Sans x GN!Reader (VENT)

I couldn't even begin to tell what happened in the time I've spent locked up in my room. One moment I lock myself in here, the next I hear Papyrus scuffling around trying to find things to coax me out, though in the end it never really matters. I'm just taking up space, sure, I act happy and I make sure everyone has a smile on their faces but I know deep down none of them REALLY like me. Undyne would kill me if she could, I'm sure of that. Alphys is just lonely and wanted someone to talk to. Mettaton wants me dead if it would get his ratings up. Asgore probably doesn't care, he's just polite. And Toriel abandoned me after I left, hell she probably doesn't even know how far I've made it. I felt tears prick at my eyes and begin rolling down my cheeks as I clutch myself tight into a ball just letting the sobs out, I could tell Papyrus heard it from outside the door due to his rambling and scuffling coming to a stop once I started crying. But of course, like with most areas, a certain someone always finds a way back into my room.

"Heya, y/n, Paps told me you were feelin' a little down in the dumps. What's up?" Sans. It was always Sans who found his way past my door. I already knew the answer, but in a mild irritation I asked anyways.

"How the hell did you get in..?" Like usual he shrugged and gave me the exact same answer he always did.

"Found a shortcut. Anyways, what's up with ya? You look.. Not the best." His voice was as calm and relaxed as ever, but in his eyelights I saw something else... Compassion, maybe? Doesn't matter, I know he only tolerates me because his brother likes me, and even then, Papyrus is just naive. I buried my face back into my legs before feeling my bed shift and a hand on my shoulder, looking up I saw Sans next to me, keeping his eyes on the floor as he sighed.

"Listen, y/n, I get feeling alone and feeling like you're the only one who can fix you and allat jazz, but I can't help ya unless you tell me what's on your mind, Paps is worried sick about ya all cooped up in here." His words were so honest and so calm, I looked at his expression, and despite the grin still plastered on his skull his eyelights were.. Sad? I leaned into him a little bit, allowing him to wrap an arm around me and pull me into a side cuddle. If skeletons could blush I'm sure he'd be red as all hell right now... Or blue? Whatever the case. I sniffled back another sob as I sighed in defeat.

"I just... feel so alone down here. Being the only human here and knowing everything that sees me wants to attack me is just so jarring... I feel so outcast and so unlikable down here. I mean hell, Undyne probably wants me dead when I'm not around, Alphys was just lonely when she met me, rarely texts anymore.. Mettaton WOULD kill me if it kept his ratings from dropping, Asgore's just polite and probably just wants to spare my feelings, Toriel never called or texted back after I left and... I was certain you only tolerated me because Papyrus likes me..." I sobbed again, this time turning over and sobbing into Sans' chest. I couldn't see his face, but I could tell from the shift in his energy that he was dumbfounded, his usually slouched posture straightened as he gripped my shoulders gently and pulled me to meet his eyelights.

"Listen to me, y/n, you're not unlikable. I understand that being put in a place you ain't familiar with is beyond jarring but trust me, everyone you've made happy likes you, hell maybe even loves you if they see ya as family. Undyne's just rough and angry most of the time, Alphys is... Busy when she ain't around, Asgore's polite to everybody and if he didn't like ya, you wouldn't be here right now. Tori's still around, I just haven't told her about you yet, and Mettaton had a blast with ya on his last broadcast. As for me, of course I like ya, y/n, with or without Paps' approval you're a good person. I saw it when I judged you, you had done no wrong, and I could see that all you wanted was to make people happy and do the right thing. That's hella likable if ya ask me."

I listened with a shocked expression, did he mean it? I looked into his eyelights again and saw nothing but honesty and... Love? Kindness is probably a better word. I smiled at him and layed my head on his chest, hearing the soft hum of his SOUL pulsing lowly and softly, lulling me asleep.

I don't exactly have much of a story to tell for my Tumblr Blog name tbh, I just named it "TheFoxCorner" because, well, my IRL preferred name is Fox, and I like to write fanfics for people, and ig I kinda took some inspo from those dingy little "Reading Corners" that old Elementary schools used to have, so I took my name and mixed with that to make Thefoxcorner. And poof that became my Tumblr and I never changed it since I made it lmao

For my name it was a nickname I was giving back in middleschool! One of our teacher had a system where we worked with 'wifi' eachtime we talked in class we lost a bar of the "wifi" (was a weird joke and we never held count on that) All the kids usually joked if they needed 'wifi' , they would borrow mine if they wanted to talk more. (I was incredibly shy in middle school, I only talked to like 3 people at school;^;)

They called me Ms. Wifi because of that. I just thought it would be funny if I put 'miss' instead of 'ms' because of my terrible actual wifi connection I have at home lol.
