It feels as if someone dug a hand inside of him and pulled all of his vital organs out, leaving nothing but an empty shell. He sinks to his knees in the middle of his living room, he knows he’s not breathing, he can’t breathe, the birds are chirping outside his window as if nothing is wrong, and Remus can’t breathe. He doesn’t want to. Not anymore.

Wish I was joking but that’s all I had when I started. I think eventually around third year when I had to do time turner calculations I made an excel sheet for my timelines and notes and todo plot points etc but when I sat down with blind rage and a desire for a HEA this is all I had. I found it recently when I cleaned out the draws next to my desk. It is the back of an envelope.

I absolutely adore this story! Sirius is frustrating and a little hard to watch at times but I highly suggest giving it a read. Post prank Sirius finds himself completely rejected by his friends and goes to stay with Regulus.

The fic does get pretty into drug use and the affect it has on the people around you, if that is a difficult thing to read I would skip this one <3

Favorite part:

“Is all this a fucking joke to you, Sirius? Some kind of revenge? You stabbed me in the back, and now you’re trying to twist the knife?”

...Sirius didn’t know what to do, or what to say, feeling locked in place by Remus like a trapped animal. He started shaking his head, but there was an arm circling his waist tightly as Barty’s other one went to Remus’s chest to push him backwards.

“Talk to him like that again, and I will personally rip your tongue out and shove it down your throat while you’re sleeping.” Barty’s voice was calm, almost bordering on bored...
