I am not a religious person, but sometimes you get a weird and interesting podcast in that vein. So... Let's talk about The Gospel of the Flood from Jonas Kyratzes and @astronautdown . The Gospel of the Flood is an philosophical, apocalypse, religiously-framed fiction podcast that seems to be set inspecifically in the modern day. On the day the continents started to sink into the ocean, our main character, a priest, loses his faith. It just evaporates from him. Gone. And so, he travels to visit his brothers in faith. He wants to see how they're fairing, do they still have their faith? What are they doing now that the ocean is rapidly rising? Now that the world is literally and metaphorically sinking. Can he do something/ anything in the face of global death? Can he/should he reclaim his faith? The show is introspective, gentle, and philosophical. As an atheist who was brought up Christian, believe me when I say, I'm not looking for "God" based content. But this is an interesting one. What does a miracle mean when someone survives a large scale event above all those other people? Can something be a miracle for one, when hundreds, thousands, millions die. Surely God can't have only looked at one person. It's desturbing when you zoom out and think about it for too long. What does a prophet look like? What would you do in the face of global annulation? 7, 15 minute episodes of moral philosophy that will either confirm your faith, or your atheism, depending on how you look at it. *Shrug* So, if you like thoughtful philosophy, maybe like if Almehem had a baby with The Tower? Or maybe with Still Lives? Then, The Gospel of the Flood is for you! #drama #dramapodcast #postapocalyptic #specfic #speculativefiction #fictionpodcasts #podcastsunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #gospeloftheflood #moralphilosophy #religion #christianity #christianityasaframingnarrative #jonaskyratzes #chrischristodoulou https://www.instagram.com/p/CpzEcInOjBG/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Lets talk about The Monster Hunters from @definitelyhumanproductions . Yes, yes! I'm still on my Definitely Human kick. The Monster Hunters is a fiction, 1970s action show/James Bond, comedy homage podcast about Roy Steel--aging man of action/kinda skeevy ladies man, and (now) the world's second greatest big game hunter, and Lorrimer Chesterfield--professor and all around man of knowledge/brains of the operation. Lorrimer solves the crimes and Roy kicks the bad guys butts with his special brand of martial arts--Steel-kedo! Often they're given jobs from their sometime patron, Sir Maxwell House. The guys specialize in defeating the supernatural, vampires, werewolves, yetis, creepy mirrors, if you can think of it, Roy can punch it, or Lorrimer can solve it! It's fun and funny. That's 58, 30-60 minute episodes. So, if you like a far more subtle Austin Powers, Sherlock Holmes nods, or are a connoisseur of 1970s horror/crime solving teams, then The Monster Hunters is for you! #definitelyhuman #comedypodcast #horrorpodcast #Fictionpodcasts #podcastsunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #themonsterhunters #monsterhunters #1970s #actionadventure #supernatural #roysteel #lorrimerchesterfield #steelkedo https://www.instagram.com/p/Cpekftyut2Q/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Let's talk about Derek Kong, Private Detective from @moonedrama . Derek Kong, Private Detective is a Noir homage fiction podcast set in Malaysia. Derek is just a private dick, trying to get by when he's hired by a waitress--with a suspiciously deep pocket--to track down a missing man. He's one of the cyclists who frequents the shop. But where is he? How did the waitress get so much cash? What I really love about this show is not just tongue-in-cheek nods to noir tropes--narration by the story's protagonist, a beautiful client, etc. it also adds a unique Malaysian flavor, from the way they take their coffee, local language peppered in, cultural slice of life stuff. It's fabulous. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, how many shows are we missing by just not speaking the language. 