Agent notes: Contestant is examined working mainly night shifts at the “Clover Care Hospital”. Contestant lives with mother ( Akiko Smith) and father ( Allen Smith). Seen very rarely going to his place of residence. Where most of contestants time appears to be either working or ongoing out to local clubs and participating in night life. Contestant is noted through in field interaction to be very kind and helpful, yet constantly in a state of fatigue. This is also indicated by level of exhaustion held underneath his eyes. Appears to hold interests in the alternative punk scene.

Medical report: Patient suffers from hallucinations, anxiety, and depression. Patient reports an unstable home life and is currently trying to find stability to get an apartment on his own. Patient’s hallucinations include auditory, visual, and olfactory. Patient reports workload at his job at the “Clover Care Hospital” can be stressful at times with the types of cases he sees. Specifically the ICU stresses him out most. Yet enjoys his work, and enjoys doing night shifts knowing his parents don’t bother him when he returns home to sleep. Recommending patient take new Rx (REDACTED) to help with anxiety and hallucinations. Patient was advised on good habits of consistent sleep, a balance diet, and activity. Follow up to be schedule in 3-6 weeks.

Contestants appears to be low risk to compromising operation and will be a perfect candidate for the experiment. Invitation to the “Lucky Rabbit Lottery” is recommended to be placed as a research study aimed to contestants interest. Please get study recommendation out through one of his co workers to ensure he is more inclined to the study.

Introductions

Hello hello one and all! Thank you so much for joining me in our very first announcement! Things may appear barren currently, but allow me to give some context on the matter of what truly is Unlucky Seven!

Synopsis

Unlucky Seven takes place in an abandoned Sanitarium. Our constants find out that the research study they signed up for appears to be way more than they bargained for. Rather than simple tests to preform, all 14 participants are thrown into a reality game show in which they must play a real life version of the card game mafia. Where an assigned participant will be given the role Mafia, in which they will have get away with murder and allude the group in the “town meeting”. As the protagonist you play the role of detective, trying to solve the case and figure out what really happened. All while trying to understand why this game is occurring in the first place, and how each participate is connected. Underneath the surface more and more facts begin to point to the involvement of an infamous cult pulling the strings.

Characters

Within the game is a colorful cast of 14 different participants, all holding some tie to either another or the game show itself. As the player you will stick with the characters assigned with the role “detective”, as your job is to lead the group to the truth that the killer is trying to prevent you from seeing. All the while in between cases, you will have opportunities to better interact with each character solo. But be careful, if you don’t meet someone’s requirements they might not want to spend time with you. And let’s just say, connections in the game really matter if you truly want to see what the story holds.

Gameplay: What to expect

This game is based on RPGmaker, having a main map to explore, that is riddled with secrets and keys to different endings or connections to the contestants. The style of the game replies heavily on classic visual novel style story. Where the focus of this game takes place on the story, connection to characters, and ways the players react to different scenarios.

The game will be broken into 7 unlucky chapters( get it?! It’s the title of the game!). Including a prologue, epilogue, 5 chapters of the main story. The hope is to release each chapter at a time, and when finish release a full fledge game with all chapters included in one bundle!

The game will included a variety of mini games in each chapter, depending on the theme of the given chapter itself. As the game show host needs to ensure the audience is entertained after all!

Your choices truly will matter, as within different choices creates different endings, and different treatment from characters. While of course there is ultimately a “true end”, there is variation on what may happen. Giving the ability for unique play throughs for everyone!

The game will include a variety of cgis for main story events and even special events if you’re able to unlock them! As well as an original sound track, so make sure to wear those headphones when you play! And even some crazy intense animations for those sleuthing detectives during the “town meetings”. That is if you’re able to find the killer correctly

Final notes

So know with all that at the way, you the reader I ask please send any questions or hopes you’d like to see come from the game! As more information is aimed to be released! And we will very much be watching and listening for your feedback. Oh and don’t forget to keep a watchful eye, as like any good game there will be lore crumbs ridden all over. Possibly helping you to deduce what might happen in the story, and who may be at risk to be an unlucky contestant per chapter. Welp!
