I was recently reminded of an old fanfiction I took down a few years ago called “It’s Never Easy”

It was a human AU about Clank moving to a new town in his sophomore year of high school. It focused a lot on a traumatic event he experienced and how it impacted him.

I took it down because it had gotten to be a mess and I didn’t know how to fix or finish it and I was unhappy keeping an eternally unfinished work on ao3.

But after I had been asked about it, I went back and found it in my old files. This story was over 90k words and was no where near being finished. I reread the whole thing and while it was a mess with plenty of things I’d love to change, there were still some ideas there that I liked… even if it made no sense.

For some reason I had Clank know French. I made him and Terence brothers. Bobble was ridiculously confident in himself, but also was clearly hiding something very personal.

What made even less sense was that I threw in characters from other media that really had no business being mixed in with Disney fairies. But hey, crossovers do exist. I liked the idea of a big, gruff, scary looking character like Roadhog having a soft spot for Periwinkle and treating her like his granddaughter. I liked Clank getting sessions with the therapist from Monk. It was weird, but I liked it.

But again, I didn’t know the ending. I didn’t know what I was building toward. I didn’t know how to take these nonsense ideas and bring them to a satisfying conclusion. But after rereading it, I kind of want to see if I can find that ending. It’s like an itch in the back of my head that I can’t scratch. I have so many things I should, and want to be working on right now, but my thoughts keep drifting back to It’s Never Easy.

Im having a lot of fun with this rough draft im working on, but I realize I don’t have enough creative not-swears. Like I know Bobble uses “splinters” and “snail-brain” but I can’t think of a time Clank used a not-swear in the movies, so I kind of just have him say stuff like “stars above” like he did in patient.

But I also feel like there could be more talent related not-swears like when Rosetta said “you scared the petals right off of me!” But I’ll be honest, I do have trouble thinking of them sometimes. So if anyone has any talent based not-swears, feel free to send them to me 😅😅😅

Now that Disney Emoji Blitz has added Vidia and Periwinkle to the lineup I can’t help but wonder if they’re done adding Disney fairies to the game or if there’s a chance my dears Clank and Bobble will be added next year.

Realistically I don’t expect them to be added any time soon if at all given how much they’re sidelined. We’d be more likely to get Zarina and Nyx if they’re adding more fairies next year.

But I’m still gonna hold out hope that maybe, just maybe I’ll get to play as the tinker boys someday!

Comic idea I’d totally draw if I could draw comics:

Tink is complaining to Clank while Bobble works off to the side…

Tink: “And then I turned red again! Do you have any idea how embarrassing that is?!”

Clank: “Don’t worry miss Bell. You’re not the only one who turns red. Watch this!”

Clank turns and kisses Bobble on the cheek.

Bobble, who hadn’t been paying attention turns bright red. Clank turns back to Tink and says “See?” while Tink covers a laugh, thinking ‘cute!’

is it just me thinking Clank meant by Vidia when he said "just be carefull" to Tinkerbell?

the 2 Tinker fairy questioned Tinkerbell before leaving when Tink flew away from them but it's Clank who questioned Tinkerbell with concerns "can you find your way back?" ("sure, sure i will" Tink answered and nodded) "just be carefull" i think the latter one he meant Vidia by it but maybe it's just me though? (i can't blame Clank, i used to lable Vidia as "the bad guy" in this movie, not gonna lie)

so, I got so into RK fanfictions about, so...I wanted to make a fanart about Bobble ....(not only of their AU, but make something,I can't explain how maybe is like a cought/cold that I got from this person)

I guess i made my imagination flight with some pixie dust...

So, just bc my mom brings me this skecthbook for just do things (I alredy have specific ones to draw with 150gr and all stuff)
