Made a Tine! Her name is "Seeker" or "Ramdimirukam" Carver and I have been obsessed over this book/species for a while now.
Tines are a pack species from "A Fire Upon the Deep" - What you see here is one character, spread between four fragments. They use those patches on their heads and hips to transmit thoughts through the air, and to receive thoughts of nearby members. I very highly recommend the book. It is so much better than I can do it justice

New Irken OCs!
Chant is an odd Irken who has an obsession with eyes. With their hobby of inventing and tinkering with things, they've created two floating mechanical eyes and a third one that they wear. These eyes function like extentions of their own eyes and acts as sight, cameras, and computers that can display various screens, data, ect.
Orb is your standard Irken soldier. He's incredibly loyal to the Empire and often comes across as stoic and duty-driven. Being unafraid to be injured or get dirty, there's not much that gets to him, but he does have a weakness for smeets, however.
Eglant is a short Irken who's dream is to become an invader for the Empire. She's still young, but excels in her training. Her biggest hurdle, however, is her short stature. Although self-conscious over it, she tries to push her boundaries over her cunningness and skills as a trained Irken soldier to make up for it.
Zot is your standard Irken invader. He's prideful, arrogant, and believes he can do no wrong. He gets a thrill in the art of invasion and has had many successful ones under his belt. What he surpasses in computer and invader skills, however, he lacks in fighting and battles, often becoming easily scared due to not wanting to risk injury.
Flom is the daughter of Sizz Lorr. She's young, but she knows her passion is in music. With a beautiful voice, her talent and skills will hopefully push her into the assignments of an entertainer. For now, however, she works with her father, whom she shares her short temper with. (I know Irkens can't have offspring, but consider this an AU or something, lol~)
Ditlit is a tiny, young Irken whom grew up as childhood friends with Flom. Deeply in love, he basically worships the ground she walks on and shares her musical love also being able to play a variety of instruments. Where ever life takes him, he's happy so long as Flom is there too.

Virtual Character Tourney - Bracket 1 - Round 8
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda below (May contain spoilers!)
Poppy propaganda (Poppyganda?):
Poppy Pipopapo is a video game character called a Bugster. In order to have a form in the real world, Bugsters must kill the human they've infected. Poppy can jump into tv screens whenever she wants to and works with the protagonist, Emu, in a special department of the Hospital to save people from dying to the Bugster Virus. She's very energetic and enthusiastic, and great at rhythm games
Well first of all her name is Poppy Pipopapo which is like. the name ever. Second of all she's a video game character from an in-universe rhythm game and she loves to sing and dance and I love her so so much.
9-Jack-9 Propaganda:
9-Jack-9 (known alternatively as J9AC9K) is a recurring antagonist in Scott McCloud's Astro Boy-inspired superhero/science fiction comic series, Zot!. He's an interstellar spy/assassin who can travel through electrical signals + is responsible for the murders of Zachary Paleozogt/Zot's parents. Individuals seeking Jack's services can contact him by opening a blank document on any computer system and typing out his name, which'll prompt him to instantaneously appear. Jack is the astral projection/digital avatar(?) of Sir John Sheers, a human man. During a fight against Zot, Jack accidentally electrocutes John to death, but continues to exist independently of him.

hi i have a new hc idk if you’ve talked about like. p5 entrance and higher beings and all BUT.
i think radi gave the godseekers the image of the p5 entrance to construct in their mind SPECIFICALLY so that she could have her symbol thingy glow on top of it
if you would like more details about how i came up with this i will be happy to send you a long and possibly insanely deranged summary of my rant about higher beings and the lord of shades
well you can't just leave me HANGIN', anon!! Go ahead n spill those beans

Announcement (2023-12-31)
Hello,
I'd like to announce to those who follow this blog that I'm taking a break from researching the various superhero costume characters with trunks from comic books. I'm looking to focus on other tasks in the meantime, and will likely restart cataloguing of these characters later in the following months.
There are A LOT of characters and their costume variants from the 1940s with various comic book series and publishers to review that I never knew existed! It's been quite a challenging endeavor, backtracking and figure out what I missed. And boy, have there been tons that there missed! Yes, those color errors from earlier issues found their way to later issues making them a valid combination, haha.
For those interested in knowing what's my method to the madness, I look at any of these clothing items' color to determine if a costume has a variant:
Masks/Helmet
Trunks
Gloves/Cuffs
Shirt/Pattern
Logo
Pants
Belt/Buckle
Boots/Shoes/Sandals
Cape
Then I list them based on their:
Earliest appearance
The creator(s) of that earliest design
What the comic book issue was from the earliest appearance
The month/year combination
You might have noticed that certain superhero characters can appear with the same comic book issue and date. That's because their coloring errors were repeated, either by accident or intentionally, in later issues.
I consider a costume variant "valid" to showcase herein if it appears in at least two pages or more of comic books.
So far, single color error pages are not uploaded.
Anyway, I figured the break will be good. This project was supposed to start in the early times (e.g. 1940s) and then move on to later ones…it seems to have manifested into something very large that one person can't really focus on that well without getting tired.
During the hiatus, I'll likely revisit earlier posts to format them correctly, fix their tags, and redo my Photoshop editing of those pages to make the more color balanced.
As the last post for New Year's Eve, I present to you a superhero character from the future of 1965!…in a comic book release April 1984 from Eclipse Comics, a Canadian comic book publisher.
It's…Zot!
Man, does he have a cute butt or what! And yes, apparently there are some variants of his costume that you'll see in the future.
I thank you very much for checking out this blog, I'm glad it caught the attention of folks who were curious to see some variety of superheroes that existed.
