wait wait wait. who are all your guys and where are they from. As in, are they all from the same story...? I know there's a hospital one, and there's some from a trace of memory(?), but i'm a little confused on everything else/the details (••;)

HI HI OK so right now there’s about three oc-centric stories I’m posting about uhh here’s a very quick rundown of them — if anyone’s interested I can make separate posts for each BUT

First is one that is technically NOT ocs. They’re from a book called A Trace of Memory by Keith Laumer, but it’s such a niche book, with little real character built into it outside of like … our main protagonist, Legion — as it’s all from his POV — and Foster, but he’s leaves halfway through and comes back at the very end so. eh. Idk

My headcanons, epilogue ideas, and designs are so off-base from the source material they may as well belong here ,, left is Legion, right is Foster !!

Secondly we have Sleep Well, Beast !! It’s follows Charlie and Arlo, two hospice patients trying to navigate their way through the end of the world — all the while being stuck in a maze-like hospital where everyone seems to be losing their minds. The entire story is just a spiral of things Getting Worse and the narrative is nothing if not doomed ,, but I promise I love them heehee

Then we have Grave Ground, a story me and a friend are working on that follows a brother (Benny), his sister (Ollie/Olive), and their divorced dads /silly but not entirely false (Barrett who tags along with Benny and Ollie on their journey, and Gabe, who serves as an ‘antagonist’ of sorts). It’s HARD on the found family themes and rich with gross zombies ,, left to right is Gabe, Ollie, Benny, and Barrett

Like I said uhh I’d be happy to make full posts going more in-depth for each if anyone’s interested !! But that’s a very basic rundown of The Goobers ,,

Oh um um humuna humuna no one ever asks me about my ocs my eyes are sparkling right now

Recently I’ve been thinking more about some characters I had in mind for a play I wanted to write! The title was “Sleep Well Beast” and it followed two medical patients as they try and navigate their way through the end of the world, all while being confined in the blank-white-walls of a hospital.

The two main characters were Charlie (who is, technically, the central protagonist) and Arlo (secondary protagonist). Their entire goal is to find their way to the ‘warden’s’ (directors) office to get the facility off lockdown so the two of them can see the sun one last time.

It’s a very very doomed narrative. No one is making it out alive, and that is made apparent to the audience straight from the beginning. These characters are tortured and literally cannot leave this place without losing themselves. It’s a story I’m honestly really proud of, and I still plan on doing something with it someday. But, for now, I’ve got some doodles. And I think that’ll do for the time being
