Never Glory - Chapter 7
Tom Riddle x reader
TW: blood, gore, death and all that stuff
Class soon ended and quickly scurried out because it wasn't my intention to be late to my next class. Plus, I had a lot of studying to do. You see, when it comes to studying, I am definitely not the smartest person in the muggle world. I absolutely despise tests, I can handle assignments though. The only fact that I know a lot is because I'm like centuries old. I had to spend my time somewhere, didn't I? Other than Hogwarts which I loved, I did unfortunately go to a muggle school in my lifetime. Let's just say that I hated muggle schools with a burning passion. We got taught math, science, English, arts, extra languages, PE and health, and History (which I quite enjoyed). I liked math and it wasn't bad. Also English, that was quite nice along with the extra language that I learnt which was Spanish, lovely language really.
Arts had different parts. There was visual, drama, music and dance. My heart was with visual arts but I hated music, I DESPISED it. They have A, B, C, D, E, F. Of course, I always aimed for the A's but I ended up with a few B's and some C's too. Music was impossible. I hated the theory work and I had absolutely no finger coordination. Let's just say that I desperately needed help with playing the piano. It was no doubt that I got a C for that class. (you can change your subject preferences if you like :))
I huffed and pushed the door open once I reached my dorm. I did run into Molly and Lily on the way though and they did say that we could hang out in our free period after the following class. I quickly grabbed my books needed for the next subject: transfiguration. I have a feeling that Riddle doesn't like me. The way he said 'quite the impressive answer', was nice to his extent but he did seem to despise me a little. Almost as if he was jealous or annoyed by my presence. I couldn't work out which one though. I decided to stop thinking about Riddle right after I entered the class because somebody could be using legilimency at any time of the day, although, I do suspect that that's not the case since there are quite a few dimwitted morons here.
Transfiguration was a good subject since I had this one with Lily and Molly so I didn't need to worry about which idiot would sit next to me, or if I had an idiot sitting next to me at all. As I walked in 5 minutes early. I saw Riddle already there, sitting in the middle seats, not too far back, neither too close to the front. I took a glance towards Lily and waved at her before going to sit next to her. "Hey Lily, how's your day been," I asked as I sat down next to her. I could tell that she was quite disappointed on me being a Slytherin but I suppose she's gotten over it. She doesn't believe the, 'everyone in Slytherin is going to go bad somebody'. I mean, that's sort of true. I wouldn't consider myself evil.... yet at least. But nonetheless, we've decided to be on first name basis since she thinks that it's 'friendly' to do so.
"Oh good morning Daena! My day has been quite nice besides the constant bickering between James and Severus," she replied with, while writing some notes down. I wondered who Severus was since I hadn't met him yet.
"Oh, that is definitely not the most pleasant experience," I joked. "But if you don't mind me asking, who's Severus?" I added.
"Right sorry, I forgot to introduce him to you," Lily laughed. "Severus Snape is a Slytherin and a target for James to bully. I despise James for doing it but whenever I bring it up, he just seems to torment me about why I'm friends with Severus," she sadly stated. To be honest, I wasn't that fond of James Potter, and he did seem like quite the bully to me.
"Well, if you hate what James does that much, then I can always crucio him for you," I stated, while grabbing everything out of my satchel.
"Daena, you're funny. But no, please don't do that," she said. She thought I was joking. Now that's funny. I hummed in response and continued to get my quill set. Well, James and her were friends but it's not right to bully somebody for the fun of it. I have my morals too.
"Oh look, here Severus comes. He typically sits near Riddle's group though, that's the only time that James doesn't bother him, I suspect that James is scared of Riddle. I mean, who isn't? And that's also why I don't particularly approach him," Lily said as I peered at the person who just entered. He was quite pale and had jet black hair that was neatly brushed behind his ears. He seemed to be the quiet type so why would James bully him? There were still a few minutes before the professor would arrive so I had enough time to get adjusted and take note of who came in and out.
Just as my trance finished, another voice rang out. "Oh look who it is! Snivellus Snape!"
I could tell it was Potter. When I turned my back around, I was indeed right. He was standing there with Lupin, Pettigrew and Black. I knew the Black family had traditions for being in Slytherin so a thought did cross my mind as to why he was in Gryffindor.
As Severus stood there with a slight frown on his face, I realized that no one would help him. Lily couldn't help since she was friends with both of them, but I think her love for Potter blinded herself from seeing the bad things he does. Since we had a few minutes left and I had already set up, I calmly stood up as to not cause a scene.
"You can't speak to him like that Potter," I mentioned as I stood up. "L/N, seriously. Can't you see we're just having a little fun?" Potter replied as he looked Severus up and down.
"Well, you guys can go have your 'fun' elsewhere," I said while making imaginary quotation marks. "Stop bothering him or I'll have all four of your heads hanging in my dorm," I stated as I looked at the so called 'mauderers'.
"Oh no, Daena is going to kill us! What are we going to do now?" Potter said, sarcasm laced on his voice as he pretended to faint into the three other boys. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.  "They're not worth your time Daena," Lily said as she pulled me away.
I then walked towards Severus. "Hello Severus. Lily told me all about you," I smiled. "I'm Daena L/N, pleasure to meet you. It's not right how they treat you and I just wanted to tell you that," I added, a grin forming on my face right after.
"Nice to meet you too Daena. I suppose you already know my name and I can see you're good friends with Lily," he stated. Just by his glance towards Lily, I could see that he dearly loved her. They'd probably been friends since the start of first year which I sadly did not get to experience.
"Yeah, we're great friends although we've barely known each other for two days," I said, while chuckling a little at the sound of what I had just said.
I had a friend. And it was quite nice. I actually had multiple friends. Lily, Molly, Emma, Septima, and now maybe even Severus. But definitely not Riddle. I sensed that he was either jealous or annoyed with my presence. But I couldn't figure out which one.
Little did I know that it was neither what I had just predicted. His eyes showed not jealousy,  Not annoyance, But love.
It is just that neither of them knew it yet.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anddd that's a wrap! I will start to post a little more consistently now! Also, sorry about the limited interactions with Riddle. But I promise, that there will be more. This was just a chapter to get everyone well introduced and your opinions on everyone. Also, in the next chapter, you'll be joining the Sl- wait I can't say anything else or I'll ruin it lmao. Anyways, bye, see you next chapter!

Never Glory - Chapter 6
Tom Riddle x reader
TW: blood, gore, death and all that stuff
"Ah what a fine morning," I sarcastically spoke. Our common room is in the dungeons which you guessed, have no windows! I motivated myself to get out of bed because classes would start in less than an hour, and I wouldn't want to be late on my first day.
As I put my socks on, I checked to see whether Kaiser was awake. He was quite smart and he probably knew the dangers of getting out of his cage while I'm gone. Hence, I let him stay there untouched.
I brushed my teeth, showered and put on robes. All that morning stuff. My hands then gently skimmed my favorite book about potions. If this was my first time at Hogwarts, I wouldn't call myself smart academically because I simply saw no point in learning things I wouldn't use in the future. That's what I was like back a few centuries ago, only getting grades for the certain parts and thing I would use. Because let's get it straight, no one and I mean no one is going to use botany if they want to take over the world, or kill someone for a matter of fact. What are they going to do? Woo the victim with flowers. But in complete seriousness, it's quite hard to comprehend how much I've changed these years. Life was so repetitive and unoriginal and I still have absolutely no clue why I'm still here.
