Bluewire Records
Bluewire Records is a audio production startup based in Karachi Pakistan. They began in 2016 and that is when they came to us seeking some branding assistance. and that is when we stepped in!! 🙂
The client wanted a versatile logo (both Digital and Print- friendly) that portrayed exactly what they did without too many elements or looking too tacky.
Since then, they are one of our recurring…

Hey girls!
So the biggest struggle of our lives is getting our hair to look good. It’s no lie, Hair takes up one-third of our time and let’s accept it, NO DAY, is a good hair day.
So I am going to share some of the quickest and easiest hair cheats that I have discovered/ learned over time.
A couple of no heat styling ideas (the quickest EVER!!)
Bunning
A no-brainer. when you are short of time or your hair just decides to give you attitude, a messy bun is what you do. There are lots of messy bun ideas out there, you just gotta pick a favorite. I will share some of mine down below.
Braiding
Again, SO many ways you can braid your hair. They simply add variety to the everyday plain and simple looks. The easiest are the classic, French and fishtail. I could never get myself into doing a dutch, waterfall or 5-strand braids like that. my eyes squint, seriously.
Tricks for fuller Hair
Bump-its
*please correct me if they are called something else.* Bumpits or hair inserts. Yes. suitable for people with less or voluminous hair altogether; if you have flat, less-volumed hair, it adds volume and if you are blessed with thick voluminous hair, they help you style your hair in a more chic way
Hollow Dry Shampoo
Yup! Say hello. Worried about getting greasy hair and washing up every other day? Dry shampoo soaks up excess oil and adds volume and texture. My personal favorites are: Loreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Dry Shampoo
Batiste Instant Hair Refresh Dry Shampoo in Cherry
Batiste Instant Hair Refresh Dry Shampoo Plus- Divine Dark
IGK Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo- First Class
Mousse
Say bye bye to hair styling tools and embrace your real hair texture with hair mousse. Rock those locks or waves by crunching your hair a little while its wet. Take an egg sized amount of mousse on the palm of hair and work it all the way through your hair. My favorites are:
OUAI Soft Mousse Paul Mitchell Sculpting Foam Finesse Curl Defining Mousse Tresemme Thermal Creations Volumising Mousse
Let air dry
Oh yes! For once, try letting your hair air dry. your hair will feel/ look such that you will not regret having let it air dry. and think of all the time you would save on the styling.
Heat Protectant
If there is a need of heat styling, do NOT neglect heat protectant sprays. Just get the one that doesn not leave your hair looking all flat and sticky.
Paul Mitchell Heat Seal TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Protective Spray TRESemmé Expert Selection Heat Protection Spray, Keratin Smooth
Frizzy Hair!
Use products to tame
Among the products mentioned above plus any other that you feel comfortable using, Go ahead. Anybody with frizzy hair should NOT leave their hair at the mercy of air and atmosphere. Use hair taming products. your hair will thank you!
Finish with colder water
While everybody loves a good long warm shower, it is advisable that you finish you hair washing with cold water. it improves blood circulation around the scalp area. What it does more is that it prevents excessive hair breakage, prevents hair from moisture depriviation and leaves it looking all shiny and tamed.
SKIP heat styling
We all know its addictive. and we also know we cannot go our entire life without heat styling. But lets just skip it till its Absolute-f***king-ly necessary.
That’s all i have for now. hoping that this helps all those struggling with their hair looking good everyday.
Bro Tip: Keep hydrated. Your hair is 70% Water.

