It seems obvious that this season will be leaning heavily into the EVO series and the related watcher lore WHICH IS CRAZY BC I DONT THINK GRIAN REALLY EVER ACKNOWLEDGES IT!! This is obviously because of the purple eye literally “watching” at the end of the teaser lmao (a symbol used in relation to grian in fanart of his watcher form)

We also see three hearts convulsing into a clock moving backwards ooh o.O

I think this could either make the gimmick that, similar to the evo series, this season will have the version of Minecraft they’re playing on gradually get older, though this seems practically unlikely

With the hearts in the beginning of the animation being arranged from red (near death) to green (not near death 🔥) as per typical reading order and of animation I could imagine this means that as time passes players regain their lives and thus killing in rapid succession becomes important!

Either way the importance of the watcher should be addressed, because even though it seems possible it will only be relevant to the lore I could also see this at hinting that grian will be formally reassuming the role of the watcher and not traditionally participate in this season? Or there’s some kind of other gimmick to it idk lol

Anyway I’m so excited for this season cause this is the coolest announcement for a life series yet and it’s gonna be released over break and it’s been teased for SO LONG idfk how I held myself together so long haha

The disabled people who won’t be able to access treatment, all the people who will lose access to food, why do their lives not matter to you? What gives you the right to condemn them?

You mean the ordinary people caught in the crossfire of capitalist exploitation and murder? The at least nine million impoverished victims of bourgeois ambition who starve to death every year? I’m not the capitalist who is doing everything in his power to surprise the working class. I and 99% of any capitalist country’s population is on the other side of this class divide. Fair question. Nobody should have to die, but I accept that they most certainly will and I am okay with that. Communism is not my ideal society, it is anyone’s ideal society. But back to the death part, first off, I think it’s fair that I willingly stake my life for what is objectively the only fair and efficient ideology. Second off, how much mercy does the bourgeoisie deserve? Are they not those who have for centuries enslaved and murdered for their personal, disgusting gain? I am all for education and rehabilitation, but not at the expense of freedom for all working people of the world :3

Right, fair enough lol. I think the conditions under which the subject revolution was to occur dictate the specific measures needed to ensure its long term success. Any learned Marxist would be well equipped to identify these measures. I’ll use the Soviet Union as an example, the main issue being easily identifiable: Stalin. I’m not going to go into any unnecessary specifics over my personal views on the man, but his application of Marxism-Leninism objectively differed from how Lenin would have had it continue. His cult of personality and party structure centred around him were what led to the iconic “authoritarianism” of that era of Soviet history. This could be avoided in the future by ensuring the publicity of the vanguard party by having it open to any ideological loyalist, or practically anyone who partook in the revolution. Lenin was great, but his revolution being so dependent on his personal leadership is what led to the power vacuum upon his death instead of the power already fully in the hands of the internally Democratic Party. Therefor the perfect revolution cannot be led by a single person, but the culture surrounding it must be one of equal responsibility for the communist future. This is certainly easier to achieve in future struggles than in Russia at the time since there are more capable people who are well read in communism as not to require the guidance of a sole example of communist literacy and ability. There is nothing undemocratic about revolution, the only betrayal to democracy present is that of the bourgeoise through their manipulation of the fundamentally good practise!

Just as a general rule if you can't answer a fairly reasonable question to ask about your political views (and yes "if you're so sure revolution is the only way forward, how will you ensure it doesn't go horrifically wrong like too many revolutions have in the past?" is a reasonable question) without acting like the asker is an idiot and/or "liberal" for even wondering about that... you need to put more thought into your political ideology cause either you don't understand it yourself or you think having the Objectively Correct Views gives you free reign to be an asshole

I definitely understand where you’re coming from, and who the fuck wouldn’t want a peaceful transition out of our capitalist hellscape? But what any true socialist needs to accept is that to entirely dismantle the imperialist world and replace it with any socialist/anarchist whatever post-capitalist society we need to be ready to engage in righteous violence. Sure, a liberal nation-wide protest could almost certainly bring forth perhaps different laws on the lgbtqia+ community, but I don’t think the bourgeoise will give all they have up quite that easily. My point is less so that violence is inherently superior to protest, rather that I value a communist society over any potential unavoidable bloodshed and I am prepared to face this grim scenario instead of placing my faith fully in idealistic optimism! If a mere minority of but 3,5 percent of a regions population was always enough to bring forth absolute change, there could have been 100 less years of French monarchy, no war in Vietnam, a red Europe!