The fact that I've seen literally everything terrifies me. It may not seem like it, but death, blood, gore and not to mention, manipulation and torture, have all been seen by my very own old eyes. I just chose not to act on it. The world is already a bloody place without me getting involved. I saw families rise and fall and I couldn't say anything. I've seen the start of this place Hogwarts.
Honestly, I could've done so much. I could've been powerful, because as far as I know, anyone and everyone immortal is already in Azkaban. But I chose to lead a peaceful life, because I have a feeling. I can't quite get this right, but I feel like someone is going to come, and my time might be over soon. Hogwarts is the only place where I just might get some information about how I'm even possible.
My 'life' has been a blur, and I hope that that changes.
I shuddered at my thoughts before shaking my head and walking out with my books in my hands. It was nearly time for class to start, only about five minutes. I read the syllabus before and I know that it hasn't changed. So if I'm correct, we'll be learning about the Sleeping Draught today in Potions. I assume we have Horace Slughorn for Potions and I hope to be on his good side. I just want to study a bit, get good grades and find out what the hell I'm doing in this era. I may consider asking Dumbledore soon too.
I reached the classroom which wasn't that far. I didn't manage to check whether my roommates were still in bed so Vanity and Vector might be in the class already, or they might be making their way here. I gently pushed the door open to be met with some seats full while others were empty. Only about one third of the students were here so far. As I scanned the room, I noticed that Tom Riddle was one of them. I took no pleasure in smiling, as I knew he nor anyone else would reciprocate. I turned to Professor Slughorn and realized that I had to make a nice impression as Potions was one of my favorite subjects. Although, charms was the one that I was best at.
"Oh and who might you be, young lady? I haven't seen you around before," Professor Slughorn asked. "Daena L/N, Sir. Pleasure to meet you," I grinned a little evilly. He didn't know what I was capable of in this particular class. "Ah, Dumbledore told me a little about you, said you were quite the smart one," he said. Well, he wasn't wrong right now. But before, not quite.
"But I'm afraid, since your from Ilvermorny, they are a little below us in terms of academic levels. So I'll need to assign you a tutor. Maybe Riddle m' boy?" He said as he took a glance towards Riddle who seemed to sneer at me but then politely smiled to the professor. I scowled a little which seemed to go unnoticed by the professor. This is bullshit. I don't need someone teaching me anything. However, I still agreed and continued smiling. I moved next to Riddle after he said yes to the offer.
I placed my books down and moved away from the guy as much as my chair would let me. Sooner or later, everyone arrived and started chit chatting about whatever the hell they were talking about. I'm really not in a good mood today. I took a small breath in and out to calm myself a little.
"Everyone! Quiet down, today we will be learning about the Sleeping Draught," Professor Slughorn stated. Well, at least I was right about the Sleeping Draught. I slightly turned my eyes to Riddle, who seemed to be reading a dark arts book. He is just weird, I don't care about how exceedingly 'handsome' people say he is.
"Okay, so can anyone tell me what the Sleeping Draught is?" Slughorn asked. This is child's play, I'm not even going to bother answering. And it seemed Riddle didn't either. As his hand didn't go up. I assumed him to be the one who would be the first person to put his hand up considering how smart people said he was. I shrugged to myself and saw Slughorn pick a girl in Slytherin, she seemed to be... Oh wait- that's Grace Roka. Well, let's hope she gets this right.
"It's a potion that causes the consumer to go to sleep for a long time, Sir," she said, smiling. I swear on my immortal life, this girl is a bloody idiot. She's wrong. She didn't even say a sentence and I found a flaw. I raised my hand and heard Slughorn say, "right, but can someone give me a in-depth explanation?" Professor Slughorn asked as Roka slid a smile onto her face for getting the question right. And her friends congratulated her. I rolled my eyes a bit and put my hand up to answer the question Slughorn just asked.
I saw Riddle's hand slide up too and I prayed that Slughorn would pick me. Slughorn looked at me hesitantly, thinking that I would get the question wrong since I went to Ilvermorny. Well, I can tell he's a judger. "Uhm Daena, why don't you go ahead?" Slughorn said. The class looked at me as I stated my case.
"The Sleeping Draught is a potion which causes the consumer to fall to sleep as Roka said. But, she is wrong, she said that it would cause a long sleep. That is untrue, it is temporary. But instead of a long sleep, it causes a deep sleep where the consumer will not wake up. If you wanted a long sleep, you would use the Draught of Living death," I said while pausing for a second and continuing. "It is a purple mist that envelopes after you open the Sleeping Draught. To make this potion, you need 4 sprigs of Lavender, 6 measures of Standard Ingredient, 2 blobs of Flobberworm Mucus, and 4 Valerian sprigs. Also, the antidote is the Wiggenweld Potion if needed."
I smiled a little before Slughorn spoke up in a little shock. This'll teach you not to judge anyone, Professor.  "Well done, Daena! 10 points to Slytherin, plus 5 because of the enthusiasm and listening skills!"
I smugly smiled and looked towards Roka who slid a little under her chair, ashamed of being pointed out for her flaw. She scowled at me while I just looked back towards Slughorn.
"Quite the impressive answer, L/N," Riddle whispered into my ear. I know what you're thinking, but I don't fall easily. If I did, I would be dead.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have exams and assignments these 2 weeks so I may not post much. It depends though, I might. Also, I just wanted to give a little traits about your personality and who you'd kill for and blah blah. So if the rambling in the first few paragraphs are long, I apologize.

Never Glory - Chapter 5
Tom Riddle x reader
TW: blood, gore, death and all that stuff
My eyes trailed to my dorm as I stepped forward to open the door. Once I opened it, there were quite a few beds and there was one in the far corner that didn't seem to be habited. There were curtains surrounding each bed for privacy which for which I silently thanked the designer for.
I first let Kaiser out of my robe before he'd suffocate. I wouldn't want that to happen because that would be quite atrocious on the first day. I let Kaiser out and let him slither on my hand before grabbing a cage and putting it underneath my bed. The cage was actually quite spacious because of the charm I charmed it with. The outside of the cage looked small but trust me, it was like a whole jungle in there if you walked in. "Kaiser, if anyone comes in, slither into this cage alright?" I said.
"I don't want us getting caught for bringing in illegal animals," I added. Kaiser hissed and sort of nodded? I'm not quite sure but he did do something to signal that he was indeed listening.
The smell of perfume clouded my scent of the actual room. The perfume didn't smell to nice either so it was quite a shame that I had to live here. I just hope my roommates aren't those girls from the train. I suddenly yawned, realizing I had not slept that well last night. Well, sleep would have to wait, I needed to unpack my items.
I carefully pulled out all that was needed for the first few days like some change of clothes, toiletries, my journal, textbooks, and some other items. I gave a sad smile as I set up a picture right next to my bed on a stand. It was a picture of my parents. This photo frame was special though. Only I was able to see the picture of them, no one else. To others, it would just be a blank frame.