🥺 Not that I'm at a loss for shows, I just enjoy learning about new places, and stories with fresh perspectives! Just 2, 30ish minute episodes so far with Derek's first case, but recently talked to the creator on Reddit, and they're currently working on getting sponsorship--some advertisers think it might be too niche! So if you listen, and like the show, give it a shout, rate and review! Tell them there's *always* room for noir, and fresh perspectives! So, if you like Noir-style detective stories and want to encourage more English language audiodrama from stereotypically non-english language locales, then Derek Kong, Private Detective is for you! #podcastsunday #fiction #oldtimeradio #derekkong #derekkongprivatedetective #moonedrama #audiodramasunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #mysterypodcast #mystery #noir #noirfiction #detective #detectivemystery #malaysia #malaysiapodcast #malaysianfiction https://www.instagram.com/p/CpRq14euU-u/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Well it's been a minute since we've done a true crime review, so... Let's talk about Bondi Badlands from @sydneymorningherald and @theageaustralia . Bondi Badlands is an Australian True Crime limited series, and is part of my ongoing initiative to find English language podcasts from every country in the world. Australia being a pretty easy pull. Back in the 1980s and early 90s, gay men around Bondi Beach were dying, with police discounting their deaths as suicides, because...of course they did. These murders were only some of the gay hate crimes sweeping Sydney as the irrational hysteria of the AIDS epidemic fomented hate across the globe--and Australia was just one of the many places on the wrong side of history as far as LGBTQIA+ people were concerned. But when a popular TV news reader becomes a victim, they finally start investing, like they should have been all along. Being beaten and pushed off cliffs, there was someone, or someones, killing gay men in the Bondi area under cover of night. Over a decade later, the crime was finally solved. Who committed these heinous acts, and how was the case finally solved, you'll need to tune in to find out. That's 5, 30-40 minute episodes. So, if you like True Crime, esp. True Crime for a case that got solved, and investigative journalism, then Bondi Badlands is for you! #truecrime #crimepodcast #truecrimepodcast #solved #solvedtruecrime #truecrime #nonfictionpodcast #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommendations #recommend #podcastsunday #trypod #australia #bondi #bondibeach #gay #gaypodcast #lgbtpodcast #lgbtqiaplus #lgbtq #sydneymorningherald #theage #bondibadlands #australiantruecrime https://www.instagram.com/p/CpJ8_ldOEw6/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

If I'm truly bias against any pod genre it's actual play podcasts. I'm only in D&D for the story. Just ask anyone I've ever gamed with. But there are a few shows actually I've really enjoyed, so... Let's talk about The Infinite Bad also from @definitelyhumanproductions . The Infinite Bad is an comedy, horror, Actual Play podcast that brings together aspects of 5e D&D, D20 modern, and Call of Cthulhu. The story is set during the Inter-war period, and begins in Britain--where 4 strangers meet on the way to visit relatives staying at a country manor turned hospital. But when people turn up dead and/or mysteriously disappeared, and strange occurances happen overnight, will our 4 unlikely companions make it out alive and with their sanity intact?? Will they follow the trail of teeth (and creepy hands) across the world to uncover and defeat the mystery? There only one way to find out! That's 65, 30ish minute episodes all wrapped up and complete. What I love about this series is that despite being actual play, it's a very will crafted story, the players remain consistent in their characters and the DM gives good flavor to the story based off their rolls. Also, no one is too pedantic about the rules or pushing what they think they should be. It's peak D&D as a story vehicle, just the way I like it. Also, special shout-out to Maximillian John (also of Mars Corp) whose older, aristocratic, British lady of the post-Victorian period, Cornelia Cavendish, is a constant source of joy. Pure gold. So, if you love a good dice guided story without some massive game mechanic lead in, all things Definitely Human, and some solid gothic horror comedy, then The Infinite Bad is for you! #actualplay #actualplaypodcast #actualplaydnd #theinfinitebad #definitelyhuman #comedypodcast #horrorpodcast #interwar #maximillianjohn #Fictionpodcasts #podcastsunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday https://www.instagram.com/p/CorH6u5OMWH/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

