I love the Clarinet. It's what I play at my school. You're amazing! i want to grow up to be like you, were doing a concert on dec 13 and i was wondering are concets realy as scary as my friends tell me?
Yay! I'm glad to meet a fellow clarinet player. I don't think concerts are scary. It's true that when you're playing in a group you feel pressure to do your best, pull your weight, and not let anyone down. My approach is that, all in all, concerts are the exciting time where we get to share our work!
In this way, I have a positive relationship with performing. I do get nervous (everyone does), and I do stress about making sure I'm playing my part, but overall it's mainly just an exciting time to share the work that my friends and I have been doing - and, most importantly, to express myself in ways that I normally cannot.
Good luck, practice your part up until then, and remember the performance will happen the way it needs to. Let me know how it goes!
Testing some new gear with Bach. This is the bass line of the 2 part invention No. 1. I really like the camera, but really don't like the shotgun mic that came with it, haha! 🤣🤣🤣 . . . . . . #musician #music #clarinet #classical #indy #indiana #bassclarinet #ericsalazar #ejsmusic #theclarinetguy #pereira3d #jsbach #bach (at Brownsburg, Indiana) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHGhQXQg4A1/?igshid=mm2v9actkj3c
I want to take a pause from my typical posts to bring to you an exciting announcement for a project I’ve been working on! Monsters & Melodies has become a huge passion of mine. It is an audio-only show where I and several of my friends use Dungeons & Dragons to tell stories that are set to music by local artists. The show airs on @wqrtfm on Saturdays at 4pm, but we are thrilled to announce that the show is now available as a podcast! Now, you can listen to our show on your favorite podcasting app anytime you want! I’d love for you to listen and let me know what you think. It's available on all major podcast apps like spotify, apple podcasts, etc! #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #rpg #ttrpg #tabletopgames #fantasy #tabletop #tabletoprpg #dndcharacter #dndmusic #rpgmusic #tabletopgaming #roleplay #podcast #podcasts #dndpodcast #MusicMonday https://www.instagram.com/p/CBvN_PdH2ZQ/?igshid=1g89kvdy09rpl

When I was a kid, I loved wrapping the hood of my sweatshirt around my mouth and pretending like I was a ninja. Never thought I'd be putting on a mask to go get food though! https://www.instagram.com/p/B_IWaBeAN-v/?igshid=1ises6z0phfz
Well, today is one of those days where I work at the computer all day... I'm happy to do it because today I'm taking steps towards producing two new albums by Indiana classical musicians. Yesterday though, I was so lucky to accidentally capture this dreamy clarinet improvisation with delay pedal.
Improv is always so funny to me, because I tell people that they need to improvise often because improvisation sometimes tells you what your feelings are through the music that you are creating. Who knew this was in me?
A recital I was really excited about this summer just got canceled 😭 Playing video game music today instead of the classical repertoire. This is Kamaro's Dance from Zelda: Majora's Mask!
