The wait is over! XBox's Phil Spencer has finally given a response to the questions about the future of XBox, including their GamePass, Cloud, and Exclusivity!

On today's XBox Podcast, Phil informed us that XBox will have 4 games, each over 1 year old, going to other platforms. All other games will remain exclusives, including Starfield and Indiana Jones. Phil didn't update us on which games will be jumping platforms, but he stated that they are community driven games and the purpose is to reach as many players as possible. This is something I can completely agree with.

Phil went on to state that his focus is the long-term grown of XBox as a while and that they want to bring these 4 games to multiple platforms in order to help grow the franchises. I can agree with this statement and idea. Honestly, I think exclusives are great to bring more customers to your hardware...but overall, I don't agree with keeping former 3rd party games as console exclusives, such as the upcoming HELLBLADE 2.

The team made sure to tell viewers that their primary focus will remain on XBox (console and games), PC, and Cloud. The point of releasing these 4 games on XBox is in hopes to reach the biggest audience of players, while also sparking interest in XBox itself. Since GamePass will remain exclusive to XBox itself, all console and Windows PC owners can breathe a sigh of relief.

I agree with XBox's strategy of wanting to bring more cross-play, cross-progression, and cross-save to their games. I know that I am a huge fan of remote play services. If I can hop on my PlayStation from my vacation spot or visit with family, I'm all set. Same goes for if I have my PC...I can hit up my XBox content. I love being able to play on my iPad by connecting to my consoles, etc.

We even got an update on Activision Blizzard that puts Diablo IV on GamePass on March 28th. So with all of the updates, I wonder how XBox fans feel after weeks of discouragement and feeling betrayed by the XBox brand. Let me know what you think!

RE2 Remake | How to Get the Key Card and Red Jewel

Resident Evil 2 introduced me to survival horror and the Resident Evil Franchise. It was completely terrifying and thrilling. I absolutely loved playing this back in 1998! The remake is so amazing and I’m thrilled to be playing it again and recording it for my channel. It still gives me so much anxiety, dread, jump scares, and sense of accomplishment. I hope everyone enjoys the videos!

Can You Survive the Trip to the West Office | RE2 Remake

There’s just something about the terror you feel walking through the darkened Raccoon City Police Department. You can always hear zombies, or other mutated monsters, but you don’t always see them at first. The anxiety of walking around with barely any light, knowing something is going to jump out at you, but not knowing where or when, provides a constant thrill. I absolutely loved the original Resident Evil 2. 

It’s what started me on survival horror, and the Resident Evil franchise. I don’t even know how many hours my best friend and I spent playing this game on PlayStation after school and on weekends. It was completely different than anything we’d ever experienced before. I even had a nightmare after the first encounter with Lickers. lol Thanks, vivid imagination. 

Now, years later, I’m replaying the Resident Evil 2 Remake and it’s been such a thrill. It brings me back to 1998, sitting in my bestie’s converted attic, huddled around the tv and playing this new game. It marked the era of crossing from Nintendo games to a new form of gaming. An end to our childhood and a move to new and exciting gaming experiences.

We didn’t know the pixels and crude artistic forms we grew up with would grow into high definition and extremely realistic games. No matter how much I love all of the older retro games, including the original Resident Evil 2, I can’t help but love this one a little more. To have the experience of my childhood moved to a new, exciting and realistic looking experience is something I never thought would happen. 

I immediately got the game in 2019 and couldn’t wait to play. But I was also a bit leery because I remember how much it scared me when I was younger. The excitement and lingering fear as I popped the disc in was intense. I watched an entirely new game unfold before me, yet it was the same I played as a kid. I didn’t get to sit and play it consistently back then, but now I’m able to sit and enjoy the gameplay. I also get to make walkthroughs for my channel. 

Honestly, I hope most people check it out, mainly for the entertainment of it. 🎮

I absolutely loved the Resident Evil 4 Remake. I’ve literally played it 5 times and had to force myself to play another game. Lol

When they announced Separate Ways, I was elated. They did such a good job with the DLC remake as well. I loved seeing the game from Ada’s side. It helped to round out things in the main story so well.

While there are things that the original game had that were left out of the Remake, I rather enjoyed it. Both have greatness to them. I was hoping the Remake would show Leon running through the village as Ada came through the other gate like it did in the original, but either way, this was still such an awesome DLC.

I'm excited to announce that my website has launched! While it is brand new and still in development, I wanted to share it with everyone.

The website will contain some walkthroughs/tips/tricks for certain games, game reviews, articles for aspiring or current content creators, and pages with equipment, software, games, and collectibles that you can purchase. I know a lot of friends I've spoken to are enjoying having quick links to gamer-centric merchandise for holiday shopping.

Today is Veteran's Day.

Veterans have taken an oath to this country and signed away their own lives in service to our country. They have sacrificed their minds and bodies so that each and every one of us can enjoy the freedoms that we have today in the United States.

When we joined the military, we signed our life away. It meant that we were the protectors and defenders of this country and the Constitution of the United States of America. Some of my brothers and sisters lost their lives. Some, like me, have suffered from PTSD and other mental health issues. More have suffered physical health issues that have led to disabilities. We've seen the Wounded Warriors who have come home without a leg, or an arm, or whatever else happened to them.

The sad fact is that 22 Veterans a day take their own lives. The horrors they withstood during their time in service can't be explained, erased, or "cured". We sign our lives over to the United States of America when we join the military. We are no longer a single person, we are a unit. We are no longer free to do whatever we want, when we want or go wherever we want. Life isn't bad in the military, don't get me wrong. But we have to request time to go see our families or go on vacation in a way that is nothing like people do in civilian life. We have to get permission to go X amount of miles away from our duty station. Our lives are no longer our own. They belong to the United States of America.

Yet, when we come home from war or get discharged from the military, we are all a little lost, and we are all "forgotten". From fighting for disability to trying to get good medical care, Veterans suffer in many ways. We also have great lives with our family and friends. But lurking in the mind of every Veteran is the loss of this life they lived for years. Lurking in the mind of every Veteran is the memories of their service...good or bad. So remember, when you see a Veteran or if you know one, thank them for their service. They did something extraordinary for this country. They signed their lives away, knowing they could enjoy a life in service to this country, or that they could die for this country. Thank your Veterans, not just today, but every day.

Chosen One | Mortal Kombat 1 Story Mode Chapter 3

I am enjoying the story for this Mortal Kombat universe reboot. We get to see an entirely new timeline, having been rebuilt from the ground up. Will things turn out the same, or will history repeat itself?  

Knowing that things needed to change, Liu Kang rebuilt the universe. Will his work pay off, or are our champions and the other realms doomed to repeat the same mistakes? Chapter 3 takes us to Outworld as Earthrealm’s new defenders attend the first tournament in this new era.