Have you ever liked the lip color your friend was wearing? But somehow, when you tried it on, it didn’t look the same. We have all been there.
We all have a different set of lips that look different under different makeup looks and lip colors. While it is true that all the lip colors that exist may not work out for you, the good news is that there are SOME lip colors that end up working for you, and some that work best for you; given that you wear them right.
I’ve heard a lot of people complaining that they are somehow unable to pull off bold colors like maroons, dark purples or neon pinks. According to them, it is either their complexion or their lip shape that is at fault.
I, of all people, possess thick lips and I always thought I could never wear dark colors on a normal day if I wanted to. But, Thankfully I have managed to find my way around.
Cover lips with foundation
For the days you wanna GLAM UP!
I’m sure you have heard almost every blogger/vlogger talk about this little trick. whilst you cover your entire face with foundation, you might as well do so to your lips. the lipstick pops out even more, looks more beautiful.
Use neutral shades
First!
I believe that is currently the new in. I see fashion and beauty magazines and the models don’t seem to wear crisp-edged lipsticks anymore.
If you are applying a dark color, try using a neutral shaded lip liner. Your lipstick will not look too sharp on the edges. Basically, it will be like a very smooth transition from your rest of the face to your lipstick. I have tried it and it actually looks magazine-beautiful.
Inside out ombre
One personal favorite.
Ombre effect is when you use a darker shade of lipstick on the outer corners and a slightly lighter shade in the center. This creates the illusion of your lips being plump and fuller.
But some people want their lips to look a little smaller/thinner.
The inside out ombre is the exact opposite. use a lighter shade on the outside, a darker shade on the inside. this makes your lips look smaller. Also, using this trick, you can play with completely natural shades and the on-lookers would think you have no lipstick on at all!
A quick tutorial:
Use a shade that is closest to your lip color. then apply a nice pink shade to the center of your lower lip. Apply just a little bit of lip balm on top. now watch the magic happen!
Accent/Contrast color
One common lipstick habit that I have seen among women is that they mostly have one favorite lip color that they wear and carry everywhere. There is nothing wrong with that. Except that you become so used to that one shade that you start looking monotonous in every outfit or occasion.
Now What?
One simple trick to wearing a color that transforms you is looking for colors in your outfit only. But try not to go with the dominant color. Instead, try to look for an accent color. For example, whatever outfit you are wearing, look for the color that is least visible and/or hardly present yet, lifting up the look of your dress. If you are wearing a floral print, look for a color that is there in a very small amount. You use that very color on your lips. You will not regret what you see in the mirror afterwards.
Note: this does not go for weird avant-garde shades (blues, blacks, greens, neons).
Another trick is, looking for a contrast color. If your outfit is say, orange, then don’t paint your lips orange too. The final look would be really flat. Instead, wear a light brown, nude or a red. It would instantly lift the whole look.
Stick to the palette
Like all good makeup gurus would suggest, that while you are experimenting with lip colors to look glamorous, you have to find the line between the colors that belong to the palette and the one s that don’t. The process is:
1. you pick your outfit.
2. you do your eyes and rest of the makeup.
3. Lipstick.
You match your makeup to your dress and your overall look. The trick here is to pick about 3-5 colors from your outfit, base your entire makeup on it and decide on the most attractive color of the palette to be your lipstick shade.
For example, if you are wearing a combination of pink and aqua blue, then obviously you would go for a subtle eye look. but imagine what would happen if the lipstick color ends up being purple or red? I don’t know about nice, it definitely would not look right.
The right shades: Pastel pink, dark pink, magenta.
Know what time of day it is
Makeup looks and lipsticks depend hugely upon the time of the day. In a nutshell, if it is day time, you go subtle and dreamy. If it is night time, you go bold and sexy. It’s that simple.
Shiny Cupid’s bow
Keep a colorless lip balm on you. apply slightly above the outline of your upper lip. Done.
That is a wrap of the lip cheats from me. Let me know what you tried and how it worked out for you. C ya!
Bro Tip: Tired skin? Start eating oranges.

How to Pack Effectively
Wow! It has sure been long since I shared anything with you guys! Anyway, I have tons of things to throw your way and this time I’m going to talk about how to pack your luggage effectively, or how I like to do it.
As girls and as “over-excited over a trip” girls, we always end up packing tons of stuff we wouldn’t even need when we actually get there. Besides, there are more clothing pieces of…

5 Food ingredients that SHOULD be in your makeup Closet
Hey Readers,
Our closets are usually loaded with heaps of cosmetics and toiletries, but let’s be honest, who doesn’t like quick fixes? Or something that saves you some money? Or merely something that acts as a cosmetic but also does wonders to your skin?

