The Sinners Movie was overall Dope. Definitely was a movie designed to appreciate your heritage that stems from black people hailing in America🌎

One thing I found interesting is Ryan Coogler inspiration for the twins aspect. As seen above he mentions how he was inspired by the Yoruba Twin dieties Ibeji. He also mentioned it resonates because he has twins within his family. I also had that in common as well. My Paternal 2x Great Grandpa was a twin and helped raised my Papa(Paternal Grandfather) . And on my mother's side I was told there were 7/8 sets of twins . Now I will say not all made it to full term but I know of at least 3 sets of twins I knew and my mother grew up with. Definitely a dope aspect overall

Recently The Wheel of Time was cancelled

This is just another show added to my PTSD influenced attachment of magic based shows😭. For real though I mentioned before how when it came to reading new manga I had PTSD due to many series I really liked being cancelled. Similarly Magic shows I've been liking over the yrs have been getting cancelled or not enough seasons 😵‍💫. Reason that sucks is because magic & Sci-fi shows are my two sought after live action shows

Shows like these two I feel had conclusions at least but still overall left me with the feeling another season thrown within the show could've made it feel not so rushed & condensed

These more specifically have all been cancelled shows I really liked and would've wanted more .

Not finishing magic shows should be treated as treason and companies should be punished for it 😭. Folks gotta make it a law that minimally 4 seasons are needed if you're doing a high fantasy show 💯

In a recent episode of American Gods the character Bilquis made a great transformation in regards to characters...Her journey is reflective of the black experience on a national level..For awhile she was lost in the perception of what others thought of her..The image of being a parasitic esque whore character was an identity she took on after losing her sense of self. This in relation to how when black folks lost their sense of self with the spread of colonization, our natural mental & physical states diminished due lack of care. Whether it be the Sara Baartman account or others black folks were/are prized for their sexuality the most while being in our current amnesiac state .. Black to the vid Bilquis would go on to be contacted by fellow gods of the Orisha pantheon & be reminded of a key concept in ancient black civilizations..I=We...The individual thought back in those days were a minority compared to the group thought which reflected growth as a whole community & not individualism like we have now..This scene also shows how when the ancestors made the neters/Orisha, that all these gods were inside & part of you

Been Following Goddess Aayanna for years now. Love her talks about Black Men & Women/Black Love. This right here was a well needed message 👌🏿. Centuries ago he would share his thoughts and research on ancient cultures. In this collection it would be his views on the Hypoborean race and Atlantean race. The latter he's admitting ( in a world just centuries ago) he considers the Atlanteans synonymous with the Black Race🤯. And in the notes of the 2nd page he mentions how he says the Tartarians = Asiatics. The latter which I've showed above and countless times showcased dark skinned people in the past although this truth has been long forgotten . Also what makes his point important is that he wouldn't be privy to modern brainwashing of saying Tartary didn't exist at all or any dumbing down. For him to say it implies it was a word used amongst his peers at the time💯.
