Unfortunately, due to bad life events, I’ve had to put my campaign on hold until I’m in a better headspace. Pickette Larson, a fifteen year old from District 7, was a bullied outcast. Her bullies giggles and snickered when she was revealed to have been voted into the Games.

She was bullied relentlessly in training, but managed to make a single friend and ally. The Careers made it a point to kill said ally in front of her in the bloodbath.

Pickette snapped. Years of torment and abuse from her peers and literally everyone around her had finally taken its toll. Pickette picked up an axe and butchered the other tributes, breaking the record for most kills in the arena and being one of only two tributes to kill all of the Careers.

However, this is not what Pickette is remembered for. She never forgot what her own home did to her. She remembered the way her bullies snickered as she walked to her death. She went to the lumberyard where most of them worked and killed eight people before the Peacekeepers were forced to shoot her dead.

To this day, a tribute who snaps and goes on a killing spree is said to be going Pickette. The killings in Seven and subsequent loss of a Victor rattled the nation and the Head Gamemaker and Seven’s mayor, along with several others were executed.

This is not meant to be aligned with my own fic, I just want to see the general headcanons
