So, A Christmas Carol was written in 1843.
As such, there have, at this time, been 1,842 Christmases.
And so, I posit the question: Is it not strange that the Ghost of Christmas Past, having 1,842 Christmases passed to choose from, takes Scrooge to one only a few years prior?
I mean, obviously it is determined that this is the one that will best teach him to be less of an evil capitalist, but like... Isn't it weird the Ghost of Christmas Past doesn't teach say, I don't know, the meaning of Christmas?
Like, the Ghost of Christmas Past is inclined to one man's greedy individualism, and says "I can change him" - but why? Is *that* the meaning of Christmas?
Traumatising old men with their pasts into becoming better people is the real meaning of Christmas? I've clearly been doing it wrong.

Bohemian Rhapsody. We Will Rock You. Somebody To Love. All hit singles, and all the direct product of a band that was formed when an astrophysicist and a dentistry major found a new friend in an art college, who then went on to recruit a fourth member from the electronics school. Based on this alliance I propose the rift in society between Arts and STEM students was fabricated to keep us separated so as to dilute our true power - and fabricated by who, you may ask? The business major, the only member of society who reaps no reward from art and science and thus must weaken us so as to stay ahead. In this essay I will