Honestly, no one ever packs their bags and fly to a random destination just like that. We all like to our homework before investing a little fortune on a trip. I mean, who wants to end up somewhere totally uncomfortable and ruin the trip, mood and memory altogether?
There are  good reasons as to why people like to travel to places like Barcelona, Switzerland, Hawaii , Paris, Istanbul or Bangkok. Sure, there’s the basic stuff, like the beauty, culture and nightlife; but let’s look at the bigger picture here, WHY exactly are those places famous for what they are? WHAT makes these places good to travel towards? Let’s take a look.
Its people
If a place on earth is aesthetically beautiful, the appeal automatically multiplies by infinity if the people are warm and welcoming. Imagine you are new to place and your are lost, you try asking for help but all you get is frowns and zilch amount of assistance? MAJOR LETDOWN right? Gives me shudders to even think about it. On the contrary, what if someone actually misses their train just to help you out? (Personal experience btw). Wouldn’t that just melt your heart? Wouldn’t you instantly fall in love with the place?
Its novelties
Whirling dervishes perform at the Galata Mevlevihane (The Lodge of the Dervishes) in Istanbul. The dervishes are adepts of Sufism, a mystical form of Islam that preaches tolerance and a search for understanding. Those who whirl, like planets around the sun, turn dance into a form of prayer. (Gurcan Ozturk/Getty Images)
Oh 100% true. Like the word implies, novelties are what make a place different than the rest (DUHH!). Almost every country in the world has a certain set of special assets in store for curious travelers. People often travel JUST to check out the novelties a certain city/country is generally proud of. Well, I’d be a little suspicious if someone said this wasn’t true. It’s either for the sake of research or simply a guilty pleasure of most travelers. Anyhoo, Novelties may hold different meaning and/or degrees of importance to different people. For some people, it may mean trying almost all kinds of food the place has to offer, for other it may mean seeing their traditional dance shows.
Language
The most fascinating thing about being in a strange city is the language. The way the natives communicate with each other is even more interesting. Every avid traveler has this crazy bubble of curiosity inside of them, which pushes them into learning the new language, at least to the extent of being able to make the natives understand if they are not familiar with English language. And I wouldn’t lie, it’s exciting. It’s fun. The crazy bubble has already made me learn 3 additional languages; I am not a pro yet, but what the heck?
Architecture
Sounds pretty obvious eh? But really. The architecture tells a lot about a city and its life in general. You can easily tell if a city is historical or modern, safe or unsafe, economically sound or in crisis, financially sound or not, clean or not just by looking at its architecture. It doesn’t take dozens of landmarks and a fancy skyline to tell you all that. And honestly, you want to travel to a place where you can absorb beauty from every inch of every corner. It’s not quite healthy to take all the trouble of travelling and end up in a dirty, broken city with only a few old, not-handled-with-care landmarks scattered in different parts of the city. Nope. Nopedy Nope.
Food
THE ABSOLUTE HOLY GRAIL. Food is a major (in most cases, the ONLY) excitement when you are travelling to a new place. Some people do their research on food before they land in their destination, some people go totally brave and spontaneous and try everything they possibly can. Personally, I am a little of both kinds. I like to look up traditional dishes and familiarize with their names so that I can easily order when I get there, and yet, sometimes I try things I never imagine myself eating.
The nightlife
The nightlife of any city is the real kick. Every person is on a budget when they plan a trip so they want to enjoy as much as they can while it lasts. Secondly, the days become strangely long when you are on a holiday and you are always looking for something fun to do. Naturally, about 70% of your vacation plan stands on how the nightlife is. If the city becomes an unsafe doom’s pit after 7, it’s a major mood-killer. Moreover, you look at a city with a completely different eye at night. The peace and tranquility after the day is over, the glowing buildings standing tall, facing the sky look just ethereal. You don’t want to miss it for the world…
Law and order situation
This has nothing to do with the fun side of a vacation but it is important nonetheless. The tourism industry is strongly affected by the law and order situation of a country. I mean, no tourist in the right mind would want to get mugged, pick-pocketed, stalked or shot in the leg for that matter. If you don’t have that peace of mind during your vacation, its pointless. There is a reason why most people pick Dubai for vacation above all other places, the security provided by police is insane. Women can wander along the streets at 3 in the morning with absolute-fu***ing-ly nothing to worry about. If I was given a choice between Bangkok and Dubai, I’d choose Dubai, hands down; even it would be a gazillion times more expensive.
So where are you headed this holiday? Where ever you go, I am sure you will make the most of your trip!
PEACE OUT! :)
Things that make any country a good place to travel Honestly, no one ever packs their bags and fly to a random destination just like that. We all like to our homework before investing a little fortune on a trip.
