We Are The Medicine Documentary Film Screening
Grateful to witness and be able to support the work-in-progress screening of ‘We Are The Medicine’ Telling a story of healing through the lens of hip hop culture. @radiokismet @awondrousmind @realsway @theestebanserrano @strokes_for_the_folks thanks for the #love wearing my custom #handpainted #tshirt #theroncookart @eblackstl @deran32 and many others have come together to curate a deeply vulnerable documentary to help illuminate their healing experiences with medicine and how the medicine movements have impacted BIPOC communities..
The pre-screening film event we attended left an indelible mark, urging us not to quit but to persevere. Amidst the anticipation and nerves, there was a notable moment when one of the panelists received his shirt adorned with a captivating and original drawing. Crafted by us but inspired by the themes of the pre-screen film, which explored the contrast between conventional medicine and natural remedies. Upon closer inspection, the drawing on the shirt encapsulated a mix of emotions, mirroring the complexities of this debate—hope in medical advances, resilience in the face of illness, and the inherent power of nature's healing properties. It served as a poignant reminder that even amidst this ongoing discourse, there's strength to be found in exploring diverse approaches to wellness, and giving up is never the answer. The event not only left us inspired but also instilled a newfound determination to navigate life's health challenges with courage and an open mind, thanks to the thought-provoking message conveyed by the film.

Canvas of Connection: The Rat Park Mural and Addiction Insights
A captivating mural stands as a tribute to the Rat Park experiments, embodying the groundbreaking research of American psychologist Dr. Bruce Alexander. Inspired by Alexander's seminal work in the 1970s, the mural vividly captures how rats in socially enriched environments favored plain water over drug-laced alternatives—a stark departure from the addiction patterns observed in isolated cage settings. This artistic endeavor, proudly hosted by Recovery Coaching Services, Inc., beautifully portrays the transformative power of social connection on addiction, advocating for a compassionate shift in treatment paradigms that prioritize human interaction. Dr. Sederer underscores the significance of clinicians embracing patients' social contexts and relationships, echoing the mural's message of empathy and understanding as integral to effective treatment and recovery.

February Is For Exploring Emotions
Diving in and focusing in on how brands express love through visuals.
Heartfelt Imagery: Brands can use visuals that contain heart symbols or heart-shaped objects to evoke feelings of love and affection. This can be in the form of illustrations, graphics, or even product packaging designs. Also Emotional Storytelling: Brands can create visual narratives that tell heartwarming stories or depict moments of love and connection. Lastly a Romantic Color Palette: By incorporating colors commonly associated with love, such as shades of pink, red, and pastels, brands can convey emotions of love and tenderness. This can be applied to logos, website designs, social media posts, or even product aesthetics. See example below. To learn more about how brands express love through visuals check out our instagram!

Color Psychology: What Colors Communicate?
It's fascinating how colors can have a profound impact on our emotions, behavior, and perceptions. Color psychology delves into this phenomenon, revealing how different hues can evoke specific feelings. For instance, red might excite passion and enthusiasm, but it can also trigger aggression and danger. In contrast, blue may calm us down and foster trust, but it can also induce sadness and coldness. These color associations can be instrumental in designing, marketing, and branding, but it's crucial to acknowledge that individual personality and cultural background can affect how one perceives colors. Understanding the nuances of color psychology can help you create a powerful connection with your intended audience and achieve your marketing objectives.
