The life of someone
Living with a chronic disease
Is the life of someone
Almost always in pain
During weekdays and weekends
Workdays and holidays
Pain always comes first
It trumps your wants
It trumps your needs
It overshadows your plans
It overshadows your desires
As John Green said
That's the thing about pain
It demands to be felt

Today x Tomorrow
Today was really hard
I read for a while
I watched for a while
I cried for a while
I was in pain for a while
I was sick for a while
I learnt to live for a while
Hopefully tomorrow will be better
Hopefully, tomorrow will be less hard
Hopefully, tomorrow I'll live more
Hopefully, tomorrow, I'll be healthier
Hopefully, tomorrow will be tomorrow

If you are looking for the person whose life would end without you, then look somewhere else.
If you are looking for the person whose life never started without you, then look at me.

STAY WITH ME
Stay with me
Not because of my love
Or because of my good parts
Not because of my bright light
Or because of my nectar
Stay with me
Because of my ugly parts
And my rotten core
Stay with me
Because the parts you can see
The parts you can hear
The parts that at the end of the day
You find revolting
Do not make you heave
Do not crush your soul
Do not make you question
Love and humanity
Don't stay with me
Because my good parts are that good
Stay with me
Because my bad part are not that ugly
And they're parts you can stomach
After a long, hard day

I'm in pain
Always in pain
Sometimes physical
Sometimes emotional
Sometimes both
And I live
Within the margins of my pain
There, I find life
Love
Friendship
Sorrow
But always
It pulls me back
And I find myself
Knee-deep
Within my pain
Is this all there is?
Is pain always going to be central for me?
Or is my life
My love
My friendships
My sorrow
Big enough
To dwarf my pain
So far
It's rarely happened
But is there hope
That it will?
Or is my pain
Always going to be
My centre?

Success in your studies isn’t about cramming the night before or relying on last-minute luck; it’s about consistent effort and dedication. Every time you sit down to study, you’re investing in your future self. Remember, the small, daily efforts add up to something great. So, take a deep breath, organize your notes, and tackle each topic one step at a time. Your journey may be challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.
There will be days when motivation is low, and distractions seem endless. On those days, remind yourself why you started. Think about the goals you’re striving toward, the knowledge you’re gaining, and the growth you’re experiencing. You’re capable of more than you realize. Stay disciplined, take breaks when needed, and don’t forget to celebrate your progress, no matter how small. You’ve got this!

Barely taking a step forward
Just to be thrown back two steps backwards
Is it that bad trying to be independent
Secure
Responsible
Is it bad to wish it ends?
