explaining old praetorium to people who never experienced it makes me feel like a crazy person. like yeah there were 8 players there. the tanks pulled every single add so that the rest of the party could hit a button, then they pulled two full hallways of enemies so the party could skip ahead, and sure they usually died but it was prae so that didn't matter.
then after the first boss you had to get on the elevator. all 8 of you. at the same time. yeah if we forgot someone we have to go back. then every single person has to pick up a key to turn on the magitek armor and get on another elevator. hope you didn't miss that one.
nero was whatever but gaius barely did any mechanics, he really just fell over. then you'd have the whole ultima weapon fight, which was two phases and one of them you barely did any damage. oh and at the end you fought lahabrea. if you were lucky he was Lahabread and if he lived more than ten seconds it was a miracle. congrats for spending 45 minutes of your life in prae, have some exp.

I love articles like this.
The real wisdom of Solomon, however, came from user’s complaints that Skag Gully, one of the game’s earliest areas, had too many eponymous Skags. Players reported that they were running into too many clusters of enemies while moving through the Gully, offering feedback like, “this isn’t fun, this is boring.” Gearbox, as a result, tripled the number of Skags in the area. “All of a sudden, it wasn’t a travel area that had too many enemies getting in the way,” Armstrong said. “It was a combat area.”
The absolute madness to respond to feedback by just doing the opposite, and yet it works!! There's lessons to be learned here.

the market is pretty tumultuous right now, but not to worry! i have some Wizard Investment tips for you. for instance—if you’ve got the funds for it, real estate is almost always a safe bet. personally i bought a timeshare in Atlantis some 7,000 years ago, and i can’t wait to see what kind of dividends it’s paid off!

Why does nobody ever talk about how weird Maryland is?
Nobody ever talks about Maryland, period. It’s like they forget it’s a state. There’s no real stereotypes about people from Maryland, because it’s right in the middle of the east coast, EXCEPT everyone from Maryland is obsessed with crabs and Old Bay seasoning. You may think I’m exaggerating, but my friend’s brother used to actually drink Old Bay straight. The only time I ever saw my boyfriend look at me with anything other than pure love and respect was when I said that I thought crabs served in the shell were overrated. McDonalds in Maryland serves Filet-o-Fish WITH OLD BAY SEASONING. Once I saw a production of The Little Mermaid in Maryland, and the actor playing the chef sang “now some Old Bay!” instead of “now some flour,” and the audience burst into rapturous applause in the middle of the song. Old Bay is as essential to Marylanders as flour.
The official state sport of Maryland is jousting. No joke.
And once, I went to a McDonalds’ down the road from Camp David while George W. Bush was staying there, and there were free-range chickens who lived in the parking lot. It made me uncomfortable.
Edgar Allan Poe, John Waters, Frank Zappa, and F. Scott Fitzgerald are all  from Maryland. Oh, and John Wilkes Booth. Something weird is in the water there. My money’s on Old Bay.

Surprise! Tumblr just got turned into an epic fantasy RPG, just like [your favorite appropriate media franchise]. And the Tumblr RPG's plot needs to have all of its characters covered, in roles both large and small.
That means that you are assigned to a stereotypical RPG role inside our new fantasy world. Spin this wheel to find out what you are now doing for a living.

You discover that you have control over a certain thing, as determined by spinning this wheel. We're talking full-on magical girl/superhero/supervillain/your label of choice control.
