As the first entry for our 2021 Halloween Playlist, I present "The Monster Rap" by Bobby "Boris" Pickett and Bobby Paine, from 1984. This was released 22 years after the original Monster Mash and is a loose 'sequel' in a more modern style. I hope you enjoy it.

In Cappadocia, Turkey, up to 36 underground cities have been discovered. One of the best known and the deepest (85 m), it is the underground city of Derinkuyu. It contains stables, cellars, warehouses, dining rooms, ventilation shafts, wells … It is unlikely that the underground cities were intended for permanent housing, but they were built to withstand attacks and could accommodate a large number of people (30,000/50000) and your pets for long periods of time. Its antiquity dates back to the 7th century BC.
