I'm working on figuring out some isometric tiles! Here's my progress so far, with older versions below! I like the dirt and want to figure out adding more detail on the top of the grass

Hey I've been gone for a minute, but (not to dox myself on the internet too much) I finally passed my licensing exam to be a veterinarian! I'm feeling so much more motivated with all my hobbies now, so have a little cat in a plant to celebrate!!

Real life has been real life-ing, but here's my first attempt at isometric art I made as stress relief - lil 5 minute sketch :) I used Pop Rox palette off of Lospec

Finished train scene! This is the biggest pixel art I've made yet (360x360 pixels) :) I'm still not 100% happy with it, but wow have I learned a lot in the process of making it

Improved cat with @technecat-scratchings 's advice! I also changed the shape of the rock

Lil' cats on rocks!

I think they're readable from here, but at the full 360x360 canvas size, both options are getting a lost- does anyone have advice for how to make them more visible and/or opinions on which cat color works better??

Worked on a little spooky bookshelf to give myself a break from the train scene! I'm noticing as I post that the books should maybe have shadows too, but you live and you learn

I want a train in our game so badly, so I'm slowly working on making one! The step that made me actually start liking it was adding all the reflective details on the top

Rocks rock! Still working on my larger scene, and I'm happier with how these turned out than the tree

Work in progress- a tree that's only a piece of the biggest pixel art I've tried to make yet! The whole thing is gonna be 360x360, and I know people do much bigger ones, but wow that's a big jump compared to what I've been making 😂 I like the trunk, but am not fully happy with the leaves- any thoughts??

I made a little pixel doodle of my most recent DnD character, a baby aarakocra bard! She plays the lute and the harmonica, has bells around her feet, and writes terrible, terrible songs. Below is a version in which I remembered birds do in fact have tails, and the original sketch of her I made during a session. TBH, I would love to find a way to stick her in our video game eventually -M

Not super impressive, but J asked for a small background to use while working on the coding to get our first lil' character to walk, so this is my first attempt at doing top-down grass and pathways. I think the shading between the grass and path should be different? Unsure, and open to feedback -M
