A Walk in the Rain at Dusk

I took a walk this evening through one of the most gorgeous perspectives of the world around me that I have witnessed in a long time. It felt like a date with myself - walking around my neighborhood glistening with rain and lit by the glowing sunset in the sky. Air pods in, playing my personal station and following where the music was taking me while I walked down the street with my cute outfit. My umbrella kept me perfectly dry through the random rainfall so that I was able to watch the water cascade from the sky, illuminated by sunset and then in the growing darkness the moon and streetlights. I quite honestly think it was the most romantic thing I have ever done with myself.

If you have the opportunity to take a walk in the rain at dusk - do it. Go on a long adventure through your neighborhood. Witness the world around you. Stop and watch the snails cross the wet sidewalk. Spin your umbrella so the rain shoots off in a spiral. Stop to take pictures of the moon. Listen to the crickets. Hop over puddles. Stop to watch the sky change colors. Smell the earth laughing. Enjoy the company of yourself with the world surrounding. Forget self-love, pursue self-ROMANCE.
