Before and after sustainable and non-innvasive harvesting calendula flower petals. Take only what you need and leave as little impact as possible. This is the way the plants have taught me to be their friend. . . . While the most medicinal part of calendula are the budding flowers, I choose to sustainably harvest flower petals so the living flowers can be food for bees and hummingbirds, especially when wildcrafting, you don't want to mow down the whole patch. They are not just growing for you, but for all creatures! . . . I am learning, I am growing and I am filtering just as these beautiful Fomitopsis pinicolas (red belted polypore) are on this fallen log 🙌 . . . Hi guys! Due to apocalypse I'm thinking of all these great ways to show you more of what I do and not so much makeup looks only! Soooooo..... Here's a picture of my current Creation Station. All of my bulk essential oils, herbs, oils, waxes, packaging and ready to go product is all right here on one of these 2 shelves. Mostly bought in bulk and stored in my precious collection of mason jars. 💜 . . . Part of the UP mission is setting and example of suitable and minimalism lifestyle that can be productive, fun and innovative. Currently I share a room with my creation station, literally all the clothing, precious belongings and entrepreneurial tools I own in one space with no walls (and with another person too!). I operate my whole operation out of this space and am even currently expanding to new products! . . . Even though I have very little possessions and feel constantly stacked on top of myself with projects, this has led me to have fuller experiences and put more intention into the few things I DO and OWN. This also essentially means a low overhead allowing me to grow my business free of big bank loans and start up costs, ie reasonable product pricing for those who really need chemical free and plant based products. 😉 . . . You can do so much with exactly the space and things you have if you learn to live creatively. Hope this time of solitude and slow down has opened your creative side.