As I finished setting up my things, I heard a door open behind me. I assumed they were my roommates.  I turned around and saw 2 pairs of eyes staring at me. One had blue eyes and the other had green. This time, I needed friends at Hogwarts besides Lily and Molly since they were already in a different house. So I spoke up, "hi! I'm Daena L/N. I just transferred here from Ilvermorny," I said as I grinned at the two of them.
"Oh hi! I'm Emma Vanity, it's nice to meet you! There's a rumor going around about a transfer," the blue eyed girl said as she smiled at me. "There are rumors about me?" I asked, confused because nobody saw me except Riddle. Oh wait- the train ride. Never mind.  "Yes, apparently there's a girl who just transferred from Ilvermorny. We don't get many transfers by the way so it's a big deal," the other girl chimed in while looking at me in the eye. "Oh, by the way, I'm Septima Vector," she mentioned as I greeted her and Emma with a handshake.
"Nice to meet you both. I hope that we'll get along, especially since you're my roommates," I stated with a slight chuckle. But the thing is, this is only two of them, where are the other two since Riddle said I'd share with 4 girls.
"If you don't mind me asking, do you know the other two girls staying with us?" I asked, in hopes for an answer. "Yeah we do. They aren't the best though. We are with Jasmine Walker and Heather Varma," Emma sadly stated. All these names were confusing me, all those girls I saw in the compartment looked exactly the same so from now on, I'll just call them by clones. Walker can be Clone 1. Then so on, it's really not my fault that I forget such basic names. I have better things to remember like the art of potion making which is much more interesting I must add.
"That's not a great start, but it's fine. We can deal with them," I said, as I continued to search for a book to read before I go to bed.
"Well then, goodnight," I mentioned as I laid on my bed as the warmth enveloped my body. I heard a faint 'goodnight' from the two other girls. I assumed that Clone 1 and 2 would walk in later considering them being, well, 'them'.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks again for reading, this one's a bit short because I wrote more in the last chapter lol sorry. But yeah, tell me what you think of it!

Never Glory - Chapter 4
Tom Riddle x reader
TW: blood, gore, death and all that stuff
As I gaped at the giant structure in front of me, I realized how much it had changed since the last time I had been here. It was quite the sight to say the least.
"Come on, lets go!" Molly spoke as Lily and I followed behind her. "So Daena, do you like our school so far?" Lily asked. "Of course, I love it! It feels like I've been here so long!" I exclaimed, feeling optimistic about this year. This is only my second time but I feel that this year will go by smoothly.
Molly and Lily told me that they that they were headed for the Great Hall as I needed to go to Headmaster Dippet to get sorted into my house. I waved goodbye and headed the direction the Headmaster's office was in. I remember this place like it was yesterday.
I finally ended up reaching Headmaster Dippet's office and slowly opened the doors and saw an old man sitting on a large armchair. He suddenly stood up while I watched and smiled at him. This must be Headmaster Dippet. I had never personally met him so I had to make a good first impression.
"Ah you must be Daena L/N, we've been expecting you. I'm Headmaster Dippet," Headmaster Dippet spoke. "Yes, that's me, Daena L/N" I said, having my 'name' smoothly slip out of my tongue. "We have got your books and have a schedule sorted out depending on your house," the Headmaster said, "now if you don't mind, we'll put the sorting hat on you to decide your house. There is Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. The hat decides where you'll belong."
"Of course, Sir," I replied with while grinning. Headmaster Dippet grabbed the sorting hat from a shelf and placed it upon my head.
"Ah, L/N I see, there is quite a future awaiting you. You have a knack for hiding secrets I can tell, especially now Daena L/N," the sorting hat mentioned. I gulped, knowing that the hat knows my real name. I just hope it doesn't say it out loud.
"You are definitely brave and courageous. Would I see you in a library reading books that peak your interest? Yes, that is definite. But patience is not one of your virtues. Although, I see that you are cunning to prove yourself and ambitious. You'll do anything to get to your goal. So perhaps, the best place to put you in is SLYTHERIN!" The sorting hate howled.
Great, Slytherin. I actually kind of like that though. Means I've changed these past few centuries. I do wish upon a star that maybe I'll find the love of my life here. Not likely though. I smiled at Headmaster Dippet and said, "well, guess I'm in Slytherin."
"I assure you that Slytherin is a great house for you and if you do happen to have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me or the teachers," Headmaster Dippet said, sensing some worry in me even though there was not. "Of course, I will. Thank you, Sir," I said, smiling once again. "Great, that's all. Now our Slytherin prefect, Mr. Riddle, will assign you your dorm and pass you your schedule. He should be in the Slytherin common room. You may leave now," Dippet said. I nodded and walked out of his office.
Now I needed to find Riddle and ask him where my freaking dorm is. Goodness. I wouldn't see Lily and Molly since dinner is probably nearly over and there is simply no point on going to the Great Hall anymore. So I headed to the Slytherin common room to find Riddle.
The name 'Riddle' suddenly clicked to me. Isn't that the name the girls in my compartment were talking about? I hope not, because that would mean that those girls were in Slytherin which would cause a little trouble for me.
As I reached the entrance, I realized that I had forgotten to ask Headmaster Dippet the common room password. I'm such an idiot, I thought to myself. Merlin, I guess I'll just have to stay here now. I leaned against the frame of the portrait sighing, waiting for someone to come in or out. As I was taking in the surroundings, my eyes fell upon a word that was engraved on the side of the opposite portrait I was leaning on. "Pureblood?" I said out loud as I read off the engraving.
To my surprise, the frame opened and revealed what I assumed the Slytherin common room was. Hm, better keep 'pureblood' in mind.
I looked around to see green sofas and a fireplace in the far middle of the rom. To be honest, this is better than the Gryffindor common room. Maybe it was more my style. I really couldn't say. Just as I was taking in my surroundings, a creak could be heard behind me and there stood a tall brunette boy.
I turned around and looked at a bag on his cloak that said 'Tom Riddle'. Well, I guess this is who Headmaster Dippet was referring to. The brunette looked at me as though he was mad someone was in here. "Are you Tom Riddle?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
"Yes. Now if you don't mind, I would like for leave the common room and go back to the Great Hall," his monotone voice spoke. So much for trying to be nice, I thought. I let out a scoff and said, "well, if YOU don't mind, Headmaster Dippet asked me to talk to you about my dorm and schedule. I'm Daena L/N, I transferred from Ilvermorny," I said, returning the same tone he spoke in.
"I see, Headmaster did tell me that a new student must be attended to. But he also said that he did not tell you the common room password and for me to provide it for you. So I have to ask, how did you get in?" Riddle questioned.
"You see, some bloody idiot carved the password out on the side of the frame so I didn't do anything illegal if that's what you're trying to ask me," I said, assuming the worst of what he could've thought. He paused while nodding his head, probably noting how observant I was. Didn't say much did he? But he was definitely charming. I could see that he was quite snobbish though. And rude.
