very understandable but what if the book is very thick as classics tend to be? it gets unwieldy after you pass the 700 page mark or so

That’s a very good point! But I don’t think I’ve actually read a physical book that thick yet. The only one on my shelf I can think of that fits that is 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami and I haven’t gotten to reading that one yet 😭

I don’t think I’d cope well with a big heavy book. I have pains in my arm from holding normal books so with a big one like that I’d probably have to bite the bullet and give up my smart looking card and go back to the good stuff of ebooks aha.

Im also weird in the sense that while I know I read better via ebooks if it’s literary fiction I’m reading I tend to try and read the physical book more often because it makes me feel smarter 😩😭
