Oh - he wanted to share?
"Sure!" the smaller man smiled, reaching back for one of the knifes he kept on his belt.
For a second he sized the creature up - then, in a flash of what must have been movement, the boar's fur was gone, leaving instead only the meat that had been beneath.
"Like that?"
"...You can share. But can you skin the boar?"
Dantarg offers to give you some boar! but only with some manual labor to replace the skill it took to kill it. of course nothing in this life comes free, his prices are just understandable.

for snake boy callum 2.0 week day 2, snakes + stars
It takes time, but eventually Callum is pieced together enough, and Ezran can't evade enough, that Soren sits them down to have a conversation on castle security. About assassinations.
One of the guards who'd stuck around through everything—had deserted Viren's army, had fought in the tower with Soren and survived the night, had sworn true service to Harrow's heir—sits with them. A familiar face as any, but Callum still eyes her warily.
She's not his family, and she's not even Soren, and...
"There are enchantments I can set around the castle," Callum says. Sky spells are sound like alarms when sound pings off. Sun spells he can craft with help from Aunt Amaya's resources for lights and morse code, shadow traps and truth crystals, just to make sure everyone is being honest.
"Won't some elves maybe know how to undo them, though?" Ezran inquires. He's sitting in a regular chair and his feet can't touch the floor.
He's so tiny, still, and while Callum has seen first hand how capable his brother is, how much he shouldn't be underestimated—He's strong and brave, he'll get it, he'll save the egg!—Callum shakes his head.
He hates the circumstances that led them here. The assassination, the murder, and there's peace now, but their family—and the silver lining of it all isn't even here, now, and—
"It's not elves we have to worry about now, Ez," Callum says darkly. "The other human kingdoms aren't happy with you or Aanya. Even our own is..."
"At least we do not have to worry about more Moonshadow elf assassins," the guard says with a tiny, joking smile, not seeing the warning signs Soren makes with his hands, and it takes all of Callum's self control not to demand she be thrown out of the room.
In the end, he sulks and studies in his new office. Viren'd had a primal stone too once upon a time. There has to be something in his notes, loathe as Callum is go through them of course, that could be a worthwhile measure to implement. Or maintain.
Not that any of them were enough to protect his father from Moonshadow assassins in the end, but... Ez will be different. He has to be different.
Eventually, he turns to a book that's propped half open in the corner of a bookshelf he hasn't really explored yet. The sketch of a soulfang serpent pokes out, and Callum goes and pulls it from the shelf, cracking the tome open.
It hits like a blow to the chest, to be reminded of the Midnight Desert after—he focuses on the eerie green glow of their eyes, the shimmering grey of their scales. They look nothing like dark magic chains at least. A passage is circled about their connection to the Moon arcanum and souls (that's almost enough to make him put the book away) and Viren's cramped handwriting: Two head — switch?
I'd switch places in a second, he'd said to Claudia that day in the library, and she'd run off with an excited gleam in her eye.
It curdles his stomach now to wonder what it was, but... They'd found a basket with snake feces in it in King Harrow's room afterwards. Opeli had shown them the court records once she'd thought they could bear it.
Maybe Viren had...
But it's awful, from the sound of it. Wearing someone else's face, your soul in a stranger's body. It's not as though Katolis doesn't have surgeries—there's the baker's son who'd needed a new kidney, a few years back—but to take a wholly healthy body and... It's the worst kind of dark magic.
Ez finds him out on one of the balconies later, feet slipping just like Callum's had on the climb up. (He can't quite manage to summon his wings again, yet, but... he's working on it.) Callum grabs his hand to help haul him all the way up. It's a moonless night, clouds obscuring the slim crescent that is there. Stars twinkle in between.
"I'm not going to get assassinated, you know," Ezran says, nudging him in the shoulder.
Callum exhales. "I know," he says, because he won't let it happen. "I just..." Tears build, cold on his face in the mid-autumn air. "You're all I have left, Ez."
"She'll come back."
Callum looks away and wipes at his nose with his scarf, sighing when Ezran wraps an arm around his shoulder. He's the big brother, he's supposed to be comforting Ezran, not the other way around.
"I saw the notes you left," Ez continues quietly. "Well, the ones Viren left, I guess. About the soul fang serpent." He runs his fingers over one hand thoughtfully. "D'you think Dad...?"
"I don't know," Callum says. "But—there's no way Dad would've agreed, even if he was given that kind of deal."
The magic was awful. It wasn't precise enough. If the spell could swap souls and bodies, maybe—let the corpse fall and then put you back in, heal up the wounds—let you be yourself, and the other person's soul and body would be severed but buried, then—
Callum pushes those thoughts away. No. No, even if Harrow could've kept his body, even if he could've kept his face, it still wouldn't be fair to whosever soul died on that blade. Not fair to the family, or husk left behind, or...
Callum buries his fingers in his hair and breathes through his nose, in and out. Ezran rests his head on his shoulder.
"I'm glad you're High Mage now," his little brother says, stifling a yawn. "I wouldn't know how to handle all this magic stuff without you."
Someone had to make these kinds of decisions, Callum reminds himself. Or at least consider the possibilities, the paths spreading out before them, even if they weren't all going to be—shouldn't be taken.
He has to be more than Ezran's high mage. There are humans, and dark mages, and someone has to know what they might be up against from the Pentarchy. Ezran needs a shield, from whatever he can still be shielded from.
And that person is him.
"Hm." Callum kisses him on the forehead once Ezran he's asleep, then shifts and picks him up.
Ez is getting heavy for this, but—Callum manages to make his way down, carrying him all the while. He passes Ezran off to Soren in the hall, the king snoozing as the crownguard hefts him up and then heads down the hall to the king's tower.
Callum hauls tome after tome off the shelves after, full of dark magic—grotesque images and wicked spells—carrying them up to his spot on the balcony, a primal flame in his hand as he begins to read. The stars have nearly blinked out by the time he stops and goes to bed.