"I would appreciate it if you would show me to my dorm now," I calmly spoke. He weirdly eyed me as I walked near the side of the common room that said 'girls'. What? Was he expecting me to swoon over him or something? Certainly not. Not yet at least-
"Right. You are in dorm 3 and you share it with four other girls. Here is your schedule," Riddle said as he handed me a paper. I mustered up a small smile and watched him exit the common room.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These chapters are DEFINTELY going to get edited sooner or later so yeah. This is a story where he will have to get used to you and slowly but surely fall in love. I really don't enjoy stories where someone falls for someone and suddenly changes their way. THIS IS A SELF INTEREST BY THE WAY, "Daena" is simple an ALAIS (another name). Trust me, Y/N will be used after you/she decides that it is time to reveal it to her friends and Riddle.
Thanks for reading!

Never Glory - Chapter 3
Tom Riddle x reader
TW: blood, gore, death and all that stuff
I made my way to platform 9 and 3/4. I remembered my first time going through it and needing to ask a lady for help. I forever treasured the courtesy of that women. I faintly remember her telling me about how amazing Hogwarts would be and how she had 5 kids that had already went there.
After my sudden trance, I gently grabbed Kaiser and let him go under the sleeve of my robes. Yes, I was already wearing my robes since I didn't want to change in the train. I made sure everything was secure on my trolley and ran through the wall, leaving me in a different platform than I was before.
"Nice to see you again, Platform 9 and 3/4," I said. Some would probably call me a lunatic if they heard that and I wouldn't blame them. I got sorted into Gryffindor the last time I came here centuries ago and I don't think that's going to change. I mean, maybe it will or maybe it won't. I can't predict the future. Oh wait- I can haha.
I boarded the train and started to search for a free compartment when I saw a few girls sitting in one. I opened the compartment's door and saw the girls. It had looked like they were all gossiping about some random shit that I didn't really care about. "Hey, I'm Daena, Daena L/N. All the other compartments are full and I was wondering if I could sit here?" I said with a bright smile as to keep up politeness. "Uhm, alright I guess. I'm Heather Varma by the way and these are my friends, Taylor Shack, Jasmine Walker and Grace Roka. I have more of course but we all can't fit in one compartment," she said in a sort of snobby way, almost bragging. All of them looked me up and down in a sort of judging way and proceeded to continue gossiping about whatever shit they were talking about before. Rude. "What year are you in because none of us girlies have seen you around," Walker asked. "Oh, I'm in my fifth year and yes, you may not have seen me around since I'm new to Hogwarts," I spoke, being way politer than using slang like 'girlies' when meeting someone the first time. What kind of a word even is that!?
"Yeah I figured you were in fifth, you definitely don't look like a first year. We're in fifth year too," Shack butted in. I just nodded and refrained from cursing them.
I huffed and took a seat in the far corner of the compartment, because I didn't want anyone to see Kaiser and because I wanted to steer clear from those snobs. "I tthink that tthey don't like you," Kaiser hissed under my sleeve. I started whispering, "don't you think I already realized? Also, stay hidden, can't risk being expelled when I haven't even entered the school yet." Kaiser's head poked back into my sleeve. I felt like I needed some shut-eye time so that's what I did.
I didn't fall asleep due to the rowdy girls sitting next to me. I could feel the ringing in my ears as they talked about all sorts of things. I heard them mentioning names of boys and Tom Riddle came up quite a lot. They must be fawning over the guy. I wondered who he was. They also mentioned other things such as their preferred makeup brands. I also heard them trash talking about other students at Hogwarts. I had my eyes closed and so the girls next to me thought I was asleep.
"Oh my god, Daena is so weird. I wonder what house she's in. Hopefully not ours, even though she's kinda pretty, she'll probably give a bad name to us ," Walker whispered, not knowing that I was listening to it all. 'Pathetic imbeciles,' I thought to myself. Not wanting to hear any more of what they were saying. I stood up and made my way out of the compartment. I could hear some, "you didn't think she heard that?" from some of Walker's friends as I was making my way out.
I sighed as I escaped that negative space. It just felt so fake, like they weren't actually friends. I scoffed at the thought of those girls and made my way to a different compartment where I saw a mix of boys and girls. "Let's try my luck," I said to myself before sliding the compartment's door.
"Hey! I'm Daena L/N and all the other compartments are full and the one I was just in, let's just say that it didn't exactly have nice people," I said, leaning on the side of the door. "Of course you can sit with us! I'm Lily Evans and I can tell that we'll be friends," a girl spoke up. I genuinely smiled and walked in and found a seat in the far corner like before. "Thanks, the other compartment was full of snobs and when they thought I was asleep, they started to trash talk me," I laughed.
"Oh that sucks, let me guess, Walker, Shack, Heather and them," Lily stated, "they're not the best of people, but they're quite popular. And considering your looks, they must be jealous." I chuckled at her response, knowing that we'd be great friends. "Oh and these are my friends," she pointed each one of them out, "James Potter, Molly Prewett, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew."
I smiled at all of them and waved as they waved back. "So, what year are you in Daena?" Sirius asked. I smiled and responded, "Oh I'm in fifth but I'm a transfer from Ilvermorny." Of course, I wasn't a transfer but it's my cover up and I did it pretty smoothly I must say. "That's so cool. I heard they also have houses?" James interjected. "Yup, you're right, they have four too. Horned Serpent, Wampus, Pukwudgie and Thunderbird," I replied. Yes, I did do my research.
"I wonder what house I'm going to be in though," I said as the rest in the compartment listened. "Yeah, we're all in Gryffindor but we wouldn't mind hanging out with you if you're in a different house!" Molly said. "Thanks, I really appreciate that," I spoke, not even knowing that I was smiling. I checked to see if Kaiser was alright under my sleeve and when I did, it looked like he was asleep. I let him be.
The train ride came to a halt and I stood up, offering Lily and Molly one in the process. They graciously grinned as they took my hand. James, Remus, Sirius and Peter trailed behind as Lily, Molly and I walked and talked about Hogwarts and that resulted in them giving me some heads up about some stuff.
"When I was in the other compartment with the other girls, I heard them fawning over this guy. I couldn't help but listen and hear the name Tom Riddle," I said. "Oh Daena, you don't wanna go near him. He's very smart and apparently handsome for other girls but I'm telling you now, he has danger written all over him," Lily spoke.
"Plus, he called Lily a mudblood when she accidently bumped into her," Molly added. "I already don't like him," I said as I looked at Lily and Molly. All three of us got onto a carriage and were pulled away by thestrals. Lily and Molly claimed that they couldn't see them no matter how many times I told them that they were right in front of us.
We ended up reaching Hogwarts and to say I gaped in awe at the giant castle was an understatement.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Woah, that was long. Anyways, yay! Varma, Walker, Shack and all those 'girlies' hate you lol. But at least your friends with Lily and Molly! The other girls are just gonna be made up side characters so don't really mind them, you can change the names to your preferences :)

Never Glory - Chapter 2
Tom riddle x reader
TW: blood, gore, death all that stuff.
The sounds of birds chirping woke me up. Again. It was annoying at this point and I refrained from cursing those blasted birds into silence. Oh well, guess I have to get up anyway.
