Hey there, I’m back!

It has been a while. Can’t believe how much time has passed since I last posted here.

As I try writing long-form again vs writing under 280 characters most of the time, I hope to rekindle something I’ve lost and now consciously trying to get back. 

Returning to Tumblr feels both nostalgic and cringe-y.  As someone who had to navigate teenagehood with the internet, Tumblr has witnessed how pretentious I was. And how I tried to figure everything out, but obviously failed.

Now a reluctant adult, I can’t help but feel kind of worried and pitiful towards my young self. And more than anything, I don’t know what my younger self thinks of the adult that he had become.

This moment feels like my 15-year-old self and the adult me meeting for the first time. I’m not sure if they like what they see. Are they disappointed? Or, somehow, they like what they see?

2016. Look at you, look at us. We thought we'd never survive. But here we are, closing another chapter! I like the effect of new years. We get to reflect and think about the past 366 days. We may have regrets. We may have failed. We may have shortcomings this year. That's alright. The good news is, tomorrow, day 1 of 365 begins.
