nirei's their sun. their precious baby. i don't see many people talking about how nirei's role ( nirei, himself ) serves as a vital factor in the story. he realizes and accepts where he's lacking and he's working on it all while being so ( extremely and helpfully ) supportive towards his friends. satoru-nii's pacing for his character is realistic, perfect, it's just right and it's a refreshing sight to see. ( because most anime plots nowadays does little to no justice to their own side characters )

GOD i want to see more of nirei's personal relationship with sakura / suo outside of their trio too. pls feed us satoru-nii.

I'm sorry, but rewatching season 1 of Wind Breaker, I again point to my post about nonverbal characters in the series and how they're treated by pointing out how Kanji points out how a nonverbal character like Kusumi is the one who is great at communicating in his group.

I LOVE THAT!!!

It's such a great example of how this series is so respectful to so many different groups of people that we have a completely nonverbal character known for his communication because communication can exist beyond spoken words.