I walked towards the mirror in my room and looked at myself. Back to 15 I guess. I struggled to get everything to fit into my suitcase but in the end, it all fit with the help of some magic. Just then, I heard Noctis fly into my bedroom and give a little chirp. Now that's a bird's voice that I actually enjoy. "Oh Noctis! What you got there?" I said as I gently took the letter out of Noctis' beak. "It's from Albus Dumbledore! Probably confirming my application to Hogwarts!" I squealed, my voice a little higher since I'm back to 15.
I read through the letter and indeed found out that I had been accepted due to Dumbledore of course. Headmaster Dippet had already set my position in Hogwarts up. And to my uttermost surprise, Dumbledore knew that I was going to come to Hogwarts. "Should've suspected it," I said to myself. Once again, the old man really was incredibly wise.
I got dressed and ventured out to Diagon Alley, making way through the the crowd of people, shopping for whatever reason. I turned to Ollivanders to get a new wand. Ollivander was but another person who knew about my immortality but I promise you that that's it! Only him and Dumbledore knew. Moving on, I opened the door to the slightly ragged shop and greeted Ollivander.
"Oh Y/N, dear! Been quite long since I've seen you. I see that your returning to Hogwarts?" He asked. I smiled and said, "Yep, thought I needed a change and I just have this gut feeling that something bad is going to happen this year," I said, not wanting to give too much information about my visions.
"Right, well, have you changed your identity yet?" He asked while sorting out which wand would be right for me. "Oh yes! Call me Daena L/N," I said proudly.
"Well Daena, I have just the right wand for you. Go ahead and try it," he said. I carefully took the wand into my own hands and gave it a swift flick and then proceeded to see that a glass vase in the shop just broke. "Whoops, sorry," I said shamefully.
"Not to worry, I have another that may work but there's quite a slim chance," He said as he handed me yet another wand. I studied it and it felt quite light in the hands. the design of it was also wonderful. I yet again gave it a swift flick and it suddenly illuminated a broken lamp sitting beside Ollivander.
Ollivander furrowed his eyebrows and said, "That is quite strange. No wonder it's you though."
"What's strange," I asked in pure confusion. "You see, this wand is the last one out of a group of three," he said, "I gave one to another student not so long ago, maybe a few years back."
I stared off and silently thought about who could have the brother of my wand. "Oh well, that's that. I'll be heading off now. Thanks Ollivander, bye!" I broke the silence. Although Ollivander was deep in thought, he said his parting nonetheless.
"How peculiar," I said to myself after that interaction.
My eyes started to wander to some other shops in which I collected the items I needed. I had enough money of course, considering I had a job and my inheritance from my parents who were rich purebloods. The goblins at Gringotts bank still refused to even tell me their names centuries ago and I don't think they'd be pleased with the fact that I'm still alive to this very day.
I ventured into a pet shop where I got another pet. It was a snake which definitely was not permitted on Hogwarts grounds. But it was so cute I simply couldn't leave it stranded there! Probably getting a horrid owner in the future. It had blood red eyes and was literally just black in color. Still to me, the snake was pretty. I named it Kaiser as I had heard that name a few years ago in a book I was reading. It didn't hold much meaning but I still named it that nonetheless.
"Aren't you a pretty little creature," I smiled as I looked at the snake at eye level. "I'm going to name you Kaiser," I spoke.
"I like that name," hissed the snake much to my surprise.
"W-what, is it just me or are you talking," I said, in complete shock. "It's not you. Your a parseltongue," It hissed once again. My heartbeat rose, "you mean, I can speak to snakes?" I asked, remembering a book I read which mentioned parseltongues and their origins.
"Precisssely," Kaiser hissed. "Well, that's fun. I guess I have an animal to talk to now," I spoke, still in complete shock. I realized that some strangers around me were looking at me weirdly. Oh, I was speaking another language.
No wonder.

I mean, that wasn't bad?

Never Glory - Chapter 1
Tom riddle x reader
TW : blood, death gore and all that stuff
My breath quickened and my heartbeat rose as I suddenly jolted awake, feeling not in the slightest mood to get up. You see, I've been having these nightmares? One would call it nightmares but I consider them as visions. They somehow predict the future and tell me what is going to happen next. The weird part is that I haven't had visions like this since the year 1900 when Grindelwald rose to power. Quite infuriating really, I couldn't help anyone from death because my stupid self didn't know whether they were reliable or not.
If I went into graphic detail as to what series of events exactly occurred in my 'visions', one would be horrified. The scene of blood, gore and death appeared right in the back of my mind and it was hard to believe that this was my life.
I swear on the gods that Salazar Slytherin had something to do with this. That pathetic excuse of a wizard cursed me for eternity in hell just because I didn't follow a few of his rules. Slytherin should of died before he ever even laid eyes on muggleborns.
Oh well, I can't really do much about it now, especially since it's been centuries since he died. I'm alive and well but it just seems as though I'm here for a reason, not just because Slytherin cursed me.
I got up as the bed creaked underneath me. Mental note to myself about getting a new bed. The fact that I had a dream about someone killing a boy with a scar on his head. I wouldn't necessarily say 'someone' though.... He was more of a monster with only his body shape making him look the slightest bit human. I looked beside me to see the newspaper, 'Hogwarts: School for young witches and wizards'.
I had been to Hogwarts once and it wasn't the best experience but definitely not the worst either, I just didn't feel the need to re-make new stories about how my parents died and how I was born and where I was born. I couldn't risk being revealed to be immortal. They would throw me into Azkaban and make me rot there.
If I however did go there, I would get amazing grades and top the class, considering me being centuries years old but still looking young. It would be quite the win-win situation if you really thought about it.
I may even be able to make a future for myself, not being stuck as an auror for the rest of my life.
I felt as if I needed to go back to Hogwarts. It may even be different for me, I might be able to find someone to love me if I failed at the prevention of that monster I saw in my dreams. Oh! And not to mention my changing of identity tomorrow! Happens ever 40 years, I reset to the age of 15, looking like a child but having the knowledge of a wise wizard.
"Alrighty, so it's set. Y/N, your heading straight to Hogwarts!" I said to myself. I must admit, I didn't have many to talk to so it was quite the habit of mine to talk to myself at times. I grabbed some papers and started filling out my new identity for tomorrow's change.
"Hmm, Daena is a nice name. And L/N sounds promising...." I said to myself, "that's it then,
Daena L/N."
Quite a pureblood name in fact. I indeed am a pureblood, born to my mother and father which of whom I never knew the names of. Saddening really. You're probably thinking about how I'm going to get into Hogwarts. Well, you know Dumbledore, that professor at Hogwarts? Well, he knows about my existence and knows how I've been hexed by Slytherin as I had trouble lying to him at a time we met at Three Broomsticks. He agreed to put a good word about my application and let me join the school whenever I wanted. I'm not exactly quite sure why he would help me out but I guess I might be saving him in the future or something.
Who am I kidding though? No seriously. That old man knows quite a lot and just maybe I might play part to whatever he's planning.
