It has been so much fun exploring Russia with @cosmosalone200 August 6, 2017 Went to an Oceanarium today. Frogs and fishes and sharks, oh my! August 7, 2017 Went to this huge indoor family climbing area/jungle gym. Things went pretty great till they stopped being great and everything was pain. So I decided to give archery a try. I generally like archery but my hands were still raw from the ropes and this just made it worse. August 8, 2017 Amusement park today. THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!! Sandwiches were nice. Meat chips were just meh. August 9, 2017 Went to an aqua park today. Water slides are sweet but a literal pain. This place has a LOT of different saunas. Tried out the infrared one. Isn’t bad. Went to this huge indoor family climbing area/jungle gym. Things went pretty great till they stopped being great and everything was pain. So I decided to give archery a try. I generally like archery but my hands were still raw from the ropes and this just made it worse.

@larazilibowitz shares her experience in Ghana This extraordinary oasis in Dzita, in the Volta region of Ghana has been my home for the past 2 weeks. 🌴 Waking up every morning like a kid on Christmas morning 🤗 ~ bounding out of bed with jubilation for another day to savour the absolute privilege of being here: 🙏🏽 To stomp this sacred continent with my bare feet; To make my hands swollen with the slapping of djembe skin; To sing to the stars in Ewe ~ the melodic tonal language of our beautiful teachers; To learn about the intricacies of the local culture and be invited to partake in their traditions; To witness rare turtles laying their eggs by this lagoon at sunset; To drink fresh coconuts and eat the most deeeeeelicious Ghanaian cuisine (no cutlery required); And and and andddd just REJOICE in the feelings of gratitude and joy that are quite regularly seeping out of my tear ducts also... 😌❤��💥 Prettttttty prettttty pretty much in my element. Still on the Russian experience with @cosmosalone200 July 22, 2017 Went out of the city to a flower festival today. It was held at the park of one the old palaces. I forget whose palace though. Lot of squirrels running. Luckily, I remembered an old trick and got them to come really close to me. Went out of the city to a flower festival today. It was held at the park of one the old palaces. I forget whose palace though. Lot of squirrels running. Luckily, I remembered an old trick and got them to come really close to me.

It rained quite a bit and, at one point, got so cold that we had a bit of a snow/hail hybrid.

Tried Starbuck coffee today. Wasn’t bad but definitely not worth the cost. Had a double cheeseburger at McDonalds, tastes really good but I’ve seen single burgers bigger than that.

Sent entirely too much time/coins on a scissor version of a claw machine. Won zilch.

Found a simulation gun arcade and shot a bunch of western thugs.

Found a place called The Maze of Fear. Got sent in with another lady and a guy. Suddenly it became the maze of humour to me.

Dude in a monster mask jumped out at us. Pretty sure I terrified him when I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek.

Happy Sunday. @oyooquartey says a travel experience with us. ... Two days of escaping city life has been so necessary for me eh 😩.. I was near breaking point. I finally decided I needed some serious me time. Did you also know it's completely okay to say no to people? You cannot be everywhere and at every event. It's not only stressful but it moves your eye from your set goals and priorities. I had to say no to some event invitations because I knew I had other priorities and in fact I know my limitations...definitely not superwoman 👨‍🎤( is this the emoji for superwoman?🤔) So I took off for the Western Region and spent some time at @beachkosa. I did a bit of walking and exploring the beach and ended up at Planters Lodge @plantersadmin. I was a bit disappointed to know that Planters had changed management, an information I only got to know today 😯 but funny enough I could tell in the dinner I had last night. Subtle change. Know your limits and when to say no politely. The daily hustle is real but so is our mental and emotional health.
