I’m dealing with exams season so that’s why I haven’t been around since MF November 😭😭 I will be coming back soon tho considering I do have English lit next sem so more reading and in general next sem is less hectic and heavy than the one I’m dealing with rn. I have exams up until Wednesday so after that I *should* be okay and finally start reading again :,))

It has been hard for me to talk about how what is going on with Israel and Palestine is affecting me personally, but I grew up in Gaza and most of my family still lives there. My father did not survive the bombings last week and I have not been able to contact my younger sister in days. I am try to being understanding that most people do not have personal connections to what is happening and therefore are justifying their silence, but is heartbreaking to see this misinformation being spread. What’s happening there is a genocide, not a war. It is not antisemitic to support Palestine, it’s not even antiemetic to criticise Israel. There is no grey area or neutrality regarding this, and it is so easy to find resources that will educate you on the subject. It is my people and my home being destroyed so I will never be silent about this, but I please urge everyone to get informed and start speaking up and finding ways they can help.

US citizens can call/email their local government officials asking for a ceasefire

Guys… I just finished love and other words by Christina Lauren right, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ENDING??? IM??? HUH??? SO MUCH HAPPENED??? I WAS BETWEEN SQUEALING INTO MY PILLOW AND THEN CRYING INTO MY PILLOW BY THE NEXT PAGE WHAT THE FUCK

I actually loved it though. I swear I could’ve finished the book in one day if I didn’t have school, cause I read the first 100 pages the same day I bought it. So uh- 9/10 made me cry the ending was not expected what the fuck lowkey the ending felt smooshed and rushed which is why it’s not a perfect 10 by it was so good what the fuck.

Alls I know about the Grishaverse is what I’ve read from the soc series, so idk if Leigh has explained how they keep track of time- but I do appreciate how the props people on Shadow and Bone didn’t have any regular-ass numbers or Roman numerals on Kaz’s watch. Little things like that can rly take you out of the world, and I appreciate the attention to detail. How tf you read this watch? What time is it?? Hell if I know