He had to know what his brother's enemies could be capable of if he wanted to be able to stop them, after all.
(Later, he will know what he's capable of, too.)

He kept perfectly still - so far, not even yet blinking.
"I'm EZ," was the first move he chanced, using only the bare minimum wiggle room required to answer. "I saw some blood over this way - I thought someone might be hurt."
Ellie kept her eyes, and arrow, trained on the stranger in front of her. He froze, just like Ellie ordered him to, but that didn't mean she was going to relax. She didn't know who he was or what we was capable of, but she wasn't going to take any chances. "Who are you? What are you doing out here?" She took a step closer, her gaze briefly falling to the blood trail on the snow near to them, left behind by the injured deer. Was he after it, too?

Week 40 in my rotational play. Here are some Pointoutbacker updates.
First of, I'm very surprised I've managed to play 40 whole weeks in the same world without my game bursting at the seams.
😂
There are more girls than boys being born (11 girls, 8 boys). Either it levels out in the future or more sims will be LGBT+ (neat!) or have foreign spouses (which I don't really want to allow because of population expansion issues)
We have a psychiatrist (Ifeoma Eze) but not a doctor (the family with the sim I want to be a doctor won't be played until like week 60 lol.)
We have a functioning tax and government benefit system. We also have a full fledged functioning bank.
We have a running resort owned by someone!
We have one teen (Margot Le Pen)
We have 3 connected travel worlds that have been travelled to more than once (Champs Les Sims, Suvadiva Resort, and Cruise Ship --- might be upped to 6 when I introduce travel to Ziwabode, China and Al Medina)
Population started at 60 and is now at 79 (expecting a life time cap of 120-150.)
We do not have a priest but we have a full church. (Sim I want to be priest has not been played.)
I've only played 13/30 placed families.
We have a band, but not a local singer pop star (sim that will fill this role hasn't been played yet.)
We have a functional grocery store.
Dr*gs and g*ns are getting sold regularly without a clear mafia boss (sim to fill this role hasn't been played yet.)
Only 4/30 families have pets (playing wished based, and only animal lovers seem to enjoy pet ownership?)
We have a lifeguard.
We have a teacher and daycare worker.
We have a lawyer.
We have a personal trainer.
------
Things I'm excited to see for the future if my save lives to see the day:
first divorce
first wedding
first lawsuit
Ken Lamar (mechanic) owning the gas station.
Priest
Singer
Functional boutique.
A bakery run by resident sim.
Functioning real estate office.
Maybe start a flower shop?

The Beauty of the End Part One: Nashville Michael 'Riz' Ariza x Reader
Tagging: @anime-weeb-4-life, @danzer8705 @mysoulisasunflower @vannabanana1995 @im-just-a-mississippi-girl @sxmmarie @camelia35 @queeniesdiary @briefpersonenemy @creativitybeware @genius2050 @mortal--soul @buddinglinguist @oureternalbond @rubes2323
It’s the trip to Nashville that does it.
Ever since that night you'd played his song together, you’ve been going places. Riz has always known you would. After your set, you’d been approached by a talent scout for one of the recording studios up in L.A. He’d stayed out the way while the two of you talked.
Since then you’ve been away, travelling around the country and opening for some of the bigger names that belong to the label, preforming small intimate shows of your own. He’s lost track of the cities you’ve been to. He tries to tick them off daily. You keep in contact through Facetime, snatching moments when he’s not on a run and you’re not in the middle of recording, or playing.
Before he knows it, it’s been over a month since he’s physically laid eyes on you, so he decides to book a flight and catch up with you in Nashville. It’s a surprise, you usually leave two tickets at the box office. He knows that EZ and his girl caught up with you in Phoenix, that Creeper and Nina took a couple of days off and made a trip of it in Tuscon. The last time Riz had gotten his hands on you was Vegas, you’d spent the entire night making love in your hotel room before you’d been whisked away on the next leg of the tour.
He misses you fiercely, your absence in his day to day feels acute. He misses sitting on the couch with you and strumming his guitar, hearing you sing along when you manage to guess the song he’s playing. He misses the silly little lyrics you make up when you’re doing something mundane like putting away the groceries or folding the laundry. He misses sharing a joint on his patio, watching the smoke bleed from between your lips before you kiss him.
“I want to come home,” you tell him one night over the phone. “I miss being with you.”
That’s when he decides to hit Nashville. He thinks that his physical presence may alleviate some of the home sickness that you feel and fuck he wants to see you, it’s been too long since he’s held you in his arms.
It isn’t until he gets to the venue that realises how big the event is. It’s supposed to be an intimate show, just you and a small audience but it looks like they’ve had to expand to one of the larger spaces. There’s a crowd waiting to be let in and he’s not talking a few people, he hears someone complaining how tickets have been sold out for months, and they had to pay a fortune just to get these ones in the shitty seats.
It’s in that moment Riz realises the potential of this thing, you’ve only been touring for a couple of months and your fanbase has grown exponentially. There are people actually wearing t shirts with your face on, it’s both moving and fucking weird at the same time. He sits down on the edge of a fountain in the plaza and watches the line snake around the side of the building. He’s so fucking proud of you, you’re doing what you set out to do, you’re achieving your dream, but he knows that’s in flux. You’re emotional and impulsive. He thinks the moment you set eyes on him; you might just blow the whole thing up. Quit the tour and come back to Santo Padre, fall back into a boring life with him. You could have so much more, you deserve so much more, there’s just one thing holding you back.
Him.
He’s the only thing that ties you Santo Padre, this tether that stops you from breaking free and finding your own path amongst the stars. You need to cut your losses, but you won’t do it, you’re too fucking loyal.
So Riz does it for you.
He calls you from an airport hotel room near Nashville International and ends it. It’s the worst thing he has ever fucking had to do. He knows if he says the distance is too much, that you’ll come home in an instant so he lies, he tells you that his feelings aren’t the same, that he’s met someone else. You’re crying by the time he hangs up the phone and it fucking wrecks him. He drinks himself to sleep that night and when he gets back to Santo Pandre, all the other nights that follow.
