Rise of the Tomb Raider Coming to Windows 10 and Steam January 28
Following the December release on Xbox One and Xbox 360, Square Enix is excited to announce the critically-acclaimed Rise of the Tomb Raider will launch for Windows 10 and Steam on January 28th.
“The PC release of Rise of the Tomb Raider continues the positive momentum from our highly successful partnership and collaboration with Microsoft for the launch on Xbox One and Xbox 360,” said Scot Amos co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics.
Bringing Lara’s first great tomb raiding expedition to life in stunning new detail, Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes Software have added numerous features, including Windows 10 support and 4K resolution.
“PC players are a passionate, devoted audience and we know they’ll embrace the version created for their systems,” said Ron Rosenberg, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics.
The PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be available as a digital download via Steam, the Windows 10 store, Amazon, the Square Enix e-store, and other major retailers, both in-store and online. Standard edition pricing is $59.99. The Digital Deluxe edition is $89.99, and includes the Season Pass for current and future DLC.
A collector’s edition, which include the Digital Deluxe version of the game, a 12-inch Lara Croft statue, replicas of Lara’s journal and jade necklace, and a steel case, will also be available from the Square Enix e-store for $149.99.
Rise of the Tomb Raider for PC is available to pre-order today at BUYROTTR.com.

Coming Soon - Lara Croft: Relic Run Hello Everyone!
Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have been working with the talented team at Simutronics,‏ who are developing the all-new Lara Croft: Relic Run. Many of you have correctly mused that Relic Run is an adventure runner, and at its core it is, but we feel that it’s much more than that. Relic Run offers a massive amount of diversity in play, allowing for seamless transitions between acrobatic-inspired running, combat, vehicles, and epic boss fights, including but not limited to the return of the infamous T-Rex.
We’ve soft launched on iOS and Android in The Netherlands this morning, and we encourage our Dutch fans to give the game a try. You’ll be helping us ensure all the kinks are ironed out and the game is optimized for the full launch.
Lara Croft: Relic Run will be free-to-play, launching on iOS, Android, and Win8 Phone and we’re aiming for a global release in the coming months.
Like the other games in the Lara Croft brand, Relic Run will scratch your itch for nostalgic play – big adventure, over-the-top action, and loads of collectibles coupled with fast-paced play.
That’s all the news for now. We hope you’re excited to give Lara Croft: Relic Run a go!
- CrystalD

We’re super excited to announce that the full Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris soundtrack will be released for free on our newly-created SoundCloud account.

Are you a music aficionado and want even more insight into the soundtrack? Check out The Music of Tomb Raider, one of our official fansites, for an exclusive interview with Roget.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris launches tomorrow, December 9, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Secure yours at BuyLaraCroft.com.
"The [Lara Croft Overture] presents Lara’s theme, performed on the English horn by Kristin Naigus. This was the first piece I wrote for the score, with the intention of creating a sonic guide for the rest of the soundtrack. I focused on showing the juxtaposition between Lara’s posh, educated British upbringing and her perilous archeological adventures. While most of this track intentionally steers clear of overtly Egyptian sounds, its ending introduces an Arabic flavor that characterizes the rest of the score.”
- Wilbert Roget, II / Lead Composer, Music Supervisor
