If the Wheel of Fortune card was a food, it would be pizza, hands down and not just because of the shape.
Pizza is about variety, different toppings, crusts.
It's offering you endless combos. The Wheel of fortune is about taking all the bits and bobs and bringing them together, entering a cycle, finding change, the act of rolling with whatever life serves up ( get it (a).
Sometimes you're on top of the wheel (with thos crispy little pepperoni boats of grease) and sometimes you're under it (with anchovies and mushrooms). The point is, we're along for the ride, unpredictably and all.

let’s compare tarot cards to movie characters
If you know me, you know I’m a huge Kevin smith fan. Not just the Jay and silent Bob franchise but the entire View Askewniverse. So there’s no better place to start than with my favorite hetero life mates, Jay and Silent Bob 🙌
Jay ( The Fool) he’s impulsive, carefree and not just getting into wild situations but usually the start of them haha. This card represents spontenaity, a sense of adventure with a dash of naivety, Jay in a nutshell
SIlent Bob ( Ther Hermit) on the other hand Silent Bob is quiet ( get it) introspective, and surprisingly wise. This is a card of inner wisdom ( insert chasing Amy) and moments of reflection. The perfect card imo for a guy that doesn’t talk much but when he does, you better listen.

The Wizards Tarot
by Wizards Of Barge
Shufflability 💙💙💙💙/5
( easy but slippery)
Artwork 💙💙💙💙/5
( Fun reimagined the cards don’t always immediately click but it’s a vibe none the less)
Suitable for beginners 💙💙/5
(Reimagined suits, artwork that doesn’t directly depict traditional RWS and no guidebook make this deck hard for beginners to pick up without strong previous knowledge)
Overall Grunge witch rating 💙💙💙💙

MARCH TAROT SPREAD
There were so many energetic options to pick from when deciding what to theme the spread of the month for but I landed on growth and prosperity
[MARCH PROMPTS]
1. The seeds I am planting to attract new opportunities and abundance
2. The nutrients my seeds are asking for to grow and thrive
3. The "weeds" I need to prune from my life that have been blocking my intuition
4. Little signs my garden is blooming

My go to week ahead spread
Every Monday I like to sit down an pull a few cards to look at the energy ahead of me. Truthfully I’m a spread girlie , I can pull cards without a spread and often do for clients but for me personally I like the structure of a spread when journaling. This is my go to:
6 card spread
1. Theme of the week
2. Love
3. Money
4. Physical ( this isn’t medical it’s simply what is my body asking of me this week)
5. Work
6. Spirit ( my practice)
If you’re keeping a journal don’t forget to go back and look at it the next week, connect the dots

SELF LOVE SIMMER POT/ TEA
Gonna be totally honest with you babes, no measurement. It’s cliche but measure with your heart 🖤
To a pot of hot water add:
Rose hips for love, healing and peace
Rose petals for love, truth and confidence
Red rooibios tea to connect with your heart
A splash of vanilla to encourage you to open your heart to self love
Being to a boil, stir clockwise calling this energy in and then reduce to a simmer
Hold your hands over top and imagine
Your heart warming
Your space softening
Love growing-
From the inside out
From here you can let it cook down and then spread what remains at the threshold to your home encouraging this same energy to enter your space
Or for an extra inside out punch you can strain and drink as a tea (make sure to use food grade ingredients)

How working as a professional psychic taught me confidence and regulation of ego:
Once upon a time I owned a yoga company, I worked full time traveling in and out of state teaching yoga mainly to children but also adults. I had built my business from the ground up as just as teenager and I was successful. I’m not saying that to gloat, simply setting the scene.
Because despite all that I was fearful. Fearful of other instructors stealing the games I created or the music I used, fearful that if I taught someone else, they would replace me.
It held me back. It left me in stagnation.
Fast forward to today, where I work as a professional psychic and tarot reader. And yet again I was met with the dilemma of how much sharing is too much sharing.
What’s interesting is that this time I had witchcraft to balance me out. I had an understanding of protection vs education.
I came to realize that tarot is my tool, the spreads are a tool, the spells are a tool .. and although anyone can pick those up and use them… they are not me.
Sounds cocky right?
This is where ego regulation came in, I had to learn confidence in my practice while also recognizing that I am a forever student. Is there always something changing in my practice? No, but none the less I am learning. I am learning to build community, to seek advice, to share information, to find confidence in what I have already established.
Insert death, my greatest teacher in the lesson that is .. you must live life, not the other way around.

Death- keeper of endings and beginnings
I thank you for the balance you bring
For reminding me to live fully and fearlessly
Ancestors, I feel your strength and wisdom in my bones
Your stories guide me
Your love protects me
Thank you for walking with me
Through you, I grow and transform

Hi I’m Zoë - a witch, tarot reader, psychic and content creator who believe in the power of magick that’s a little rough around the edges.
I call my practice grunge magick, inspired by the raw energy of the grunge music movement starting in the 80’s. Just like that gritty, imperfect sound that defined a generation, my witchcraft is durable, work and unapologetically messy.
The main focus of my practice is spirit communication, folk traditions, and death work All rooted in a very down to earth, real world approach.
I was raised Roman Catholic with parents that acknowledged magick and family members clari abilities but it wasn’t something you explored further than acknowledgment. I was often left with more questions than answers. So I sought ownership and purpose.
Grunge magick is all about finding beauty in the imperfect, about creating magick from the messiness of life ( and trust me my life is messy). It’s not about having everything figured out or polished; it’s about showing up, being real, and letting the magick flow through whatever life hands me. The tools may be worn, the rituals might get messy, but it’s got purpose.
I’m not sure how I’ll use this space or what I’m looking to do next but this felt like a good start.
