Since I’m almost done with season one of Supernatural, I’ve decided to write down what I interpret as the formula for any given episode. It goes as follows:

Something goes wrong somewhere and someone dies. Sam and Dean are on the case. Cue lots of impersonation and bad acting. They also argue. Sam gets his shit rocked. One of the brothers decides to try sacrificing themself (flip a coin as to who, it depends on the episode. Regardless, Sam will still end up with his shit rocked). The day is saved with the power of brotherhood.

Eventually I’m guessing the gay yearning gets added in there, but I haven’t met Castiel yet.
