Female black widows can live up to 3 years but their male counterparts rarely live four months. Some tarantulas live upwards of 20 years. The longest lived spider was around 43 years old when she was cruelly assassinated by a parasitic wasp. Domestic rats have a lifespan comparable to female black widows. To put things into perspective, there are spiders that remember a pre-pandemic world but it is likely every rat on earth was born post-COVID. There could be a spider out there born when Reagan was in office.

Remember folks, the prolife party has cut off critical and necessary funding for research and development (that is about to crack the code to) developing an effective HIV vaccine.

They'll probably scream "well then you shouldn't have sex" completely ignoring the fact that

A) you can get HIV from more things than sex

B) people are infected with HIV due to rape

C) babies can be born with HIV if the pregnant person is also infected

D) just because you don't like sex and someone had sex doesn't mean they aren't worthy of help and Healthcare

But I guess those babies are such whores. They deserve to suffer for the rest of their lives.

Oh and also, funding for all Healthcare abroad has been cut/limited so treatment for people with HIV to prevent the manifestation of AIDS is also gone.

IN WHAT WAY, DOES PROVIDING HUMAN RIGHTS TO PEOPLE, ENABLE SOMEONE TO HAVE UNRESTRAINED ACCESS, TO YOUR BODY, FOR THEIR OWN USE?

None.

No one's life matters more than another's. If someone (or thing if it's a fetus/embryo) needs to use another person's body in order to sustain itself, then too fucking bad.

Someone dying of blood loss? Can't milk another person for blood to save their life.

Someone dying without a bone marrow transplant? Can't harvest that from someone to save their life.

Someone needs a kidney? Can't force someone to undergo surgery to take one out in order to save their life.

Someone needs any organ donation and a recently deceased body is available? Can't take those parts from a literal corpse unless that corpse signed off and CONSENTED to have you do so in life.

A fetus needs an entire person's body in order to feed itself at your expense? Too fucking bad. It's not entitled to anything.

You just use the "human rights" tag because you want to feel good about doing nothing. You are racist, sexist, misogynistic, and you are a violator of human rights.

The pro-choice worldview is inherently opposed to human rights. If you have to be something in addition to human (ie, conscious, of a certain age, able-bodied, wanted) to have rights, you do not have human rights. You have rights in accordance with certain accidents about yourself, which are all completely arbitrary.

Either all humans are people or humans do not inherently deserve rights.

No new news about Iran and Israel however Americans are freaking out after a effectively brain dead woman was forced to incubate her child even after she was dead. The baby is named Chance and was born at one pound and eleven ounces. Doctors suspected that he will have an extremely hard time keeping himself alive. The family is still stuck with the medical bills and a baby that will probably never have a normal life. That’s all for today

Religion has no place in education, science, healthcare, politics, or people's personal lives.

Prolifers will bitch and cry about how horrible and evil people are for dumping forced pregnancies and the subsequent fetus (or infant) in dumpsters.

They'll cry and scream about how evil and sick and barbaric the person is who just did that. They'll honk on and on about how they need to go to hell.

Never once in my goddamn life have I heard these people talk or even mention about the wellbeing or life of the person who was just forced to give birth and do this deed.

Not. Once.

Once you've done your duty of having been forced to breed, you don't matter. Your situation is irrelevant to the new thing that has all the love and adoration and mercy and blessings.

There's no talk about you. What happened to you? WHY were you led to put the fetus/newborn in the dumpster?

Once you've done your duty shitting out another unit, if you don't comply by their rules and standards to roll over and coddle the thing that undoubtedly just caused you so much pain and turmoil, you are a monster.

This isn't about babies. This isn't about whether or not it's ok to dump babies in dumpsters, this is about WHY.

WHY does this happen?

Pro-life conservatives shouldn’t get to go about talking about the beauty and delight that is being/caring for the disabled while simultaneously trying to rip benefits from those same disabled people and their caretakers.

Saw a post of pro-lifers bemoaning some dumbass ableist Reddit posts. They went on to say how amazing it is caring for the disabled, how disabled lives are as important as any other, how disabled people can find meaning and love and how caring for them is an act of love and important, all quite surface-level ‘we love the disabled, unlike those disgusting pro-aborts’.

And, like, yeah, it’s easy to say that shit. It’s easy to cry for the humanity of the disabled and get sympathy points for being anti-eugenics and anti-euthanasia. But you know what? Those same people voted for a man who wants to cut Medicaid and Medicare. Those same people vote for politicians who want to reduce funding for SNAP. Those same people, who say disabled lives matter, don’t fucking care about the disabled once it means having to be taxed to keep them alive.

So please, shut up with the performative bullshit. I’m sure you suuuuuper love and care for every disabled person you meet. But as soon as that disabled person needs medical care or food, oh well, not my tax money. Maybe a charity can help, I guess.

It’s super easy to say words, harder to put them to action.
