Yokai watch has a lot of references in it, like blasters, Deadcool, and the Y files, what is your favorite?

this is a hard one!! i don't know many of the references so i suppose deadcool is my favorite, since its the one i remember the most clearly.

thats a hard one since the first time i played ykw3?? was on an emulator sometime last year in the spring, and i never played ykw2. Bony Spirits for the vibez and Red Cat Corps bc i heart the nyans :D

probably something relating to the "wasting a turn" inspirit type, making someone too anxious to move or act bc they're overthinking :o

Yo kai watches can and have been warn in other ways than on the wrist, if you could choose a way to wear your yo kai watch (whatever model you want to choose), how would you wear it?

Call me simple but maybe a necklace... or maybe as a little keychain so i could clip it to a lanyard :))

Ello!!!! Im going round wanting to see ppls answers, who do you think would win in a fight, every pokemon or every Yo kai?

oh man, i'm a fan of both series, but pokemon has my heart and i feel like i want to say pokemon would win. though i feel like the yo-kai would win by aspect they have slightly more in terms of numbers, and they have some CRAZY powerhouses on the roster. ofc, pokemon also has a ton of gods, technically. tbh i think it could go either way! i don't think either side would ever win in a landslide. they'd trade wins every so often. perhaps yo-kai more often.

been dead a hot sec on here but coming on to say im very disappointed in L5 using AI for the new game!!! i was genuinely excited when i first saw the trailer- the idea and concept seems REALLY fun and its still following a YKW vibe, so i was happy!- and then later tonight i saw very damning evidence that AI was used for the BG art :/ we just cant have nice things anymore, can we? uhg.

i sense a trip on the Seven Seas to play the game in the future... sighh. iykyk.

okay my ykw hot take is i dont like the anime girl/boy yokai. at all... i want silly creatures. if ur making them humanoid at least go the pokemon route. i do not care for enma or the bunny girl or that hacker dude. im okay with like allnyta and count cavity from previous post(s) bc theyre at least like... still creature-adjacent enough and aren't actually the anime girl/boy trope.

slow day today; what are y'alls favorite "ugly" yo-kai? as in, yo-kai that aren't the stereotypical cute nyan or koma variants, nor the "hot anime guy/girl" ones.

while i personally wouldnt consider this fella "ugly" he's def not in the above categories so i like ebisu :)