Love Riz? Don’t miss any of his stories by joining the taglist here.

Fishingports: port or harbour for landing and distributing fish; Textile Mills: A textile mill is a factory or facility that produces textiles from yarn or fabric into usable textiles. Some of these various textiles include apparel, furniture, agriculture, auto, marine, and other industries; Foundry: is a factory where castings are produced by melting metal, pouring liquid metal into a mold, then allowing it to solidify.
The Regiment of Princes
The Regement of Princes, written for Henry V of England shortly before his accession, is a homily on virtues and vices, adapted from Aegidius de Colonna's Latin work of the same name, from a supposed epistle of Aristotle known as Secretum Secretorum, and from a work of Jacques de Cessoles (fl. 1300) translated later by Caxton as The Game and Playe of Chesse. The Regement survives in at least 43 manuscript copies.[11] It comments on Henry V's lineage, to cement the House of Lancaster's claim to England's throne. Its proem, occupying about a third of the whole, contains reminiscences of London tavern life in a dialogue between the poet and an old man.
A paramount chief is the English-language designation for a king or queen or the highest-level political leader in a regional or local polity or country administered politically with a chief-based system. Eze (pronounced [ézè]) is an Igbo word which means King. Such words as Igwe and Obi, plus others, are used by Igbo people as titles of respect and homage to the Eze. Igwe is derived from the Igbo word Igwekala or Eluigwekala, "the sky or heaven above the sky is higher or bigger than land", implying that the Eze is a higher servant of the people. Obi usually refers to the centre building for receiving visitors within an Igbo leader's or man's homestead. When used as a title of respect for the Eze, Obi implies: "the one who sits in the throne house or heart of the Kingdom.” In Igbo tradition and culture, the Eze is normally an absolute monarch advised by a council of chiefs or elders whom he appoints based on their good standing within the community. A popular saying in Igbo is "Igbo enwe eze", which translates to "the Igbo have no king." This popular saying does not, however, capture the complexity of Igbo societies as it has been explored in many centuries of anthropological, sociological and political research. In many ways, it is a comment on a cultural disregard for authority and nationhood as seen in the build-up and aftermath of the Biafran Civil War. The Igbo people had and still have ruling bodies of royal and political leaders in which an individual can be recognized by the entire society as primus inter pares, i.e., first among equals. This status is usually hereditary among the male lineage, since Igbo culture is patrilineal. Women in Igbo cultures were known to develop parallel social hierarchies through which they both competed and collaborated with their counterpart male kingship and governing hierarchies. However, there was one woman Eze in colonial Nigeria, Ahebi Ugbabe.[1] The word "kgosi" is a Setswana term for "king" or "chief". Various affixes can be added to the word to change its meaning: adding the prefix di- creates the plural form dikgosi; the feminine suffix -gadi makes the word kgosigadi; and the adjectival suffix -kgolo, meaning "large", creates kgosikgolo, the word for "supreme leader". It is a title often given to aristocrats in Botswana and surrounding countries where there are Tswana speaking people. The office of tribal leadership is called the bogosi while the person who assumes the office is the kgosi.[2] The Bogosi Act of 2008 defines the powers of dikgosi. According to the Bogosi Act, the kgosi of a tribe has several duties: to manage the tribe, to organize kgotla meetings, and to follow the rules and advice of the national government and the members of the tribe. The dikgosi of the eight main Batswana tribes automatically become members of the Ntlo ya Dikgosi, an advisory body within the Parliament of Botswana. The kgosi has the ability to appoint a mothusa kgosi who acts as an acting leader while the kgosi is temporarily unable to perform his or her duties.[3] This is different from the motshwarelela bogosi, an office created when the kgosi is permanently unable to perform his or her duties and a replacement kgosi is needed.[4]
A band society, sometimes called a camp, or in older usage, a horde, is the simplest form of human society. A band generally consists of a small kin group, no larger than an extended family or clan. The general consensus of modern anthropology sees the average number of members of a social band at the simplest level of foraging societies with generally a maximum size of 30 to 50 people.[1]
Band' was one of a set of three terms employed by early modern ethnography to analyse aspects of hunter-gatherer foraging societies.
Cadet Branch in Falmouth under House of Rose.
Kgosi will be the title for the Ethnic Group.
A complex society is characterized by the following modern features:
Organizational society wherein its economy is structured according to specialization and a division of labor. These economic features spawn a bureaucratic class and often lead to inequality.[1] Leading to the rise of a ruling elite.
Archaeologically, features such as big architectural projects such as temples, palaces, public works etc and prescribed burial rites.[1]
Large scale agricultural development, leads to surplus food, which allows members of the society the time for developing and practicing specialized skill sets, other than farming.
Organized political structure and state institutions.
The term is mostly used as shorthand to indicate a society with intricate political organization and using technology to expand economic production.[2]
The Lords Spiritual are the bishops of the Church of England who sit in the House of Lords of the United Kingdom. Up to 26 of the 42 diocesan bishops and archbishops of the Church of England serve as Lords Spiritual (not including retired bishops who sit by right of a peerage). The Church of Scotland, which is Presbyterian, and the Anglican churches in Wales and in Northern Ireland, which are no longer established churches, are not represented. The Lords Spiritual are distinct from the Lords Temporal, their secular counterparts who also sit in the House of Lords.

