Name: Principal Silverworth

Species: Silverfish

Description: Silverworth is a strict but fair silverfish who is the principal of Bugtown Elementary. Every morning when school starts, he is always on a watchful eye on any student who might be late, more specifically Cupant and Mugbug. Silverworth is also very motivated to talk about the “special way” he sees the world… well, if you’re a Grade-A specialist like him. Since silverfish are known to eat through books, Silverworth chews his way through the pages for any advanced knowledge.

Likes: sharing his vast knowledge about the world, doing his job, reading history books

Dislikes: his students arriving late for school, vandals who mess with his car, the school day getting disrupted

Name: Prof. Lucien

Species: Firefly

Description: Professor Lucien is a strict but fair firefly who is the most wisest bug in Bugtown. He also just so happens to be Cupant and Mugbug’s school teacher in Bugtown Elementary where he will punish any student who don’t turn in their homework. Lucien teaches his students math (such as aphid multiplying), science (mostly entomology and human behavior), history (when Bugtown was first discovered) and Social Insect Studies (Anthills, Beehives, Termite Mounds and even Hornets Nests).

Likes: doing science experiments, giving out surprise quizzes, reading

Dislikes: hooligans, his students arriving late to class, bad grades

Fun Fact: I based his personality from the Professor Lucien from the Cuphead books:

Name: Chauncey

Species: cockroach

Description: Chauncey is the most malevolent and mischievous member of the pack. With him being a creepy cockroach, Chauncey is more off-kilter and aesthetic than Sal or Ollie and can be shown to be zany and outrageous from time to time, seen when his eyes spin wildly. He can always give out a creepy chuckle and much prefer places that are deep and dark.

Likes: conducting an orchestra, creeping into dark places, rotten stuff

Dislikes: flypaper, clean stuff, Sal’s sarcasm

Name: Ollie

Species: Stinkbug

Description: Ollie is the most bashful member of the Pest Pack. He is so emotional that he only release his own stench whenever he’s startled or crying. His stench is so foul-smelling that every bug around him starts to run away gagging in an attempt to get some fresh air. This always happens when he’s hearing a sad story, even when Sal is lying. Ollie would sometimes participate on a feeding frenzy when he stumbles upon a vegetable garden along with Sal and Chauncey and other pests.

Likes: happy endings, joining a vegetable feeding frenzy, feeling comforted

Dislikes: hearing sad stories, other bugs saying that he stinks (either both literally and figuratively), getting shunned

Name: Sal

Species: Colorado Potato Beetle

Description: Sal is the rough and tumble leader of the Pest Pack. He is very manipulative as he once tricked the ant brothers by leaving them to tend Elder Beetle’s garden, only to instead eat the crops. Sal, due to being a potato beetle, is very well described as a greedy glutton who has a taste for vegetables, especially when they’re served as a salad. Sometimes, Sal is either annoyed or grouchy when his schemes don’t work out as he planned them to be. He really hates it when Ollie stinks up the place, sometimes literally.

Likes: vegetables served on a silver platter, money, horror movies, getting away with it

Dislikes: chemical insecticides, Ollie’s stinkbug stench, his plans failing, not getting away with it

Name: Rumor Honeybottoms

Species: Honeybee

Description: Rumor Honeybottoms is the grouchy queen bee of a hive that’s in the tree that’s above Bugtown. Rumor’s hive not only acts like a honey factory, but also acts like an office building for the local bug paper, the Honeycomb Herald. She is very mindful of what’s going on in her hive but tends to break into outbursts when something or someone disrupts everything in the hive. And when she catches that certain someone disrupting her workspace, Rumor will gladly put them on the front page.

Likes: her bees, doing business, being calm

Dislikes: her hive being disrupted, breaking into outbursts, not finding enough good stories to put on the paper

Carley Slicer is a seductive and very dangerous mantis criminal.

Personality: Carley has the ability to turn herself into a ghost mantis in order to steal possessions without leaving a trace. She recently fall for Charley and wants to be a member of the Butcher Bugs, but Charley always thinks that Carley would eat him and his gang, since he knew preying mantises always eat their victims head first. However, Carley just knew that Charley was just too likable to eat.

Likes: stealing stuff (whether they’re priceless or not), biting the heads off of her victims, Charley (her love interest)

Dislikes: pesticides (she hates the smell), being jarred up, humans (generally, as well)

Edgar Striker is the youngest and most childlike member of the gang.

Personality: Edgar is very cheery and playful, compared to Charley and Barley who are grumpy almost all the time. Sometimes, he can go along with Charley’s schemes, especially when they involve chasing after Bendy. On other occasions, he can feel sympathetic to anyone when his boss’s schemes get a bit too far.

Likes: sleeping on his own web, playing with his toy duck, making friends

Dislikes: being in the face of danger, seeing his fellow gangsters fighting or arguing, rolled up newspapers (his biggest fear)

Barley Fisher is the brash brawn of the gang.

Personality: Originally living amongst the bottom feeders of the pond he was born on, Barley is now a brute of a crayfish who will pick a fight to any-bug who gets into his way. But, like Charley, Barley can easily lose his temper and will aggressively pinch any other bug with his strong pincers. But other than that, he also acts like a voice of reason to Charley whenever his schemes get out of hand.

Likes: swimming, eating an algae salad, treasure

Dislikes: being called a “pond-scum”, breaking his pincers, being cooked (his greatest fear)

Charley Piper is the devious leader of the Butcher Bugs and Bendy’s arch rival.

Personality: Charley is one hot-tempered cricket you don’t want to mess with, unless if you’re a certain hornet who likes to play pranks. He claims to be the “brains” of the gang, even though his schemes sometimes don’t go as he planned them to be. Most of his schemes usually involve in attempting to get rid of Bendy, but they always failed miserably.

Likes: his gang, robbing stuff, playing the pipe

Dislikes: Bendy and his friends, being imprisoned, humans (generally)

King Locust is the Devil Hornet’s charismatic right hand bug (AKA, his self proclaimed “#1”)

Personality: King Locust is very vain in character, obsessing about being his boss’s “#1”. Sometimes, he tends to lose his patience whenever his game show contestants kept wasting his time. King Locust is also a great singer and dancer which he does a lot in his own game show.

Likes: Himself, his game show, being the Devil Hornet’s #1

Dislikes: receiving disappointment from his boss, losing his patience, getting all dirty and scuffed

The Devil Hornet is the most ruthless hornet to ever exist in the whole insect world.

Personality: he is the most evilest and vilest hornet who despite being an all powerful predator, the Devil Hornet is a loving father to his son, Bendy the Hornet. He even has a big ego that shows how much he loves to make other bug’s lives miserable and stealing their souls. But the Devil Hornet is also very thin skinned because Cupant has managed to escape from him many times.

Likes: scaring humans, torturing other bugs, stealing their souls

Dislikes: Cupant and his friends, Stickler (the bookworm), getting zapped by a bug zapper

Fleafie is a little flea who’s a good friend of the Ant Trio.

Personality: Fleafie is a good hearted flea who’s very kind with every friend he makes. He can be quite stubborn sometimes when he’s confronting some bully. He also loves his family so much that Fleafie can’t bear to be separated from them.

Likes: dogs and cats, his family, making friends

Dislikes: bullies, clouds of pesticides, getting stomped on

Bonus: In my crossover fanfic on Deviantart, Your Friend, The Flea, Fleafie is great friends with Courage the Cowardly Dog.