-----------------------------------------------------
Thanks for reading so far, I have pretty inconsistent posting times so I post whenever I can lol. Oh and also, that monster you dreamed of? Yeah, that's Voldemort if you didn't get the references!

Never Glory - Information Chapter
Ok, I've made a Tom Riddle x Reader story and it's also on Wattpad so yeah. This is the information chapter! I'll put the chapters here and the link to the story on wattpad:
I just wanted to clarify some things in this chapter so it's important you read this if you're reading the next chapters.
Your basically yourself (Y/N) but nobody is going to call you that for the solid first part of the book since your going to go by an alias which is Daena L/N. Your real name is Y/N, just Y/N, no last name which is going to play a significant part in the plot later on. But you will have a made up one for the sake of it so it's gonna be L/N, I wanted you people to have the liberty of choosing.
For the first few parts, your name is Daena L/N.
So, you're basically just a human who has lived extremely long. You've been hexed as punishment by Salazar Slytherin back right after Hogwarts was created which was in like the 10th century (don't worry, the story is gonna start in the 1900's). Well, the hex was that you'd be immortal-ish. Only someone you really love would be able to kill you. Believe me when I say that you tried, tried quite hard to find someone. But you just couldn't, it was just impossible for you to do so and you were so fed up with your immortality.
And after trying, you gave up. There wasn't much hope anyway so what was the point. You had accepted your fate as being immortal and would let it be. Your icy cold walls that surrounded your heart just wouldn't let anyone get in and it was quite a shame really. And plus, why would a lover kill you?
(BTW PEOPLE, you're not gonna be an old woman, you stay the same and reset your age back to when you were 13 when you got hexed every 40 years. It's just how the curse works, alright?)
So due to your age and everything always being reset, you were allowed to go to Hogwarts as many times as you liked. As a result of that, you went once a few centuries after Hogwarts was built and you didn't like it so much. You obviously had to make up new wizarding certificates and everything to attend Hogwarts and you just didn't want to strain that sort of thing just to go every 40 years or so. So you just resulted in becoming a normal witch, just working as an auror and going about in your day to day life. Then, you change your identify just to repeat it once again every 40 years.
But one day, as you sleeping in your bed, you had visions about murder. A guy, who seemingly wanted to take over the world and get rid of mggleborns once and for all.
You had to admit though, that you may of had these dreams at the start of the year 1900. But you simply ignored them, thinking it was you're insanity getting to you. The vision was about Grindelwald of course and by each day they got worser and worser. That meant that Grindelwald was rising to power, obtaining the elder wand. You kept on ignoring them but after he was defeated the visions suddenly stopped. You then knew what the visions were trying to do.
"They were trying to warn me back then. I suppose it's doing the same now. After 38 years...."
The visions you had now were much worse. Of blood. Killings. Death. Even torture. You felt like a complete lunatic.
It's all basically just a timeline of the Harry Potter series from the 1900's into the current century. The only twist is that you will fall in love and know things you shouldn't.
________________________________________________________________________________
Chapter 1 continues on from what I ended with! Also, your in Slytherin. Don't worry, this is just me explaining some stuff so people aren't lost in the story so my writing will be a lot more sophisticated in the chapters coming.

The Weeping Queen // Weeping Monk x OC // Chapter 3
Tumblr media
This place isn’t so bad. I’ve made friends but also some twats who love to annoy different people. Nimue is going to wield the Sword of Power; I just know it. But other than that stuff, I know everything from how to shoot someone directly in the eye to all the knowledge one could possibly hold. Although I’m a human, every adult in the village accepted me, I was given to them by The Hidden. Apparently I was a gift. I’m a lot older now, 21. I still reminisce about my old world, Earth. I hope that all of this will pay off. The hours and hours I struggled to grasp the knowledge and the hours and hours I sat with the healer because I couldn’t mount a horse back then. Now that I mentioned it, Lenore gave me a horse, he was swift and not to mention a gorgeous grey with black hooves. He is wonderful. I still remember the first day I met him, I was 14, it was exactly a year after I had arrived. I had been walking near around my hut when Nimue arrived, pulling on the horse’s reins as she tried to pull the horse towards me.
“This is a horse mother asked me to give you. She said you deserved it after all the work you’ve been doing,” Nimue spoke as she heaved harder to try and pull him towards me. But to Nimue’s disdain, the horse just wouldn’t move. I just laughed at Nimue’s angered face as she kept on trying to pull on the reins. I carefully made my way to the horse as to not startle him. I told Nimue to give me the reins and to my surprise, the horse licked my left pocket of my long black coat. I got confused until I reached inside and found a little baby carrot in it. I chuckled and handed it to the horse who gobbled it up in mere seconds. Then I pulled on the reins once more and he moved to my desired place. He would listen to all of my commands. I ended up naming the him Raven. He was intelligent for sure, and I was stunned when he always found his way back to me after running around in the woods.
***
Squirrel came running into the gate as I and Nimue stood talking about her wanting to escape this village. I knew that they didn’t treat her right. Everyone called her a witch when she was just like them but had her share of scars. “Look what I have!” Squirrel jumped. “Where’d you get that from Squirrel, you’re not meant to be stealing!” I scolded him. I shook my head and motioned him to try it if he wanted, I couldn’t care less, as long as he didn’t get hurt. He took a sip and made an awfully good acting face, “little too much,” Squirrel said. I laughed it off as some person came walking and called Nimue a witch. “Piss off you old hag!” Squirrel shouted back. He sure had the guts. I muttered a small, ‘I need to go find Raven,” and smiled.
“There you are, boy,” you called out to Raven, he neighed in response, or just naturally? I don’t know. Well, I sat there feeding him his favourite apples, green apples. He loved green apples and that caused me to like them too. They are sour but they taste amazing. Just as I was about to get another piece to eat myself, Nimue came out of no where with Pym following her behind. “I was chosen by the Hidden,” Nimue mumbled, “and I’m leaving for good, I’m going to board the ship that sails in Gramaire, I never wanted to be chosen anyway,” she added. I suddenly stood up, “Nimue wait-.”
“No Dae, you cannot stop me, I’m going either way,” she said. Pym and I looked at each other. “It’s not that you idiot, we’re coming with you,” I stated. Nimue smiled and quickly packed her things. She’s always wanted to leave this place. I knew that the boat in Gramaire had already left a week ago and wasn’t going to come back for another 6 months but I knew I couldn’t convince Nimue since she would say I’m lying to keep her here. The least I can do is be there when she’s disappointed that the boat has left already.
We set out on our horses. Well, Nimue didn’t have a horse, so she borrowed one from the stables and Pym sat along with her. I took Raven of course, couldn’t leave that horse behind even for a second. As we galloped through the path, Pym kept asking Nimue questions on how we’ll survive. “Do we even have money?” Pym asked. “I have 20 silver, Pym. That’ll be enough to last us a week if we’re lucky,” Nimue replied. I sat on Raven for hours and hours and I probably fell asleep at one point, but I knew Raven wouldn’t drop me. When we finally reached Gramaire, I tied Raven to a stand nearby as well as the other horse Pym and Nimue picked up and ran up to Pym and Nimue who were already at the dock. Nimue asked a guy near us, “Do you know when the ship is mean to arrive?”