The Huguenots (/ˈhjuːɡənɒts/ HEW-gə-nots, UK also /-noʊz/ -nohz; French: [yɡ(ə)no]) are a religious group of French Protestants who held to the Reformed (Calvinist) tradition of Protestantism. The term, which may be derived from the name of a Swiss political leader, the Genevan burgomaster Besançon Hugues (1491–1532), was in common use by the mid-16th century. Huguenot was frequently used in reference to those of the Reformed Church of France from the time of the Protestant Reformation. By contrast, the Protestant populations of eastern France, in Alsace, Moselle, and Montbéliard, were mainly Lutherans. The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church (Amharic: የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን, romanized: Yä-ityopp'ya ortodoks täwahədo betä krəstiyan)[1] is the largest of the Oriental Orthodox Churches. One of the few Christian churches in Africa originating before European colonization of the continent,[5] the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church dates back to the Christianization of the Kingdom of Aksum in 330,[6] and has between 36 million and 51 million adherents in Ethiopia.[2][3][4] It is a founding member of the World Council of Churches.[7] The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church is in communion with the other Oriental Orthodox churches (the Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church, the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria, the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, the Armenian Apostolic Church, and the Syriac Orthodox Church). HUGUENOTS AND TEWAHEDO SYNCRETISM
Monolatry (Ancient Greek: μόνος, romanized: monos, lit. 'single', and λατρεία, latreia, 'worship') is the belief in the existence of many gods, but with the consistent worship of only one deity.[1] The term monolatry was perhaps first used by Julius Wellhausen.[2]Monolatry is distinguished from monotheism, which asserts the existence of only one god, and henotheism, a religious system in which the believer worships one god while accepting that others, for example in different areas, may worship different gods with equal validity.[clarify][3]

Shakespearean Influence Henriad: Prince Hal is the standard term used in literary criticism to refer to Shakespeare's portrayal of the young Henry V of England as a prince before his accession to the throne, taken from the diminutive form of his name used in the plays almost exclusively by Falstaff. Henry is called "Prince Hal" in critical commentary on his character in Henry IV, Part 1 and Henry IV, Part 2, though also sometimes in Henry V when discussed in the context of the wider Henriad. In Shakespearean scholarship, the Henriad refers to a group of William Shakespeare's history plays depicting the rise of the English kings.

Another phrase to describe this obedience to the voice is “reckless abandon.” It simply means that we let God do what God wants to do through us. It means if He tells us to do something or say something—we do it.
Pedagogy (/ˈpɛdəɡɒdʒi, -ɡoʊdʒi, -ɡɒɡi/), most commonly understood as the approach to teaching, is the theory and practice of learning, and how this process influences, and is influenced by, the social, political, and psychological development of learners. Pedagogy, taken as an academic discipline, is the study of how knowledge and skills are imparted in an educational context, and it considers the interactions that take place during learning. Both the theory and practice of pedagogy vary greatly as they reflect different social, political, and cultural contexts.
Augustine's thesis depicts the history of the world as universal warfare between God and the Devil. This metaphysical war is not limited by time but only by geography on Earth. In this war, God moves (by divine intervention, Providence) those governments, political/ideological movements and military forces aligned (or aligned the most) with the Catholic Church (the City of God) in order to oppose by all means—including military—those governments, political/ideological movements and military forces aligned (or aligned the most) with the Devil (the City of the World).
Mekubbalim (followers of Kabbala) claim that the symbol has magical powers. There is no explicit historical or archaeological support for any of those claims. The star consists of two intertwined triangles: one pointing up to God and the other pointing down to man, symbolizing the relationship between the two—"the interpenetration of two realms" (source: Franz Rosenzweig, Star of Redemption, 1912). The animals associated with the Christian tetramorph originate in the Babylonian symbols of the four fixed signs of the zodiac: the ox representing Taurus; the lion representing Leo; the eagle representing Scorpio; the man or angel representing Aquarius. First Receiver after Rucks or Pick and Go Rucker. Three Door Explode: Three Doors as Decision Making Indicator for Down Hill Sprinting; if No Doors Pass the Ball.
Defence: The basic defensive unit in rugby consists of three players. This obviously shifts very quickly, but at the point a tackle is likely, there should be a defender square with the ball carrier and supporting players on either side square with the immediate threats on the ball carrier's left and right. The drift defence is one of the two main types of defensive strategies in rugby (the other being the blitz defence). The basic concept behind the drift defence is to go “up and out” as a defensive line; once the ball carrier has past, the defender marking them should push outward to cover the receiver whilst the rest of the defensive line also shifts outward. Umbrella Defence provides more intensity in front of the ball than flat defence, with flanking support a step behind to cover kicks and recover quickly after a tackle is made. It also makes it easier to stop linebreaks if the player in front of the ball carrier is stepped.
Jack Boys: Players who have the ability to play a number of positions in a team are called utility players.[95] Utility players can be seen as "Jack of all trades"[95] and they generally occupy the reserve position in a team.[96] For this reason, many try to avoid being labelled as utilities.[97][98] Players in the forward positions are generally more specialised than those that play in the backs. However, flankers can usually play number eight, like Grégory Alldritt, David Pocock, Caelan Doris and Kieran Read. Many players may also be capable of playing lock as well as a back-row position, with several modern examples being Sébastien Chabal, Maro Itoje, Tadhg Beirne, Ryan Baird, Courtney Lawes, Steven Luatua, and Cameron Woki, all with international caps in both rows of the scrum. The front row positions are usually very specialised, although some props can play both sides or even hooker.

DRUG SORCERY AND PHARMACOECONOMICS (PHARM BOYS AND PHARMA FIRMS)
It has been argued that narco-states can be divided into five categories depending on their level of dependence on the narcotics trade and the threat the narcotics trade in said country poses to domestic and international stability. These five categories are (in ascending order): incipient, developing, serious, critical, and advanced
Pharmaterrorism, in its original context, is understood to refer to the attempts of narcotics traffickers to influence the policies of a government or a society through violence and intimidation, and to hinder the enforcement of anti-drug laws by the systematic threat or use of such violence.
Pharma Maritime economy is a political and economic term applied to countries where all legitimate institutions become penetrated by the power and wealth of the illegal drug trade.
