just imagine being Nosramus, 800+ years of life, all you've wanted for so long was a family, someone to love, a child or children, a home. But no matter how hard you try or beg the gods or anything, nothing EVER happens, so you create a child (I wonder how they made the homunculus) a homunculus and try your best to take care of it and keep it alive but no matter what it never improves or grows, just sits there and suffers. Every day you hope to the gods that it'll get better but it doesn't so you kill it, maybe you were never meant to have a child? or a family? or anything. Perhaps it was your fault? maybe you did the ritual wrong? or hurt it in some way while making it? so you bottle it all up and pretend it doesn't bother you. Out of sight out of mind right?.

Now imagine them finally being able to get pregnant/make a child, 800 or 900+ years of nothingness, thinking your barren or just never meant to have a baby or family and you finally have a chance to not fuck it up to not lose it. Lets just stick with the idea that they get pregnant, every day that goes by the stress grows thinking "what if it goes wrong? what if I lose it? what if I hurt it? what'll do? maybe I'm not supposed to have a child?" even as its VERY clear they'll make it to term and be fine their still scared. Even as their bump grows and their back starts to ache. Finally after 9 months they have the child they always wanted, imagine how they would feel? you get that second chance that chance to care for someone and treat them well and spoil them a bit. I just want them to be happy bro.

so for fun I'm gonna detail some stuff about his family mainly the first a second batch of kids (yes him and his partners call the batches just for fun cause they have more than 4) this is not going into Edwin's husbands kids unless people want that but anyway.

So the first batch was born around a year after Edwin married his wife Elise (their t4t) basically Edwin married his wife and literally THE FIRST DAY they were married they were all ready trying for a baby as they are both kinky weirdo's and their also really horny. Edwin also just wanted a family cause he never got a chance to be raised by proper parents as he was raised by his two eldest sisters. They REALLY struggled to have kids and even with fertility meds nothing really worked that well, so one day after a party the three (yes Edwin's husband was there) went home drunk as shit and made the first batch.

The first batch ended up being triplets which was a welcome surprise and they didn't mind as both Edwin's wife and husband are quite rich and Edwin works as the town healer of sorts. Edwin didn't really mind being pregnant he actually kind of enjoyed it even though his back REALLY hurt and it was a bit harder to move around but he was pretty happy about it, even morning sickness didn't bother him that much. The only thing that actually got him kinda mad was when he lost some teeth, he basically walked up to his wife and husband and wet "guys is it normal to lose teeth?" they looked at him like he was a fucking ghost and just went "no?! no! that's not normal at all what's wrong with you?!" he was fine.

The second batch was a bit harder to handle, conception was easy no big deal. The issue was after they were born, it ended up being twins which wasn't the issue it was the fact that their daughter is neurodivergent (I think I spelled that wrong) which is in no way a big deal since both Edwin, his husband and his wife are as well, they were actually quite happy with it. The issue was the town/city they lived in, their daughter has both Autism, ADHD and Tourettes which thankfully wasn't severe but it was still an issue for allot of people, it was manageable when she was a baby or a toddler but once she got into school it was HARD, they had two school choices number 1 is a private school where all the people with round family trees go and the other was a private and heavily conservative Christian school. The private school wasn't the right choice since she got bullied and at the time was somewhat non verbal, it was hard for her to focus and got told to quiet down if she had any kind of tic in class.

The Christian private school was worse since neither Edwin or his wife were told what happened and their daughter became more and more quiet and depressed, she was treated like shit and since the school had dorms would spend a day or two there at a time. Eventually at around age 9 she was getting picked on and rather than just ignoring them she grabbed a bible and cracked the kid in the face with it.

Edwin got called and his only questions were 'why?' and 'did she win?' same goes for his wife and husband. Their daughter ended up getting expelled and Edwin just went "Ok we're getting you to another school, I don't care if I have to drive an hour and wake up at 6 am if it means your happy and safe and with your friends" so he ended up switching her schools to one FAR out of town around an hour away where another one of my OC'S kids go (him and said OC's kids had met before) Edwin's daughter was VERY happy, it wasn't just her thankfully but ALL of her siblings which made it allot easier.

ok there are so many of them I wanna talk about but I think I wanna talk about one of them named Edwin who is like the worlds goofiest goober.

So he is the youngest of 6, he was born in 2020 (if he was a funger character he'd have the dominating soul) all girls except for him, his parents kinda neglected him so his sisters (mainly the eldest) said fuck it and just left with him (there's a 10 year age gap between Edwin's eldest sister and him) so she ended up raising him, Edwin decided to take up cleric studies when he was around 15 and just stayed in a tour until he was around 25 when he finally left on a quest for knowledge.

For other facts Edwin is trans masc, he's also a demi-boy (he/they) and is pan and polyamorous, he has both a husband and a wife, his husband is trans masc and his wife is trans fem. He also did his own top surgery which was not a good idea cause it got infected but he thinks the scars look really metal and bad ass post infection so he prefers them that way (he's a metal head) how he did his on top surgery I have no idea he found away, he's cool.

He also has some weird shit, like his wife will ask him why his blood glows in the dark like glowstick fluid and he just says "Clerical stuff" he'll accidently have a tooth explode and just go "fucking clerical bullshit!" and then go heal himself.

in terms of appearance he's pretty average, he's slim (until he gets pregnant where he gets kinda soft) and somewhat muscular, around 5'3 maybe 5'3 and a half, his eyes are brown, he's got long fluffy semi curly black hair that reaches his lower back, he's got a few scars not counting his top surgery scars, mainly on his thighs from when he accidently stabbed himself with a fork and one on his back from a dog that bit him when he was 5.

And finally his personality he's a pretty kind and over all sweet person but he's also disgustingly smart, witty and quite the smart ass, he is also DISGUSTINGLY horny, if he finds someone hot he will flirt with them (as long as their legal) and if they say no then he stops. He's also equally comfortable wearing both a dress and a suit it just depends on how he feels when he needs to get fancy, he will commonly walk around shirtless cause he knows he's hot as shit and he won't let anyone stop him.

the reason I think their a mourning soul is because of the homunculus and how their probably quite lonely, I'd imagine that while they are a silly and goofy person, they might also be quite lonely after centuries with nobody to talk to (I do think they were at one point married to the old night but the relationship fell out) and I might as well use my own fic just for fun, but in the D'arcenki fic Nosramus buries the homunculus under the sun and they simply can't cry no matter how hard they try.