In honor of the shows return in December, from an almost 5 year hiatus... Let's talk about The International Worldwide Biscuit Review Podcast from @definitelyhumanproductions . A little different from other podcasts I've reviewed, The International Worldwide Biscuit Review Podcast is a funny, non-fiction show where the two Davids from Definitely Human Productions (authors of The Bunker, MarsCorp, The Infinite Bad, etc.) eat British biscuits, cookies, and things that *might* secretly be cakes (shhh) for appearance, edibility, dunkability, and biscuitness. The guys bring their dark nihilist humor to bare on everything from chocolate digestives to Oreos and everything in between. Some are delicious, some are barely palettable, and for 10 seconds one of the Davids considered a break from Britishness when he discovered the amazing change of dunking an Oreo in milk instead of tea! 🤯 Luckily other David shamed him out of it. Oreos are the 4th of July episode (God Bless America). And it is the funniest IMO (God bless America). Though their Christmas mince pie/booze tastings where their guests try to show them the joy of Christmas à la Dickens, is a close second. Is it appropriate to dunk the cookies/biscuits of countries without a tea culture in tea?? Who could say. What is the ephemeral ideal of "biscuitness" and how does it apply to non-british snacks? How far can David push his theme of wearing a suit and using "Richard Nixon" facts as an excuse while other David wears a series of very warm costumes for recording? Find out this and more on The International Worldwide Biscuit Review Podcast. That's 27, 30-60 minute episodes to make you laugh about theoretically dippable, sweet snacks. So, if you like all things Definitely Human, shows like Desert Island Crisps and other food review shows, then The International Worldwide Biscuit Review Podcast is for you! #nonfictionpodcast #nonfiction #review #reviewpodcast #definitelyhuman #biscuits #cookies #britishhumor #davidanddavidandtom #delightful #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation https://www.instagram.com/p/CoeJf3dOJiG/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

This goes without saying so hard, but also, just in case you don't know about what is basically Reading Rainbow for adults, here we go. Let's talk about Levar Burton Reads form...you guessed it, @levar.burton . Levar Burton Reads is an anthology podcast of the best sci-fi, fantasy, and fiction slice of life stories that he enjoys. Lever's unique style of soothing, yet dynamic reading is just as great for puttering around doing chores or falling asleep, not that the stories aren't engaging, but it's cozy, like a nice cup of your favorite hot beverage while reading a book. Gaiman to Okorafor, as Levar says the only thing these stories have in common, is that he loves them--and that's more than enough to sell me on them. I don't know where you're at in life, but Levar Burton on PBS was one of my favorite things to watch when I was little. Like a slightly later generations Mr. Rogers. So this is both nostalgia and his kindness, charm, and sheer ability to read a good story. It's 170, 30-60 minute stories of pure joy and storytelling. Go get those warm fuzzies and interesting tales. So if you like, fiction anthologies, smooth voices, and Levar Burton--because...Levar Burton, then Leave Burton Reads is for you! #speculativefiction #scifi #sciencefiction #fantasy #fictionpodcasts #delightful #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #familypodcast #familyfriendly #levarburton #levarburtonreads #anthology #anthologypodcast #readingrainbow #readingrainbow🌈 #blackexcellence https://www.instagram.com/p/CoRX76ju62I/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

So, this is a long shot TBH, but I really want this show to come back and finish their story. I need to know! So let's talk about Gonsanto Industries: The Insomnia Project from Thrown Together Productions. Gonsanto Industries: The Insomnia Project is a comedy Horror Fiction Podcast about a company that's trialing a drug to make sleep unnecessary. The money for the trial is good enough that getting paid to take a pill, keep a log, and just not go to sleep, I mean...how hard could it really be?? But some participants are having a hard time, mood swings, paranoia, etc. One of the lab guys seems concerned about the results, but other folks in the lab keep putting his concerns aside for things they feel are "more important" in meetings. Hoo boy! This is about to get really messy, isn't it? Well, it sure feels that way, and I'd love to know how messy. The best I can tell this show got shelved since the last episode posted was March of 2020. 