[ Thought ] Casey is Eide.

I was gonna write this at some point after finishing the game thrice, but then it got flushed off my mind and only recently the former reblogged post recalls it.

Casey has a chance to be Eide. Why? He’s a cat, he went missing for 5-6 months, and specially, most noticeably : He howls. Remember the part when Gregg sticks a crossbow bolt into Eide’s shoulder? He howls at that part. As ( most of ) you may have know, peoples in this game aren’t actually animals, because they never act like them, plus, a cat howls? The howling is what Gregg and Mae do too, so that concludes : in the past, Casey, Gregg and Mae usually done that with each other, like a slogan of the gang. Casey must’ve been heavily brainwashed and joined the cult, but he might still have some memories about them, so that’s why all of the sudden, he howls.

Also, he could’ve brought a gun with him and finished the gang off after Gregg made permanent damage to him, but something tells me that he was stuck between the idea of trying to hold them back, and killing them. I would be ultimately sad if that’s true.