Elements of the maritime industry such as seaports and terminals have always been important areas of social and economic opportunities. Ports are key strategic sectors, playing key economic, internal and international security roles for both developed and developing countries.[9] The strategic importance of ports and other maritime resources have led to the industry being criticized by Maersk, a major shipping company, as "an environment where facilitation payments and extortion are common occurrences".[10] In the EU specifically, coastal regions and major sea ports have shown to present the highest risks of corruption. Europe's coastal borders have increasingly been subject to corruption pressure by smugglers in the past few years. In addition, border guards and local government officials are often involved in corruption schemes related to cross-border trade.Typically, in European small coastal towns, the corruption of border guards is often related to corruption in local authorities.[11] Several ports in Europe have been identified by the Center for the Study of Democracy as having extreme vulnerability to corruption pressures:[11]
Corruption can be defined in various ways. For example, according to the Oxford Dictionary, corruption is “dishonest or illegal behavior, especially of people in authority”.[4] Huntington (1989) defined it somewhat differently, by describing corruption as “the behavior, exhibited by public officials which deviates from accepted norms in order to serve private aims”.[5] These definitions are also correct for maritime corruption specifically, however, in this field corruption can be categorized in different ways – especially at ports.
Sequeira and Djankov (2014) distinguish between two types of corruption at ports: collusive and coercive corruption. Under collusive corruption, public officials and private agents share illicit transaction-generated rents, while under coercive corruption, public bureaucrats force private agents to pay additional fees to be able to gain access to public services and goods.[6]
Pharmacoeconomics refers to the scientific discipline that compares the value of one pharmaceutical drug or drug therapy to another.[1][2] It is a sub-discipline of health economics. A pharmacoeconomic study evaluates the cost (expressed in monetary terms) and effects (expressed in terms of monetary value, efficacy or enhanced quality of life) of a pharmaceutical product. Pharmacoeconomic studies serve to guide optimal healthcare resource allocation, in a standardized and scientifically grounded manner.
Pharmacoeconomics centers on the economic evaluation of pharmaceuticals, and can use cost-minimization analysis, cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis or cost-utility analysis. Quality-adjusted life years have become the dominant outcome of interest in pharmacoeconomic evaluations, and many studies employ a cost-per-QALY analysis. Economic evaluations are carried out alongside randomized controlled trials and using methods of decision-analytic modeling. Pharmacoeconomics is a useful method of economic evaluation of various treatment options. As more expensive drugs are being developed and licensed it has become imperative especially in context of developing countries where resources are scarce to apply the principles of pharmacoeconomics for various drugs and treatment options so that maximum improvement in quality of life can be achieved in minimum cost.[3]
A tablet press is a mechanical device that compresses powder into tablets of uniform size and weight. A tablet press can be used to manufacture tablets of a wide variety of materials, including pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, cleaning products, industrial pellets and cosmetics.
A cough syrup filling machine is designed to fill liquid in any viscosity, including syrup. There are many types of syrup-filling machines, such as vacuum, servo, pump, gravity, pressure, piston, and counting filling machines.
Fishing Village to Port Village: Fishery ports are locations where the unloading, processing, and distribution of fishery and marine products take place. These places serve as hubs for the fishing industry, playing a crucial role in the local economy, the food supply chain, and the preservation of the fishing tradition. Here’s a more detailed explanation of why fishery ports are so important: Job Generation: Fishery ports create a significant number of direct and indirect jobs, from fishermen and processing plant workers to personnel in transportation and logistics companies. Food Supply: Fishery products are a vital source of food worldwide. Fishery ports facilitate the unloading of fresh catches and their distribution to local and international markets. Local Economy: Fishery ports boost the local economy by attracting investment and commercial activity. They also contribute to the development of coastal communities. Processing and Export: Many fishery products are processed in ports before being shipped elsewhere. This adds value to the industry and enables the export of high-quality products Of the world’s total sea harvest, about one-fourth is provided by the herring family (sardine, anchovy, menhaden). The cod family (haddock, hake, pollock, cusk, ocean perch) accounts for about one-sixth. Another one-tenth is made up of tuna, bonita, and mackerel; and the rest of the harvest includes salmon, flounder, halibut, sole, the shellfish, and trout and other freshwater fish, including carp and catfish.
Free trade zones are generally organized around major seaports, international airports, and national frontiers—areas with many geographic advantages for trade. An export-processing zone (EPZ) is a specific type of FTZ usually set up in developing countries by their governments to promote industrial and commercial exports.

NIGERIAN POUND
The pound was the currency of Nigeria between 1907 and 1973. Until 1958, Nigeria used the British West African pound, after which it issued its own currency. The pound was subdivided into 20 shillings, each of 12 pence. The Nigerian pound, at parity with sterling with free convertibility,[1] was replaced in 1973 with the decimal naira at a rate of £1 = ₦2,[2] making Nigeria the last country to abandon the pre-decimal £sd currency system.
The House of Representatives (also called Green Chamber) is the lower chamber of Nigeria's bicameral National Assembly.[1] The Senate is the upper chamber.[2]
The First Republic was the republican government of Nigeria between 1963 and 1966 governed by the first republican constitution. The country's government was based on a federal form of the Westminster system.
An index fund (also index tracker) is a mutual fund or exchange-traded fund (ETF) designed to follow certain preset rules so that it can replicate the performance of ("track") a specified basket of underlying investments.
Key performance indicators (KPIs) are quantifiable measurements used to gauge a company’s overall long-term performance. Organizations use KPIs to track their progress on key business objectives.

@hesaint xxx
“Ligma?” he repeated, almost incredulously. “Who on Earth is Ligma? I didn’t receive any reports about someone named Ligma! Oh dear, this is the last thing I need!” He hurriedly flipped through the open book, glancing at the names as if searching for a sign of this missing individual. It was only when Adam finally dropped the ball(s) that the realization hit him, and he felt a heat rush to his cheeks. He stood there, momentarily speechless, before finally managing to blurt out, “Adam! How could you?” He ignored the ‘skill issues’ comment in favor of shoving one of his skinny little hands into Adam’s side and trying to push him off the pulpit, wings twitching with indignation. “You can’t just go around ligma-ing people! What would the others think? This is Heaven, for crying out loud!” Peter shook his head, trying to suppress a mixture of embarrassment and shock. Was he a little miffed for falling for the same type of joke yet again? yes. Is he likely to keep falling for the same joke? Also yes. “Honestly, I thought you were better than this! Have some decorum, for the love of all that is holy!” His expression softened slightly, but he still looked incredulous. “I swear to Father, you’re going to be the reason I’m stuck in the HR office, sorting through complaints. It’s a good thing I care about you, or I’d have half a mind to report you to the higher-ups.”
