So, some concerns

It took me four years since coming out, I'm finally 18, and I'm talking to my (diabetes) Endo about getting me into the gender clinic in his hospital.

But I'm still worried.

In years past, I've been so sure that this is what I've wanted. This is the only thing I could want! But as I've gotten closer, I've started to have anxiety about actually transitioning.

What if I'm not actually trans? What if I'm just a tomboy? What if I've lied to myself and everyone else for the past four years? Could I go back and admit that I was wrong? What happens if I want to de-transition?

I worry that I'm just going to feel so much regret once I start, and that if that happens, I'll just be stuck, because of how many people I've come out to.

For (a tad late) context, I'm pretty freshly 18, and for the past few years I've identified as a gay trans man. I've had unsupportive parents, and have dealt with constant misgendering and the like, not only by family but by the general public, as I don't pass as well as I want. I'm sort of in touch with my feminine side. My (what I perceive as) dysphoria bad a tendency to fluctuate in intensity, making me sometimes question if I even HAVE dysphoria. It could be dysmorphia, as a lot of it is focused on my hips.

So basically, this is a post asking you guys:

A.) Does this seem normal to anyone else?

B.) Have any of you been through this too?

C.) What did you guys decide to do about this?

i’m happy that mcu peter’s spidey sense isn’t being shown as a miracle worker, like i’m happy peter’s sense went off to danger that was laughably close to peter. people have this misconception (mainly due to the 2002 spidey films) that his spidey sense will give peter a heads up to threats wayyyyy in advance, but that’s not the case. like there have been many times when peter’s spidey sense doesn’t really alert him to danger until the danger is really close, sometimes close enough that regular people have already noticed said danger.

and even then, peter often ignores it bc it can go off to things that aren’t necessarily a threat but COULD be. like a wad of paper being thrown at him by flash, a puddle on the floor that could make him slip. so sometimes peter just ignores it bc it goes off all the time to shit that really isn’t that dangerous. the sense is basically like a really reliable, and sometimes annoying, gut-feeling. the spidey sense is so cool but it’s still a sense not that different from sight or hearing or taste or touch, and it isn’t all powerful or always very helpful.

i’m losing my mind

I really like the idea of Bucky knowing ASL from his days in ye old war. It makes sense (to me, at least.) Communicate with people on the field when your opponent has no idea what you're saying. Guns are loud and without proper protection can cause hearing loss, so with all the weaponry and everything happening, including wounds, having a way to talk after all of that would be good.

If you ever feel like you have a limitation stopping you from doing anything just remember that half of the Deaf West Spring Awakening cast was deaf, Krysta Rodriguez was battling breast cancer, Andy Mientus has a rare neurological disorder, claustrophobia, and is openly bisexual, Ali Stroker is in a wheel chair and was the first person to be on Broadway in a wheel chair, Alex Boniello has anxiety, Katie Boeck lost her dad shortly after opening night, Treshelle Edmond felt like she wasn’t suppose to be here. There was so much representation in that cast and there is so much hope that you can do anything you set your mind to.

Fiyero who smiles and waves at random little kids and babies and toddlers he’s never even met before that he sees on the street or wherever else when he realizes they’re looking at him.

Fiyero who is completely willing to go out of his way to be nice to strangers, even if it’s just holding a door open for someone.

Fiyero who always does his best to be polite, no matter what situation he might be in, but who also won’t put up with rude assholes.

Fiyero who always leaves really good tips at restaurants.

Fiyero whose first instinct when he sees someone that’s sad is to try and make them laugh in whatever way he can, even if it means he has to make himself look like a complete idiot in public.

Fiyero who tries to always have at least a little bit of spare change on him just in case he sees someone on the street without a home who needs the help.

Fiyero who interacts with strays on a regular basis; he pets them, gives them scraps of any food he may happen to have, and if he knows there’s an animal shelter nearby and is able to get to where they’ll let him pick them up and carry them, he’ll take them there so that he knows they’re off the streets and in a safe place where they’ll be taken care of.

Fiyero who is constantly doing his very best to be a good person, who performs random acts of kindness every day, no matter how small they may be, and who just wants to try and make the world a little better however he’s able to.