“It already left. The next one is going to come six months later,” he said. I knew it. She was sad. “Well, guess I’ll get to keep you for six more months,” Pym tried to lighten the mood. Nimue sighed and motioned for us to follow her back to the horses. I felt bad for Nimue, everyone insulted her and called her a witch when she wasn’t. Just because she’s more connected to this world doesn’t mean you shame her! It’s unfair. I cant even imagine the pain Nimue has to go through.
As we were walking back, Nimue suddenly stopped for a second and looked towards this man preforming a song. He appeared to look towards Nimue too and I was certain Pym saw it too. I didn’t have time for distractions though. I had sword fighting with some of the locals in a day, so I had to go back to prepare. I thought Nimue would just come back after hearing about the boat, but I was wrong. Seems like she’s found someone she’s interested in, so I’ll let her be. She deserves this. While Nimue was staring at the performer, I took a step towards Pym as my cloak followed behind me. “Pym, I trust you to take care of Nimue, it turns out that since we’re not leaving, I have sword fighting in the span of 14 hours. And I need you to make sure she doesn’t do anything stupid,” I said, concerned whether I’d make it or not. “You’re leaving?” Pym asked. “Yes, I see that Nimue has found someone that she may like, I can see it in her eyes. But I have to attend, or the sword fight will be an automatic defeat if I don’t go. And you know that I’ve never lost a sword fight, Pym,” I said. “Okay, I’ll be here for Nimue. But Dae, seriously, travel safe, red paladins could be anywhere,” Pym said. “You think those dimwits can kill me? I’m here to kill them, Pym,” I stated with full confidence. “I know, I know, but just, be safe. Alright?” She said. “Yes, yes Pym, I’ll be fine,” I replied. I waved her a goodbye and wandered off to Raven.
“Hello Raven, Pym and Nimue aren’t coming so it’s just me and you back,” I smiled as if he knew what I was saying. I placed the saddle more securely on Raven’s back and mounted him. I then rode out of Gramaire’s gates and into the woods. It was cloudy and gloomy today, but I could see traces of the sun trying to shine through the clouds. “I hope Nimue and Pym are safe,” I spoke under my breath. I kept riding on the trail until I found myself at the entrance of the woods, I’ve been here for 8 years so I surely know my way around this place. It was part of my studying in the 8 years I’ve stayed here.
I then realised that Red Paladins were attacking other Fey villages and killing them. I hated the red Paladins, I promised myself that if I’d ever see one, they would be dead before they even knew what hit them. But of course, I feel bad for them too, they think we’re monsters. Wait no, they think the Fey are monsters. “You’re a human Dae, you can and never will be Fey,” I said to myself, sighing. I just need to find a way out of this fantasy world, but I fear it will be too late if I stay here too long. I fear that I will make attachments to others just like I’ve done with Nimue and Pym. I kept on riding into the woods until I saw a little clearing where Raven and I rested for the night. I set up a small fire, as to not catch much attention from Paladins because I know that they may be somewhere near here. My fight with locals is going to be fine and honestly, I didn’t need to practise but I was exhausted today. I really didn’t have a proper reason to leave Nimue and Pym in Gramaire, but I couldn’t help feeling like I needed to sleep. Just as my thoughts dimed down a little, my back resting on Raven gave up and I finally fell asleep.

I post everyday now! I'm not sure if people are gonna read this but who cares, I'm still gonna post.

The Weeping Queen // Weeping Monk x OC // Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Nimue and I were walking down the trail to her village. My head was swirling, and I felt like I was going to faint. “Wait, I haven’t asked you for your name yet, what are you called?” Nimue asked. My voice was hoarse, but I still answered, “Dae.” She smiled at me but realised that I looked paler than the first time she met me. Cold ran through me and I shivered while feeling nauseous too. “Dae, are you okay?” Nimue worriedly asked. “I feel cold. Too cold,” I mumbled before my legs gave up and I dropped to the ground.
Great, I fainted.
***
A paining ache arose when I woke up. I quickly took in my surroundings. I was on a much softer surface this time, maybe a proper bed. The height of the room was quite low, reaching probably 1.5 metres. And when I looked below me, the ground wasn’t much of a pleasure. It was covered with stone as well as some specks of dirt. Just as I was looking around, I could hear the sound of people walking in, they were blurred as my vision still hadn’t adjusted to the amount of light. But as they came closer, I could recognise one as Nimue. At least there’s one familiar face. The other person was a lot older than Nimue, probably Nimue’s mother, I hope she didn’t mind me staying in her house. “Dae, you’re alright! You had me worried,” Nimue spoke up. I mustered up some strength and sat up in the bed and replied, “thank you for staying with me, I thought you’d leave me there,” I thanked her. The woman next to her rushed to ask me. “Dae, listen to me carefully, is it true, you just woke up in the forest? Nimue told me that you said you got transported from your world to ours,” the seemingly older woman asked. “Yes that’s true, I did wake up randomly in a forest. I’m not sure how though,” I replied with. “Thank the Hidden it is her. The one who was sent to us,” the older woman mumbled under her breath. “Listen Dae, I’m Lenore, Nimue’s mother and you’ve arrived, just as they said. Please reply honestly to this, have you touched anything ancient recently?” she asked. I stayed silent, I could only think of one time and that was when I touched the sword at the cash converters, but that obviously didn’t matter. Well, I guess I’ve got to say something and that is what I will say. “Uhm, yes I think. I may have touched a sword at a shop I went to in my world,” I said. “Did it have writing on it, some sort of ancient language I would say, that glowed when you touched it?” Lenore once again asked. “Yes, it glowed a bright orange and there was this writing on it… I feel like I could understand it somehow, I can’t make out the words, but it was something like ‘Whosoever wields the Sword of Power shall be the one true king’ in English,” I stated.
“Dae, you are powerful, just like Nimue, you both have been cursed. The Hidden sent you here so that you could fight back, you’re our fighter. The Fey’s fighter. From now on, you’ll stay with us, you’ll get accustomed to our culture and lifestyle, I know that where you are from, things are different, but you’ve got to stay with us if you want a way out of here. There is only one thing that will help you. The Sword of Power. The one you touched,” Lenore explained. I couldn’t wrap my head over this. I’m only thirteen! Yes, I may look or be smart, but that doesn’t mean you drag a child into a completely different universe! “Lenore, I’m too young, I cannot fight. I don’t have the slightest idea as to how to hold a sword,” I ranted out. What was I doing here? “Dae, if you do not know, I will teach you, people may live today but die tomorrow in war, it is going to be your job to prevent that in the future. Promise me Dae, that you will protect the Fey, you will do everything in your power to save them,” Lenore spoke. I don’t know about anything but as long as I will have to stay here, I will owe them, what’s better than preventing lives from being taken as a token of gratitude? “I promise, Lenore and Nimue, I will be by your side, and I will protect the Fey to my highest ability,” I took my oath.
