Awesome gift I got, perfect for Silver month!

Absolutely love that they’re pairing Silver with John Stewart. Silver being a Green Lantern makes so much sense because one, Silver’s telekinetic abilities does fit with the ability to create anything using willpower, and two, Silver has been described as having a strong sense of justice, which fits perfectly with the values of the Green Lantern Corp!

I think that’s about all I’ll play tonight! I did take some video so I’ll definitely try and get that uploaded here so you can all see some raw race footage. Overall I had a really good time! The racing is a definite improvement over TSR (which had good racing IMO, just more arcade style than usual) and this feels a lot closer to Transformed in my opinion! I will say that the game can be a bit overwhelming at times, bordering at sensory overload as not only is everything so fast (as one would hope a Sonic game and a racing game would be) but the items fly fast! While it does add to a fun sort of chaos, close to the ranks of Mario Kart Wii (in fact the item balancing is heavily reminiscent of MK Wii, whether that’s a good or bad thing you can decide), it can be a bit difficult to tell what’s going on at times. It’s especially hard to see towards the end of races when everyone starts to cluster together towards the finish line, leading to some hard to understand visuals. (I will say that these clusters are extremely fun and lead to some crazy close races, just that they can be a bit much to look at) But I feel that just comes with the territory of breakneck racing speeds, so definitely take that into consideration when this game fully releases!

The Sonic Crossworld Closed Beta Observations and Opinions Thread!

Hi Hi everyone! This is where I'll be posting all my thoughts and observations about Crossworlds. As such there will be spoilers for the game, so tread carefully if you wish to experience the game blind! I'll be updating this via reblogs so check there for new observations!(apologies if that's not the right way to start threads on Tumblr, I'm still getting used to this site so feel free to correct me!)

Who are you all looking forward to being playable in Sonic Racing Crossworlds, whether they’re in the base game or DLC? Since we have confirmation that there will be Sega characters as well as Sonic Prime characters, there’s a lot of possibilities! (One might even say “endless” lol) Personally on the Sega side of things I think it would be awesome to see Kazuma Kiryu, Nights, Ristar, Beat, Gum, or Hatsune Miku! I think the most likely are Nights and Miku as they’ve both been given DLC treatment in recent years regarding Sonic and Sega. (Forces and Banana Blitz) As for Sonic spin-offs, I’d love to see IDW characters as well as some Paramount characters! I don’t know how well the Paramount characters would work because of copyright reasons (we weren’t even allowed to use movie Shadow outside of the Tokyo level in SXS) but I really want to main Agent Stone lol.
