow over someday. 

-Sonya: Is assisting humans in uncovering a cure for the virus, but has to be reminded to rest occasionally.

thinking a lot about trey juarez. trey, who basically grew up in a cult that taught him all vampires were bad, no exceptions, and they all needed to die. trey, who just like sydney, wanted his father's approval but never got it no matter how much he tried. trey, who is very smart (c'mon, he wouldn't be jackie's teaching assistant if he wasn't smart), but downplays it. trey, who could have easily told the warriors about the melrose fam when he realized they were moroi/dhampirs, but didn't. trey, who saved sydney from being attacked by his own group. trey, who wouldn't have hooked up with angeline had he known she was with eddie, showing he respected eddie despite knowing he was a dhampir (someone he was taught to hate) trey, who fell in love with angeline, a dhampir. someone whose views and personality are brushed off by everyone due to her being a fish out of the water, yet trey finds it endearing. he's the only who takes into consideration what she says. trey, who agreed to help sydney with the ink despite not knowing her full plan. trey, who chose angeline over the warriors, knowing full well he would never be accepted back and would be the ultimate disappointment to his father. trey, who helped jill finish adrian's final painting projects when adrian was at the lowest point of his life. trey, who helped break sydney out of re-education, and later offered to help find jil. just trey juarez in general.
