Izuku had a complicated relationship with Kirishima.

The teen was happily walking down the halls of U.A Academy, holding hands with the boy he'd always been ecstatic to remember was his; Katsuki Bakugou, who was currently smiling and laughing at a joke his best friend Kirishima said. The redhead was walking by Katsuki's left, keeping the blond sandwiched between them both as they made their way to their next class.

Kirishima transferred to U.A about three months prior, and was quick to gain the favor of their classmates due to his loud and cheery personality that made making friends seem like a walk in the park. In some ways, he reminded him of Katsuki—laid back, easy to get along with, and even relatively ‘nice.’

Which was exactly the reason he'd been on Izuku’s radar from the get-go.

Bradley Uppercrust III wasn't one to shy away from the spotlight.

This wasn't some grand revelation or anything of the sorts, just a simple fact. His family name carried the weight of prestige and expectations, which in turn meant he was always under scrutinizing observation from the masses.

Still, none of that compared to what he was witnessing at this very moment—a practice video for the X-Games recorded by Max in which he only appeared for a few seconds.

And the comments were... interesting, to say the least.

Your voice came out as a choked chuckle as you read the bold letters colored in pink with a border of red. Poorly edited PNGs of roses and hearts were plastered over the icon with Kinito himself having a bouquet attached to him.

Despite the initial shock, upon contemplating it further, it kinda makes sense. Kinito spends most of the game trying to befriend you so you can give him access to your computer, so having a ‘romance route’ wasn't that far fetched.

“Not like I've got anything better to do.” And so, you click away.

Who can participate?

Anyone who applies during the application period.

No previous experience.

No portfolio necessary. (Unless you want to be the cover artist.)

What types of mediums are allowed?

Anything that can be put into a PDF, which means no music or animation. (Although contributors are encouraged to turn their pieces into animations if they choose to outside of this project). Comics are okay.

Contributor Expectations:

English speaking: mandatory.

Discord attendance: mandatory.

Check-ins: optional.

Let a mod know you need to drop: required.

Final deadline: non-negotiable.

Portfolio Requirements

Only cover artists need a portfolio. For our cover we're looking for an artist who can draw Kenma in a way that best portrays Kenma in all his glory. We are open to a 棒冰 styled cover that heavily focuses on just Kenma.

Content Restrictions and Guidelines:

Canon Compliant—no AU's.

Anything not specified in canon is free game—as long as it does not contradict cannon.

All work must be focused on Kenma. Additional characters are fine.

Cats are highly recommended.

You can portray Kenma at any moment between the following life events: just born - his 30th birthday.

Please remember that you should follow cannon events, for example: The Nintendo switch did NOT come out when Kenma was in High School. Kenma's hair was not dyed UNTIL High School. Haikyuu takes place in 2012. Kenma was not start his youtube channel until College. etc. etc. etc.

The armored individual—SAM, based on what his colleague called him—hesitated for a moment before replying into his own earpiece with a hint of despair. “Kafka, we've got a problem. He's still here.”

Or, what if Caelus turned down the offer of the Express and stayed at Herta Space Station as a researcher, only for someone from his past to come by and pay him an unexpected visit.

Out of all the crazy things to come out of his friend's mouth, this one definitely took the cake.

As a Kieran stan, I just love showering this boy with all the love he deserves, especially if it's coming from the protagonists, hence this particular fic for the Holy Polly Exchange!

Which was what made visits from Yugi quite literally the highlight of his day.

Now THIS is a ship I haven't touched in a hot second—puzzleshipping was quite literally my yaoi awakening where I was like “wait, two boys can like each other too? :O” So it's got a very special place in my heart!