😤 Pandemic strikes again! And the production company lists it as "on hiatus". Welp, let's hope the gods of pods hear my plea, it's funny, it's dark, I need to know what happens! I'm not into Twitter, but maybe y'all can listen and spam then in the DMs! Worth a shot! 4, 15isb minute episodes and some bonus content to catch you up. And yes, in that short time I was hooked to the story, so it might be worth it, just in case they ever continue. So, if you like dodgy psychological/medical experiments, like The Control Group, or that one season of Tanis, then Gonsanto Industries: The Insomnia Project is for you! @jaquikerschenbaum @richarddresden #fictionpodcasts #evilcorporation #comedy #comedypodcast #darkcomedy #darkcomedypodcast #scificomedy #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #gonsanto #gonsantoindustries #theinsomniaproject https://www.instagram.com/p/CoQWrE0PDDT/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Well shoot, technically *Sunday* was my Two Year IG pod-recs-aversary. Ahh well. 2 years of reviews feels like a lot of time, and yet no time at all. This year wound up somewhere between the two definitions of bi-weekly. Not quite 2 per week, but also a little better than one every two weeks. *Shrug*. To the pod-crew who follows me, I hope you founds some new shows for your lists! Onwards! I stubbled across this show while looking to fill my Wooden Overcoats void. And delightedly found that @atomcrowley has reoccurring parts in this show. So... Let's talk about the multi-award winning show, The Beef and Dairy Network (@beefanddairynetwork ). The Beef and Dairy Network is a deadpan surrealist comedy pitched as an audio industry newsletter for the dairy and cattle business, complete with fake feedstock ads. It follows the traditions of other dry British absurdist humor (or should I say "humour" for our friends across the pond) taking something boring and turning it slowly on it's ear. Here in the middle of the US, I literally get radio and geographic podcast ads for Ag fertilizers, pesticides, and corn hybrids. Heck, my old house used to basically get the IRL serious version of this show in magazine form--"Drovers Magazine"--once a month. Seriously. And so it delights me even more with the fake sponsor ads from Mitchell's Steel Hoof Deluxe--"If it's not Mitchell's, get back in the truck." It's 98, 20-60 minute episodes since 2015. So if you like the fine tradition of surreal absurdist humor from the UK, Beef herds and dairy animals (? LOL), to fill the hole left by Wooden Overcoats maybe, or want to somehow unpick the mystery of the fabled "5th meat", then The Beef and Dairy Network is for you! #darkcomedypodcast #fictionpodcasts #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #beefanddairynetwork #thebeefanddairynetwork #ericchapman #tomcrowley #britcom #humor #comedy #darkcomedy #dryhumor #dryhumour #britishcomedy #surreal #surrealcomedy #mitchells #steelhoof #lescheese https://www.instagram.com/p/CoEe-NdObtR/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Let's talk about The Chronicles of Rolling Hills (Dog Psychiatrist+Zombie Lawyer) @dogpsychzombielawyer . The Chronicles of Rolling Hills is a absurd comedy spec-fic show about the goings on in the town of Rolling Hills, an odd town with a weird history. But Hudson doesn't know that, he just met the best girl on vacation, he can't stop thinking about her, and he's coming to Rolling Hills to visit her! 🥰 She's not answering his texts, but that doesn't matter! He'll see her when he gets there. 🤩 But when he gets off the train, things get a bit odd, and odder by the second once psychiatrist, Wallace Sprague shows up a gives Hudson some friendly advice. And then...in an explosion of light, turns into a large black dog right before his eyes!! And...people have quite a few uncomfortable questions for Hudson about what happened to Wallace. And then others meet the dog, but only seem to see human Wallace when they look at him. And Dog Wallace has really taken a shine to Hudson. Gees, this whole this has gotten really weird for Hudson. Maybe arguably weirder for Wallace, but who could say. In other news, how did it happen? What does it mean? And will Hudson ever find his love? In Season 3, Attorney Jessica Darby is asked to go to Rolling Hills to assist a client in undoing a curse placed upon the client's family...in the past...that has cause him to become a Zombie?? Yeah, it's a lot to take in. Will Jessica take the case...for...three times her standard rate?! I mean, there is a whole season about it, so yeah, she'll look into it. It's funny, a bit silly, and a good time. And at 30, 6-30 minute episodes, you'll have something to entertain you for a little while. So if you like...King Falls FM lite...sort of? absurdist comedy vibes, or IDK talking dog movies, then The Chronicles of Rolling Hills (Dog Psychiatrist+Zombie Lawyer) is for you! #speculativefiction #specfic #specfiction #fictionpodcasts #podcastsunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #humor #comedy #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #rollinghills #chroniclesofrollinghills #wallacesprague #dogpsychiatrist #zombielawyer #jessicadarby https://www.instagram.com/p/CoByw47udWO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Let's talk about The Green Lama. The Green Lama is truly a throwback podcast to the golden age of radio. First told in pulp magazines, then onto an old time radio show, and 70 years later, The Green Lama podcast came to be. It's a adventure, mystery, superhero fiction podcast. Millionaire Jethro Dumont learned the art of fighting and Buddhist principals from a Tibetan monk, to become THE GREEN LAMA! "Ohm, Mani, Padme, Ohm, The Green Lama Strikes for Justice!" After using his powers to fight for justice in the Big Apple, Jethro goes away to WWII to fight against injustice on the front lines, but upon his return he's almost immediately sucked back in to a gang war, assassination attempts on local politicians, and a new young crime fighter who goes by the name, The Riveter! Can The Green Lama and his friends reveal whose behind these crimes, solve the gang war, and will The Riveter help or hinder their investigations? Listen to all 8, 30-60 min episodes to find out! So, if you like old time radio vibes, less gritty Batman, or rediculous superhero chants, then The Green Lama is for you! #podcastsunday #fiction #oldtimeradio #thegreenlama #greenlama #audiodramasunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #pulpmagazine #pulpfiction #superhero #mysterypodcast #mystery #actionadventure #buddhistsuperhero https://www.instagram.com/p/Cn3ZtQdOd05/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Pardon the post fade. One of my pets died, and I had to have some feels for a bit. But I'm back, if not somewhat subdued. In honor of one of my animal BFFs, let's talk about 30 Animals That Made Us Smarter from @bbcworldservice . Hosted by @patrick_aryee , 30 Animals That Made Us Smarter is a non-fiction pop-sci show about how animals and the natural world inspire us to new ideas in science and engineering. How did the face of a Kingfisher inspire a new and improved Japanese Bullet Train? How is everyone's least favorite insect visitor, the mosquito, influencing more painless medical needle design? Land, Water, Sky--animals big and small inspire us when we take the time to look! Welcome to the North West Footwear Database, please remove your socks and shoes. Let's talk about the North West Footwear Database. North west Footwear Database is a spec-fic, weird fiction podcast about a warehouse that houses all the shoes, shoe prints, and footprints that have (and possibly will) ever exist. They're ostensibly affiliated with the police, but...no one ever meets the director...ever. And much like the halls of Kakos Industries, there are some unmapped and unexplored sections of the facility. And it's rumored that some have gone mad looking for the mythical printless shoe. Located in a remote area of the Peak district in the UK. It's told in a single, first-person POV (much like Sayer or The Lost Cat). You are there for an audit of the warehouse, and as such get glances through many of the areas off limits to other people. 8, 15-30 minute episodes to reveal some of the inner mysteries of this secretive facility. I'm really enjoying it and it's unique vibe and fun concept. So, if you'd like a music-less combo of Sayer and The Lost Cat, odd facilities with cults, lore, and occasional Lovecraft vibes, then North West Footwear Database is for you! #speculativefiction #specfic #police #policeprocedural #weirdfiction #strangefiction #lovecraft #horror #horrorpodcast #mystery #mysterypodcast #firstperson #pov #Fictionpodcasts #podcastsunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #nwfootwear #northwestfootwear #timfoley https://www.instagram.com/p/CmqRE8QOe6c/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I just finished this new show today, and I don't know how I feel about it. So much like a mid-90s Zip Disk, I must pass this glitch onto you. I mean...it's good enough that I'm reviewing it, but I'm confused. LMAO Let's talk about John From Back Home. John From Back Home is a single-season slow burn horror fiction told through answering machine messages. Specifically answering machine messages from John to the answering machine of his high school buddy, Wes Davis' childhood home. John heard Wes had come back for a quick visit after being in Los Angeles for years. John remembers the good times they had in high school and can't figure out why Wes wouldn't have dropped him a line while he was there...or ever