My entry to Dinojam 4! Survive hell creek as a hatchling t.rex and grow through all 4 life stages. It's still very incomplete, but all the growth stages are there (you may need to cheat with keypad + or keypad enter to see them though) and there's a reasonably large map to explore
my goal was to get a hang of state trees, and it sorta kinda worked. mobs will attack or run from you depending on your level and enter an idle state if you get away
controls
awsd/arrow keys/controller direction pad for movement
space bar/controller A to attack
esc/pause break/controller start to pause
cheats:
keypad Enter: max food/water/health
Keypad + : advance level
made in Godot 4.3 and Aseperite

I've been working on my submission for #dinojam 4, it's way too ambitious again, but less too ambitious, so that's progress. The theme was "big versus small", so you start as a hatchling t.rex in hell-creek and have to climb the food chain. here's the sprite sheet I have made so far, inspired by the Ocean Jurassic park game for Amiga/dos
