Here’s a shitpost me and my gf came up with. We are proud of our beautiful creation and I’ll never see this episode the same again. 😂

Wade looks on helplessly as nurses scramble about the room, desperately trying to hook Peter up to a blood bag all while another pushes hard on his chest.

“Peter? Peter come on! Don’t do this Peter!” the doctor pleads

the heart monitor continues to whine in unison with the newborn in Wade’s shaking hands.

But he can’t hear any of it. It’s as if a bomb has gone off inside his head, and all the sound has been sucked from the room.

Peter’s body spasms as the doctor presses the defibrillator against him over and over. The color is draining from the world.

Suddenly Wade is snapped into reality again, as a nurse takes the squalling baby from his arms, the noise is crashing down all around him, he can’t take his eyes off Peter.

But nothing changes.

Slowly the doctors and nurses faces turn grey, and the clatter and bustling of hurried hands and equipment goes quiet. The oxygen mask comes off. The heart monitor wails on… Nobody moves.

….

“GASP”

The flat line spikes

Wade feels his legs stiffen and he nearly falls to the floor, but with every ounce of strength forces himself forward. Peter coughs. Eyes roll before he opens them wide. The scrambling of nurses begins again as he reaches for Wade. Who grasps hold of icy fingers in tight but trembling hands.

“It’s okay. You’re Okay.” Peter lets his head fall back on the table, breathing still labored, tears falling from his eyes.

“It’s okay.” Wade repeats as the oxygen mask is reapplied, kissing Peter’s finger tips over and over.

“Everything’s gonna be okay.”
