The teaser of the much awaited film "Kalank" is out and is generating quite a buzz online.

The films marks the entry of popular film maker Karan Johar into the historical genre. The film is directed by 2 States fame director Abhishek Varman.

The film has an ensemble cast of many big names including Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya ROy Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Kiara Advani and Kunal Khemu. The films teaser features the prominent cast and looks loaded with emotion, suggesting that the story is based on a historical canvas and is high on emotion and drama.

The film is creating quite a buzz as it marks the reunion of Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit after 22 years. This film is also close to Karan Johar's heart as has been said by the ace film maker in the past, as this script was the last in which his father Yash Johar had contributed.

The film is slated to release on 17th April,2019.
