A message from Saeed Al-Err, the Palestinian who runs the only animal rescue shelter in the Ghazzah strip.

Those aren't clouds behind him. That's a plume of smoke from a bomb, which is shown at the end. The dog also seen at the end was the one Motaz and his colleague rescued and brought to the shelter (was seen by a vet today).

As of January 9th 2024, he is asking for people to urge international organizations to get cat and dog food into Ghazzah, or any efforts whatsoever to try and get food for the animals in his care and in the ownership of many Palestinians. Here's the google docs link with the email format to copy and paste and the emails and phone numbers of the people to contact for this urgent appeal. Please hurry. He doesn't have much food left for the animals.

This is a bit of a rage induced post, fueled by a conversation I had yesterday and no less than 7 fics I have seen this morning.

I don't want to sound like a whiner, but can we please stop writing middle aged adults as sexualising underage characters, it's gross and creepy and the stories I've seen do it treat it like it's sexy and funny, it isn't.

If in Cobra Kai Kreese made sexual comments about Tory everyone would go mental, so stop doing it in fanfic (not necessarily this pairing). It's supporting paedophilia, if you're going to pair '85 Daniel LaRusso with Terry Silver, fine, Daniel is of legal age. But if you're pairing '84 Daniel with Kreese, or writing an AU in which Daniel is still underaged, and pairing him with an adult, that's literally supporting paedophilia, do not romanticize it. If you're going to write it, tag it appropriately so that people can filter it out through tags.

And while we're on the subject, tag your shit as underaged, so many works aren't tagged underaged when they have high school aged kids having sex with each other, it needs to be tagged. Saying "#icanttag" is NOT a valid tag to use to try and get out of it, tags are there as a warning, they have a purpose. If you can't decide appropriate tags, just message an author and ask for help.

It really frustrates me when people say that Johnny should just leave Cobra Kai, like, 80% of the plotline stems from this mans existence, Johnny is a necessity to the plot. Without Johnny Miguel would never have learned karate, Daniel would never have reopened Miyagi do, there wouldn't be an intense karate school fight, there would be no Hawk transformation, there would be no Tory-Miguel-Sam-Robby love thing going on.

Yeah he's a shitty person, but he's also a man that was abused from roughly 12 years old (I think) and brainwashed into ideals by his psychotic sensei who then tried to kill him. He's trying to improve himself, not very well, and he needs to do better by Robby, but he's better than Kreese by a mile and a half.

3) In season 4, I need a scene where it's either a Hawkmetri sleepover or the entirety of Miyagi-Fang (doesn't really matter as long as long as they're both there), and Hawk shakes Demetri awake at like four in the morning to show him his daily morning workout (cuz he's a showoff) and how he styles his hair. Bonus points if he lets Demetri do one of the spikes for him because, as we know, he doesn't let just anyone touch it. Bonus bonus points if this happens after he dyes it purple
