Immortal in your Gaze
I wish you could see yourself through my eyes; you’d be a universe wrapped in skin, holy in all the ways stars dream of but never dare to become.
And I wish you could see me the way I see you. Then I’d be eternal. Untouchable. I’d tear open heavens with bare hands. Time wouldn’t touch me. Death wouldn’t want me.
Because in your gaze, I’d finally be enough to outlast forever.

They lit the fire,
called me flames.
I screamed,
they called me insane.
So I swallowed the storm,
smiled through the smoke.
I said “It’s fine,”
as I slowly broke.
Now I serve silence
on golden plates,
and they take, and take
then call it fate.
But one day soon,
I’ll lock that door.
No more soft steps
on bloodstained floors.

You sit across from me, back turned, though we’re in the same room. My things, things you’ve borrowed and never returned lie quietly on your desk, as if they belonged there all along.
A pen I used to love. A sweater that still smells like my calm. Even my words, echoed back to me in your voice, emptied of meaning.
You ask for advice like it’s routine. I give it, soft-spoken, measured. You nod absently, already planning to do the opposite. I pretend not to notice again.
It’s always like this. You take, and I let you. Not because I don’t feel it, but because I’ve learned not to show it.
And somewhere in that quiet, I disappear just a little more.

My favorite Soul
You are everything I aspire to be. Beautiful in ways that go beyond appearance. Pure, kind, honest. When I look at you, I see light. When I look at myself, I see the shadow of you, the version that’s not quite as kind, not quite as honest, not nearly as soft. My reflection feels like the flawed echo of yours. My eyes don’t shine the way yours do, and the lines of my face don’t hold the same quiet grace or unspoken goodness. There’s something in you that feels untouched by the world, something I can never seem to reach in myself.
And still, with everything you are, and everything I’m not, I love you more than words could ever stretch to hold. I’d tear myself in half if it meant stitching even a little more peace into your heart. There’s no part of me that exists without loving you.

Heart for Heart
Watching you grieve feels like watching my mirror crack. You’re my mirror, my other half and seeing your heart break like this makes mine ache in places I didn’t know existed. Every tear on your cheek feels like it’s running down mine. Every silence you sit in feels like a storm in my chest. If it were possible, I’d trade my own heart for yours, just to give you a moment of stillness, just to let you breathe without pain. I’d carry your grief on my back if it meant you could stand a little taller again. I’d give up years of my life if it meant seeing light return to your eyes. Because you’re not just someone I love you’re part of me. And nothing hurts more than watching my mirror break.

The door i’d never open.
Losing you shattered something deep inside me. I don’t know where to go or what to hold on to grief floods me every few steps. I keep wishing there were a door to another dimension, one where you’re still here, still alive. I’d step through, find you, and bring you back into mine. Then I’d seal that other world shut forever, lock it tight, and throw the key so far away it could never be found. So I’d never again have to touch the pain of losing you, not even by accident.

With every breath I draw into this hollow chest, it feels like it sinks deeper. Like there’s less of me each time. So I force myself to romanticize my life, because if I don’t, I’ll lose my mind.

The peony represents a person who is full of love, loyalty, and emotion—someone who longs to be seen, understood, and cared for. The moon is someone distant and emotionally unavailable. They might be beautiful or magnetic, but they stay cold, quiet, and far away—never fully present, never giving real warmth. The sun symbolizes someone who would actually love the peony back—someone who offers warmth, clarity, and the kind of attention that helps you grow instead of keeping you waiting in silence.
A peony —soft, open, full of feeling. A moon—silent, distant, always there but never close enough. The peony kept blooming, longing for warmth, for a sign. But the moon doesn’t speak. And the sun is so much warmer than the moon.

I hate arguing with you. I can express myself so much better through poems or diary entries—but you’re not the type to read those. I guess, in the end, we really don’t speak the same language after all.