After that day, everything changed, my lifestyle, the people I was surrounded by, my clothes and literally everything in my other life had been altered. I looked different than everyone else though, while Nimue and Pym got to wear normal clothes like the village, I had to wear black attire, great for camouflaging in the dark. While Pym, Squirrel and Nimue had their own responsibilities, I had to learn the culture of the Fey, the history and how to wield all sorts of different weapons. I learned how to fight….. just like how Lenore said I would.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anddd, that's a wrap, these past 2 chapters were how you settled in and where you came from so no more cheesy promises or stuff like that. This is my first series and I'm not sure how it'll go though... so yeah. But I'll continue until it's finished.

The Weeping Queen // Weeping Monk x OC // Chapter 1
Tumblr media
.~ PROLOUGE ~. I'm not sure how many chapters there are gonna be but I'll let you know after the story is finished! This is an OC one but I'm also going to make a reader insert the same, but just the names changed.
Also, you're about 13 in this part, it is the part where you become involved with the Fey.
This world is messed up. Every little bit of it. People don’t listen, people don’t talk, people are mean while some people are too nice. I just don’t get it. My school doesn’t get much better though, not when there are little twats running around like they own the place. I have but merely two friends and one whom I never even asked to be friends with. Stupid people running this stupid world. This place would literally be in shambles if my anger could be expressed physically. But sometimes I find it amusing, people going about in their daily lives while having arguments over little things. I’m working on a plot, a plot to make everyone’s lives miserable. I enjoy their twisted eyes staring into my soul, almost like they could kill me. But they can’t. Nobody is capable of killing without being angered enough. They all think they’re above one another, but they just don’t realise that they are all exactly the same.
My part-time job also sucks, the fact that the person who runs the place makes me feel like I’m dumb also annoys me. Intelligence can come in many forms, whether it be academically or just survival skills and logical thinking. I prefer the one where I don’t have to waste my time studying, I simply don’t get the logic in that, study your WHOLE life just to get a paper and a handshake from a person who just went through the same thing? That just doesn’t sit right with me.
PRESENT
My parents and I decided to go to a cash converters store where we could buy things given by other people for a downgraded price. As I made my way into the store, my breath was immediately contaminated with the stench of bicycles rotting so I put up my hand to cover my nose from that foul odour. “Don’t exaggerate so much, Dae! Let’s be in a good mood today, shall we?” My mother encouraged, the words flowing into one ear and out the other.  “Huh, oh yes, good mood. Got it,” I replied with. As I walked deeper into the store, leaving my parents and little brother, I made my way to the paintings area. My eyes floated around, clearly mesmerised at the sight in front. How could one sell such an exquisite painting for FOUR DOLLARS? That’s literally nothing compared to what stood right in front of my eyes. The waterfall and garden looked extremely captivating but there was something else that caught my attention… There on a stand, laid a sword, a majestical sword one would say, it was simply magnificent. My fingers carefully brushed through the blade of the smooth sword. There was also writing, writing that looked quite ancient. I was wondering why a sword like this would be in a painting isle. But my thoughts were short-lived as my parents called me for suggestions on the quilts they had seen. I sighed and made my way over.
That night I went home and ate dinner, which was rice, my favourite! I put my laptop in my laptop bag while grabbing the keys from the back pocket and putting it into the front which would ultimately be easier for me. My body thumped against the bed because of the sudden pressure added. I yawned as my body melted into the soft bed. The relief of the night washing in on me.

My head felt like it was getting pierced by branches while the whole of my lower body felt like it was resting against a stone. The only problem was that when I woke up, a whole forest surrounded me. “What? Where am I, is anyone there!?” My restless voice yelled out. My body jerked into action, and I quickly stood up at the sound of sticks breaking and leaves rustling around me. I don’t know where I am. Is this a dream or what? Some kind of unexplained reverie? I’m not sure but all this seems pretty real to me. The rusting only continued to come nearer and nearer as my breath suddenly quickened. What a morning, is this even a morning? I’m not sure about anything anymore. Tall green trees and traces of flowers growing on the soft garden bed of the woods. Now that I think of it, it wasn’t the best idea to yell out in the woods where literally anything could pounce at you and supposedly end you. As the rustling still continued, I pressed myself against a tree to make myself less visible. But to my surprise, a feminine voice suddenly rang out, “who’s there!? Show yourself!” Seemed to be a girl, probably young, her voice didn’t sound as developed as adults. But the real question was, what was this girl doing in the woods alone? She was likely alone as an adult wouldn’t let her out here herself. Although, for all I know, this could be a fantasy world where pigs fly. I’m not really sure.
I relaxed a little as I saw the face of the voice. She was young, probably as old as me, if not, younger. Her brunette hair contradicted with her icy blue eyes as her attire looked quite different from mine. I stared at her for a solid five seconds and finally broke out of my trance, “who are you, where am I?” I questioned. “Uh, I’m Nimue, and this is the path to our village, do you not know where you are?” she looked puzzled to say the least. “To be honest, I was sleeping in my world, and I suddenly woke up and ended up… here?” I spoke as my panic seemed to arise. Was this the past, another world, another universe!? “Also, why are you dressed like that?” The girl or should I say Nimue asked. “I’m dressed perfectly fine thank you very much. But the real question is, why are you dressed like that,” I said as I compared our clothes. She had braids and it seemed as if she was wearing a black and white outlines cloak, probably with a knee length dress inside as her legs were visible. I looked down at myself and my white fur puffer jacket which always kept me warm, I was wearing long cargo black pants that were of good quality and a simple t-shirt inside. I’m happy that I didn’t change into my nightdress. “I always wear this, everyone wears this. And why are you wearing white? It looks stuffed,” Nimue said. “Well, this may sound crazy, but I think I’ve been transported from my world to yours because of something I’ve done… Also, my jacket is stuffed with something called jute, it’s meant to keep us warm in our world,” I replied to her questions. “I’m sorry for annoying you with my stupid questions but I can take you back to the village if you wish?” Nimue asked. It hadn’t even been a split second before I answered, “of course, I desperately need a place to seek refugee until I can get back to my home.”
It was prohibited to follow a stranger in my world, but this time it felt fine, I need somewhere to stay and this girl doesn’t seem like the kind to kill me in cold blood. Also, I want to get to know more information about this place so I just wanna ask her some questions to know my way around this place. As we were walking, I didn’t have the courage to utter a word, but I was awe-struck at the beauty of the forest as we were walking down the trail. Considering Nimue is using the term ‘village’, I determine that this place must not be as well developed and is probably not modern at all. Even looking at her clothes, in my world, they’d be considered shabby. “So, do you think the village will like me?”. “Maybe, I don’t really know, those old shriveled up onions that are considered elders may like or hate you,” she shrugged. But she suddenly changed her demeanor, “are you a human?” she quickly asked. Wondering why she asked me such a weird question; I nodded my head instead of answering. She gasped, “I’ve never met a human before and I’m pretty sure they may not accept you.” “Aren’t you a human too, Nimue?” I replied with clear confusion. “Well, no. I’m Fey, we have powers, and we can connect with the Hidden!” She said. This was too much for me, I didn’t understand anything. What is the ‘Hidden’? And what is ‘Fey’? All I can hope now is that the village will be welcoming since I’m a human. Or maybe… I just tell them I’m Fey.
