Hello! I am sorry to say that last month I had back surgery and, due to complications, require another surgery in a few weeks. I thusly have not had any time to write. I am disappointed to say that I will be indefinitely postponing the next update / completion of this story. Hopefully I get around to it within the next few months, but with everything going on...I just don't know. Sorry everyone! Hope you're well. :)

tl;dr: atlw is on hiatus and i apologize! just got a lot going on atm.

Hi!! I hope college apps went well for u last week! Just wanted u to know that so many parts of the last 2 chapters of ATLW have left me grinning like a fool. Like on multiple occasions I had to put my phone down and just smile at the wall. I LOVE Katara and Zuko's friendship so far - the mutual acceptance/understanding/trust in each other :,), the TEASING, him keeping her WARM, the FAKE-MARRIED TROPE, "CLEAN" (I laugh every time). This story makes me so happy! I cant wait for next Sunday! :)

(2/2) the ship and be her rock was perfect. I love how they’re getting to trust each other. Katara at the end was awesome too, her feelings came through so clearly. Her smiling and being happy was the best. Thank you so much for writing this wonderful fic!! I just feel the need to tell you how much I love it and your writing!

I can’t tell you how much I love this fic. Seriously. I get so excited on Sunday, it’s definitely the highlight of my weekend! I literally pause when I’m reading it because it’s so intense and I CANNOT HANDLE THE FEELS. I was like giddy near the end of this chapter because FRIENDSHIP PHASE. I cannot express how much I love how you portray Zuko; I think you’ve nailed him, in all his hurt, how his past affects him, his temper, his anger, and his softness for Katara. Having him guide her (1/2)

heyyyyy so sorry i didn’t message you last week but school was absolutely kicking my ass lol BUT as per usual i was doing my apush hw and i had a gut feeling you’d updated so i checked and you had!!!!! anyways like always i LOVED this chapter (and the last one) and it’s getting me sooo excited for them to get even closer. i’m especially looking forward to katara finding out about the scar hehe. anyways i gotta get back to my apush but can’t wait for the next update & good luck w college apps!!!
