Durham Heritage Coast is a lovely place to visit and highly recommend it. The sound of crashing waves while you walk along the paths is music to your ears, and a sea breeze blowing out the cobwebs.

1 year and 2 weeks

Hey guys,

Just want to say a huge congratulations to all those who have kept up the good work and still going a year later.

I have to say its one of the biggest achievements I've made and feel so proud! The smell of smoke now makes me feel ill. Which is great! Haha No temptation to start again. Even through the trying times of the past year its not what I need anymore.

Also been so much healthier! No chest infections and horrid colds I cant get rid of. It really does make a huge difference to your life!

My advice to all the newbies who are doing great to be 2 weeks into Stoptober! Well done! It will get easier and its so worth it, trust me!

My challenge! #mushroom

I have had a wonderful and lucky weekend with my new Camera Canon 600D I decided to take her out for a spin since the weather on Saturday was so perfect for getting out and about. 

It was magical seeing the first signs of spring coming and the forest coming to life, with tiny pockets of snowdrops and pods of daffodils coming through.

I decided to try a few new angles and was glad that they paid off. All using the 18-55mm IS Macro Kit lens but still produced some lovely shots and I am happy with it. 

I will be ordering a new lens this week which I have decided will be the 55-250mm IS USM MK2 and in few months to come 50mm F1.4. I do think that I will then be happy with my selection of lenses and can save to get the mighty 24-105mm.