The set up is almost too good. The fact that he hasn't snorted through his bared teeth while the twink turns pages is a miracle, honestly. But it is heaven- literally home of miracles, so it comes in handy in times like this. He does rub his claws together though, waiting...almooooost~
Once he can finally enjoy the full extent of his ligma foreplay, he cackles and swings a large wing up to block the swatting and puny pushing attempts. He might not be the paragon of fitness (especially when Michael roided up Morningstar is in even one mile of his vicinity) that book cunt hardly lifts anything heavier than paper- and that's with the addition of a tongue tapped finger to help separate the pages.
"HAH- fucking EZ, bro. EVERY TIME!"
Slapping his knee as if he's God's gift to comedy gold (and he is), he finally vacates the pulpit with a flap of wings that definitely musses up Peter's Sports Clips perm. Though he doesn't vacate just yet, sticking around with arms crossed and wings batting slow and deep to keep level with the glorified book stand.
"You lost? Licked balls is as close to heaven as it gets without like- actually being here~" He notes, slowly shifting through the air to hover behind the frazzled front gater. A few more flaps and any corrections to that perm are undone and forced over the other's eyes.
"Uhhh-yeah you are. I put in like sixty tickets yesterday. You won't believe the amount of shit I go through on the daily. Like- would it kill James again to stop blasting Nickelback in the break room?? I mean- come the fuck on! And don't even get me started on the Biblically Accurate Angel chick spitting instead of swallowing-"

Facebookról hoztam át Jasmine Mooney történetét, aki kanadai állampolgár, mégis bevarrták 11 nap fogdára a Trump pribékek. Bele se akarok gondolni, mi lehet az egyszeri mexikói sorsa. Kibaszott örület ez az egész.

Canadian ‘American Pie’ actress Jasmine Mooney was detained byTrump’s ICE agents at the US-Mexico border and jailed for 12 days.
There was no explanation, no warning. One minute, I was in an immigration office talking to an officer about my work visa, which had been approved months before and allowed me, a Canadian, to work in the US. The next, I was told to put my hands against the wall, and patted down like a criminal before being sent to an Ice detention center without the chance to talk to a lawyer.
I grew up in Whitehorse, Yukon, a small town in the northernmost part of Canada. I always knew I wanted to do something bigger with my life. I left home early and moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, where I built a career spanning multiple industries – acting in film and television, owning bars and restaurants, flipping condos and managing Airbnbs.
In my 30s, I found my true passion working in the health and wellness industry. I was given the opportunity to help launch an American brand of health tonics called Holy! Water – a job that would involve moving to the US.
I was granted my trade Nafta work visa, which allows Canadian and Mexican citizens to work in the US in specific professional occupations, on my second attempt. It goes without saying, then, that I have no criminal record. I also love the US and consider myself to be a kind, hard-working person.
I started working in California and travelled back and forth between Canada and the US multiple times without any complications – until one day, upon returning to the US, a border officer questioned me about my initial visa denial and subsequent visa approval. He asked why I had gone to the San Diego border the second time to apply. I explained that that was where my lawyer’s offices were, and that he had wanted to accompany me to ensure there were no issues.
After a long interrogation, the officer told me it seemed “shady” and that my visa hadn’t been properly processed. He claimed I also couldn’t work for a company in the US that made use of hemp – one of the beverage ingredients. He revoked my visa, and told me I could still work for the company from Canada, but if I wanted to return to the US, I would need to reapply.
I was devastated; I had just started building a life in California. I stayed in Canada for the next few months, and was eventually offered a similar position with a different health and wellness brand.
I restarted the visa process and returned to the same immigration office at the San Diego border, since they had processed my visa before and I was familiar with it. Hours passed, with many confused opinions about my case. The officer I spoke to was kind but told me that, due to my previous issues, I needed to apply for my visa through the consulate. I told her I hadn’t been aware I needed to apply that way, but had no problem doing it.
Then she said something strange: “You didn’t do anything wrong. You are not in trouble, you are not a criminal.”
I remember thinking: Why would she say that? Of course I’m not a criminal!
She then told me they had to send me back to Canada. That didn’t concern me; I assumed I would simply book a flight home. But as I sat searching for flights, a man approached me.
“Come with me,” he said.
There was no explanation, no warning. He led me to a room, took my belongings from my hands and ordered me to put my hands against the wall. A woman immediately began patting me down. The commands came rapid-fire, one after another, too fast to process.
They took my shoes and pulled out my shoelaces.
“What are you doing? What is happening?” I asked.
“You are being detained.”
“I don’t understand. What does that mean? For how long?”
“I don’t know.”
That would be the response to nearly every question I would ask over the next two weeks: “I don’t know.”
They brought me downstairs for a series of interviews and medical questions, searched my bags and told me I had to get rid of half my belongings because I couldn’t take everything with me.
“Take everything with me where?” I asked.
A woman asked me for the name of someone they could contact on my behalf. In moments like this, you realize you don’t actually know anyone’s phone number anymore. By some miracle, I had recently memorized my best friend Britt’s number because I had been putting my grocery points on her account.
I gave them her phone number.
They handed me a mat and a folded-up sheet of aluminum foil.
“What is this?”
“Your blanket.”
“I don’t understand.”
I was taken to a tiny, freezing cement cell with bright fluorescent lights and a toilet. There were five other women lying on their mats with the aluminum sheets wrapped over them, looking like dead bodies. The guard locked the door behind me.
