This brief shot in #FordvsFerrari is pure cinematic genius. Driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale) wasn’t aloud to race LeMan the first year and as he listens to the race on the radio, the shadows of the race cars created by the light of the airplane pass him by as the sounds of the engines whirr through the airwaves. His desire to be at that race is very much in his realm and it’s shown so vividly on screen.
