i've had multiple people tag this spoilers and another person asking if this is from nona. it's the very beginning of gideon the ninth. like within the first couple pages. y'all. i know i have some spoilerific art, but this one is not. 😭

i promise i don’t exclusively draw tlt these days; it’s just that i started several sketches trying to get more of the *vibes* of specific scenes/environments in tlt so i can share my vision for people. for some reason i want to give the ninth a very sickly green glow, like the place is cartoonishly radioactive.

been sketching out this sexy piranha plant peach since katsucon and making very very slow progress. it feels outside my normal style, but i think i need to do more of that because idek what my style is these days.

i did a bit more cleanup/shading, but here’s a side by side with the Too Big Eyes version. it’s just,.. a bit much,.

went down a rabbit hold trying to relearn how to draw people and specifically men all so i could draw a very pretty one. still waiting on my hold to read the prisoner’s throne, but here is a cardan art as an offering to make the library holds list go faster.

this makes me so happy!! i actually love hearing that folks completely unaware of the context can still enjoy my fanart because it means it can stand on its own! even better if it gets them interested enough to try reading the books, but i know that can be a big ask. 🙈 happy 2024! 🎆

did some ask box trick or treating over on my main blog last night! here’s the cute lil halloweeny treat spot illustrations i did on the fly for the occasion. i do a lot of seasonal decor design work for my day job, but rarely stuff i get share, so it was fun doing something in that vein all my own for a change.

Okay I have two historical dresses I want to try and make as future halloween costumes. I need help deciding which I should do first.

1. Idea I’ve had longer and already made a first attempt at- Sexy Lucretia Borgia: recreate this look, but cut it short. Ya know, be just another cunty bitch in the papal throne, but the first girlie to do it :)

Desperately need help finding the right fabric. That’s the reason I didn’t like my first attempt.

2. Marie Antoinette style- 18th century Robe à la polonaise meets 1970s: deep blue silk, all matching trim, some black beading. But instead of an underskirt I’d wear bell bottoms that also have deep blue silk ruffles at the bottom to accentuate the bell. Heavily inspired by them :) by @toughtinkart