For two days, we remained in that cell, only leaving briefly for food. The lights never turned off, we never knew what time it was and no one answered our questions. No one in the cell spoke English, so I either tried to sleep or meditate to keep from having a breakdown. I didn’t trust the food, so I fasted, assuming I wouldn’t be there long.
On the third day, I was finally allowed to make a phone call. I called Britt and told her that I didn’t understand what was happening, that no one would tell me when I was going home, and that she was my only contact.
They gave me a stack of paperwork to sign and told me I was being given a five-year ban unless I applied for re-entry through the consulate. The officer also said it didn’t matter whether I signed the papers or not; it was happening regardless.
I was so delirious that I just signed. I told them I would pay for my flight home and asked when I could leave.
No answer.
Then they moved me to another cell – this time with no mat or blanket. I sat on the freezing cement floor for hours. That’s when I realized they were processing me into real jail: the Otay Mesa Detention Center.
I was told to shower, given a jail uniform, fingerprinted and interviewed. I begged for information.
“How long will I be here?”
“I don’t know your case,” the man said. “Could be days. Could be weeks. But I’m telling you right now – you need to mentally prepare yourself for months.”
Months.
I felt like I was going to throw up.
I was taken to the nurse’s office for a medical check. She asked what had happened to me. She had never seen a Canadian there before. When I told her my story, she grabbed my hand and said: “Do you believe in God?”
I told her I had only recently found God, but that I now believed in God more than anything.
“I believe God brought you here for a reason,” she said. “I know it feels like your life is in a million pieces, but you will be OK. Through this, I think you are going to find a way to help others.”
At the time, I didn’t know what that meant. She asked if she could pray for me. I held her hands and wept.
I felt like I had been sent an angel.
I was then placed in a real jail unit: two levels of cells surrounding a common area, just like in the movies. I was put in a tiny cell alone with a bunk bed and a toilet.
The best part: there were blankets. After three days without one, I wrapped myself in mine and finally felt some comfort.
For the first day, I didn’t leave my cell. I continued fasting, terrified that the food might make me sick. The only available water came from the tap attached to the toilet in our cells or a sink in the common area, neither of which felt safe to drink.
Eventually, I forced myself to step out, meet the guards and learn the rules. One of them told me: “No fighting.”
“I’m a lover, not a fighter,” I joked. He laughed.
I asked if there had ever been a fight here.
“In this unit? No,” he said. “No one in this unit has a criminal record.”
That’s when I started meeting the other women.
That’s when I started hearing their stories.
And that’s when I made a decision: I would never allow myself to feel sorry for my situation again. No matter how hard this was, I had to be grateful. Because every woman I met was in an even more difficult position than mine.
There were around 140 of us in our unit. Many women had lived and worked in the US legally for years but had overstayed their visas – often after reapplying and being denied. They had all been detained without warning.
If someone is a criminal, I agree they should be taken off the streets. But not one of these women had a criminal record. These women acknowledged that they shouldn’t have overstayed and took responsibility for their actions. But their frustration wasn’t about being held accountable; it was about the endless, bureaucratic limbo they had been trapped in.
The real issue was how long it took to get out of the system, with no clear answers, no timeline and no way to move forward. Once deported, many have no choice but to abandon everything they own because the cost of shipping their belongings back is too high.
I met a woman who had been on a road trip with her husband. She said they had 10-year work visas. While driving near the San Diego border, they mistakenly got into a lane leading to Mexico. They stopped and told the agent they didn’t have their passports on them, expecting to be redirected. Instead, they were detained. They are both pastors.
I met a family of three who had been living in the US for 11 years with work authorizations. They paid taxes and were waiting for their green cards. Every year, the mother had to undergo a background check, but this time, she was told to bring her whole family. When they arrived, they were taken into custody and told their status would now be processed from within the detention center.
Another woman from Canada had been living in the US with her husband who was detained after a traffic stop. She admitted she had overstayed her visa and accepted that she would be deported. But she had been stuck in the system for almost six weeks because she hadn’t had her passport. Who runs casual errands with their passport?
One woman had a 10-year visa. When it expired, she moved back to her home country, Venezuela. She admitted she had overstayed by one month before leaving. Later, she returned for a vacation and entered the US without issue. But when she took a domestic flight from Miami to Los Angeles, she was picked up by Ice and detained. She couldn’t be deported because Venezuela wasn’t accepting deportees. She didn’t know when she was getting out.
There was a girl from India who had overstayed her student visa for three days before heading back home. She then came back to the US on a new, valid visa to finish her master’s degree and was handed over to Ice due to the three days she had overstayed on her previous visa.
There were women who had been picked up off the street, from outside their workplaces, from their homes. All of these women told me that they had been detained for time spans ranging from a few weeks to 10 months. One woman’s daughter was outside the detention center protesting for her release.
That night, the pastor invited me to a service she was holding. A girl who spoke English translated for me as the women took turns sharing their prayers – prayers for their sick parents, for the children they hadn’t seen in weeks, for the loved ones they had been torn away from.
Then, unexpectedly, they asked if they could pray for me. I was new here, and they wanted to welcome me. They formed a circle around me, took my hands and prayed. I had never felt so much love, energy and compassion from a group of strangers in my life. Everyone was crying.
At 3am the next day, I was woken up in my cell.
“Pack your bag. You’re leaving.”
I jolted upright. “I get to go home?”
The officer shrugged. “I don’t know where you’re going.”
Of course. No one ever knew anything.
I grabbed my things and went downstairs, where 10 other women stood in silence, tears streaming down their faces. But these weren’t happy tears. That was the moment I learned the term “transferred”.
For many of these women, detention centers had become a twisted version of home. They had formed bonds, established routines and found slivers of comfort in the friendships they had built. Now, without warning, they were being torn apart and sent somewhere new. Watching them say goodbye, clinging to each other, was gut-wrenching.
I had no idea what was waiting for me next. In hindsight, that was probably for the best.