after he left...but you know just give him a call back. After a bit, John is just spamming the shit out of Wes' childhood home's voicemail, and it's all over the map, from fond memories to some hard stalker-ish vibes and you really start to think it's going one way, but it does something else. If I may, it's a bit like Archive 81 season 1 transition to season 2--kind of a jolt. Heck, I'm still not sure how I feel about that...I...think on the whole I enjoyed it?? It builds a plot, and then a sub-plot, and then weird, weirder, weirdest. I don't know. So now that it's in my brain, I need to pass this read error on to you (like a Zip Disk). Have you heard the show? What do you think? Post your thoughts in the comments! That's 9, 15-ish minute episodes it confuse and intregue. So, if you enjoyed the bizarre rollercoaster of all of Archive 81 or maybe the odd transition in Edge of Sleep, then John from Back Home is for you! #horror #horrorfiction #podcastsunday #fiction #slowburn #johnfrombackhome #mythology #audiodramasunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #confused #archive81 #edgeofsleep https://www.instagram.com/p/Cmih6ESO3bg/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Let's talk about Low Tide - From Conch Public Radio @lowtidefm . Low Tide is a fictional comedy podcast presented like a Local NPR affiliate. Sometimes involving the voices of actual NPR reporters. It's got Morning Edition like dad-puns, fictional ad sponsors-- like Merick Brewing Company who brew the hot beer you deserve after a hard day's work, Merick brews hot and stays hot. LMAO; Conch County's governmental flubs, local color, community guest, and dry news presentation. Yes, if you like NPR or riffs on NPR you'll get a solid giggle. So far that's 5, 20ish minute episodes. I'm getting a kick out of it, but the release schedule is a bit spotty. In June they announced their season 2, but only one episode since. I'm here for it, but the timing is opaque. 🤷‍♀️ Imma leave it in an when a new one comes it'll pop into the queue. So if you like Summer in Argyle vibes, dry NPR comedy, or comedy ads for fake companies, then Low Tide - From Conch County Public Radio is for you! #speculativefiction #specfic #specfiction #fictionpodcasts #podcastsunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #humor #comedy #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #npr #morningedition #conchcounty #lowtide #lowtidepod #mockumentary #newscomedy https://www.instagram.com/p/Cma4a2JuPii/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Let's talk about The Secret of St. Kilda @thekilda from @haggisanddragons productions. The Secret of St. Kilda was a 2022 Audioverse finalist y'all! And has 2 of my favorite podioverse people, @alanburgon (as main protagonist, Lockie) from The Amelia Project, and Alesdair Stuart (as the Narrator) voice actor and co-owner of @escapeartistspodcast and main host of Pseudopod. But I digress, The Secret of St. Kilda is a British, spec-fic, heartbreaking, dark-cozy(is that a thing?) podcast about the tiny British island of St. Kilda. St. Kilda is a small, close knit community and not everyone is welcome. It's more like a commune and they believe in an Old God, Dubrach. Lockie MacGregor is the new arrival. We discover that the community helped Lockie to fake his death so he could begin again on St. Kilda, but not everyone agrees he should be there. There are some dislikes and jealousies, one being rather prominent, but the community leader, who can speak with Dubrach, Andromeda, gets the final say, and she says Lockie stays. As time passes we find two things, Lockie's past, and that Old Gods sometimes demand terrible sacrifice. When you've found a community that (mostly) accepts you, and gives you a chance to start over, will you make those sacrifices? It's a fascinating dichotomy of light and dark played beautifully by the whole cast. I can't give you warnings without giving away plot points, but if the description isn't clear enough, this story does deal with death in various forms, so please consult show notes, as needed. 10, 30ish minute episodes in Season 1, and Season 2 is in the works! So if you like, well acted, dark fiction, cultist vibes, and Old Gods, then The Secret of St. Kilda is for you! #speculativefiction #specfic #oldgods #oldgod #island #cult #deathfakers #fakeyourdeath #supernatural #darkfiction #sacrifice #Fictionpodcasts #podcastsunday #trypod #podcasts #podcast #podcastrecommendation #podcastrecommendations #recommended #podcastsunday #audiodramasunday #darkcozy https://www.instagram.com/p/CmVvrtoO7UZ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