Our next stop was Arizona, the San Luis Regional Detention Center. The transfer process lasted 24 hours, a sleepless, grueling ordeal. This time, men were transported with us. Roughly 50 of us were crammed into a prison bus for the next five hours, packed together – women in the front, men in the back. We were bound in chains that wrapped tightly around our waists, with our cuffed hands secured to our bodies and shackles restraining our feet, forcing every movement into a slow, clinking struggle.
When we arrived at our next destination, we were forced to go through the entire intake process all over again, with medical exams, fingerprinting – and pregnancy tests; they lined us up in a filthy cell, squatting over a communal toilet, holding Dixie cups of urine while the nurse dropped pregnancy tests in each of our cups. It was disgusting.
We sat in freezing-cold jail cells for hours, waiting for everyone to be processed. Across the room, one of the women suddenly spotted her husband. They had both been detained and were now seeing each other for the first time in weeks.
The look on her face – pure love, relief and longing – was something I’ll never forget.
We were beyond exhausted. I felt like I was hallucinating.
The guard tossed us each a blanket: “Find a bed.”
There were no pillows. The room was ice cold, and one blanket wasn’t enough. Around me, women lay curled into themselves, heads covered, looking like a room full of corpses. This place made the last jail feel like the Four Seasons.
I kept telling myself: Do not let this break you.
Thirty of us shared one room. We were given one Styrofoam cup for water and one plastic spoon that we had to reuse for every meal. I eventually had to start trying to eat and, sure enough, I got sick. None of the uniforms fit, and everyone had men’s shoes on. The towels they gave us to shower were hand towels. They wouldn’t give us more blankets. The fluorescent lights shined on us 24/7.
Everything felt like it was meant to break you. Nothing was explained to us. I wasn’t given a phone call. We were locked in a room, no daylight, with no idea when we would get out.
I tried to stay calm as every fiber of my being raged towards panic mode. I didn’t know how I would tell Britt where I was. Then, as if sent from God, one of the women showed me a tablet attached to the wall where I could send emails. I only remembered my CEO’s email from memory. I typed out a message, praying he would see it.
He responded.
Through him, I was able to connect with Britt. She told me that they were working around the clock trying to get me out. But no one had any answers; the system made it next to impossible. I told her about the conditions in this new place, and that was when we decided to go to the media.
She started working with a reporter and asked whether I would be able to call her so she could loop him in. The international phone account that Britt had previously tried to set up for me wasn’t working, so one of the other women offered to let me use her phone account to make the call.
We were all in this together.
With nothing to do in my cell but talk, I made new friends – women who had risked everything for the chance at a better life for themselves and their families.
Through them, I learned the harsh reality of seeking asylum. Showing me their physical scars, they explained how they had paid smugglers anywhere from $20,000 to $60,000 to reach the US border, enduring brutal jungles and horrendous conditions.
One woman had been offered asylum in Mexico within two weeks but had been encouraged to keep going to the US. Now, she was stuck, living in a nightmare, separated from her young children for months. She sobbed, telling me how she felt like the worst mother in the world.
Many of these women were highly educated and spoke multiple languages. Yet, they had been advised to pretend they didn’t speak English because it would supposedly increase their chances of asylum.
Some believed they were being used as examples, as warnings to others not to try to come.
Women were starting to panic in this new facility, and knowing I was most likely the first person to get out, they wrote letters and messages for me to send to their families.
It felt like we had all been kidnapped, thrown into some sort of sick psychological experiment meant to strip us of every ounce of strength and dignity.
We were from different countries, spoke different languages and practiced different religions. Yet, in this place, none of that mattered. Everyone took care of each other. Everyone shared food. Everyone held each other when someone broke down. Everyone fought to keep each other’s hope alive.
I got a message from Britt. My story had started to blow up in the media.
Almost immediately after, I was told I was being released.
My Ice agent, who had never spoken to me, told my lawyer I could have left sooner if I had signed a withdrawal form, and that they hadn’t known I would pay for my own flight home.
From the moment I arrived, I begged every officer I saw to let me pay for my own ticket home. Not a single one of them ever spoke to me about my case.
To put things into perspective: I had a Canadian passport, lawyers, resources, media attention, friends, family and even politicians advocating for me. Yet, I was still detained for nearly two weeks.
Imagine what this system is like for every other person in there.
A small group of us were transferred back to San Diego at 2am – one last road trip, once again shackled in chains. I was then taken to the airport, where two officers were waiting for me. The media was there, so the officers snuck me in through a side door, trying to avoid anyone seeing me in restraints. I was beyond grateful that, at the very least, I didn’t have to walk through the airport in chains.
To my surprise, the officers escorting me were incredibly kind, and even funny. It was the first time I had laughed in weeks.
I asked if I could put my shoelaces back on.
“Yes,” one of them said with a grin. “But you better not run.”
“Yeah,” the other added. “Or we’ll have to tackle you in the airport. That’ll really make the headlines.”
I laughed, then told them I had spent a lot of time observing the guards during my detention and I couldn’t believe how often I saw humans treating other humans with such disregard. “But don’t worry,” I joked. “You two get five stars.”
When I finally landed in Canada, my mom and two best friends were waiting for me. So was the media. I spoke to them briefly, numb and delusional from exhaustion.
It was surreal listening to my friends recount everything they had done to get me out: working with lawyers, reaching out to the media, making endless calls to detention centers, desperately trying to get through to Ice or anyone who could help. They said the entire system felt rigged, designed to make it nearly impossible for anyone to get out.
The reality became clear: Ice detention isn’t just a bureaucratic nightmare. It’s a business. These facilities are privately owned and run for profit.
Companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group receive government funding based on the number of people they detain, which is why they lobby for stricter immigration policies. It’s a lucrative business: CoreCivic made over $560m from Ice contracts in a single year. In 2024, GEO Group made more than $763m from Ice contracts.
The more detainees, the more money they make. It stands to reason that these companies have no incentive to release people quickly. What I h
